In the Cloud Garden, a formation had begun to form in the center of the room.
Liu Wenji stood on one side of it her eyes clear. And in those eyes that seemed to hold an unimaginable depth there laid a symbol of justice.
Exhaustion was evident in her expression as her hands weaved sign after sign.
On the opposite side was Duo Wen. His eyes revealing the vast forest that he was.
His hands weaved a different set of signs then Liu Wenji.
A myriad of different color energies flowed from Duo Wen and Liu Wenji. Flowing into the formation; altering it, testing it and changing it.
Like a piece of cloth, two people were knitting at once.
Wu Chen watched the two for a while longer. After looking at Ning Yao's empty seat he shrugged.
"I don't know how you guys expect a fox to hold out longer than a tiger."
Wu Chen patted himself and then went to look at the battlefield. His eyes turned toward the North and sadness filled him.
Four different sets of energy gently nudged his back. And Wu Chen gave a bright loud fox laugh. And as the sound faded so did he.
