MIRA's POV
"Mr. Gray, if you don't mind, I would like to speak to my stepdaughter. I just want to catch up with her."
I told Mr. Gray as I really wanted to talk to this girl. How dare she didn't obey her end of the deal. It was very clear that she should stay away from Vincent. It seemed that I underestimated this girl. Now, she wants to take the company away from us. She's starting from SkyMu. But I wouldn't let her win. The entire Stones Enterprises belongs to me and soon will be Airis' not hers.
Both of them stared at each other for quite awhile and I can see anger and envy in my daughter's eyes.
"We will be waiting outside. Call me if you need anything." Vincent said and went out.
Now it's just the three of us.
"So, what are you planning? Why are you here?" My daughter asked her first but to anger us most, she didn't give any response.
"Yvory, I never thought you're the type of person who turns back from one's word." I told her but still no response. I bent forward and was about to slap her when she stopped my hand and forced me to stand up as she's still holding my hand.
Without releasing my hand, she said, "I never thought that you're also the type of person who's very greedy and untrustworthy." She released my wand and walked towards the window. From her reflection, I can see she took a deep breath and faced us.
"I knew what happened. Airis killed my father and like nothing happened, you grieved with me. You fooled me into giving the company to you! You don't deserve my father's love and after what you did, you shouldn't be given any right to step in this building." She said.
"Is that why you ran towards Vincent and asked for his help?!" Airis asked.
"WHY??? You're scared that you will not get him anymore?" Yvory asked. She slowly approached my princess and said, "He was never yours in the first place. And for the record, he wasn't, isn't, will not be yours forever! All of us here know that."
Airis was about to slap her but she stopped it again. She pushed Airis' hand making her lost her footing and when she recovered, Yve slapped her. Airis and I were shocked. I approached my daughter and looked up close how pinkish her cheeks had become.
"How dare you…" Then I looked fiercely at her but I don't sense any fear in her. Instead, she said,
"How dare I what? Everything here is mine for the taking. And as you took your time to fool my father and then kill him, I will also enjoy the moment as you work hard and fall back to where you really belong." She approached me and whispered, "In jail, that's for sure. I will make you pay for killing my father."
Yve then took a step back and smiled at us and walked fearlessly towards the door of the meeting room. As the door closed, my daughter finally broke down.
"Mom, what should we do? Today's supposed to be the day we remove her from the CEO's list but she emerged and even took SkyMu from me." Airis is crying as she hugs me.
"Shhh…..Don't worry." I told her as I rub my hands at her back.
"Remember the deal between the Gray Group and Stones Enterprises? Your marriage with Vincent?" She then tried her best to stop crying and looked me in the eyes.
Cupping her face with my hands I told her, "As long as you marry Vincent, you have won against her and you will live the life you've always wanted. As for the company, I'll make sure she will fail."
"Can you really do that?" She looked at me eagerly.
"When did mommy fail you?"
"Not even a single time."
"See? Now hush and stop crying. Everything will fall back to where it should be in the coming days. You will see." I hugged my daughter once again.
In my thoughts, if I fool your father and the rest of the company, you and your tiny brain will be as easy as ABC. This is business, my young lad, and not everything is done in sincerity and honesty as what you ideally think.

YVE's POV
It was really a long day and right now, I'm with Vince on our way home. I can't help but be relieved because I was successful. My strategy worked as how I wanted it to be although it was a pretty tough war. You gotta hand it to the board who cared for their money, my stepmother and stepsister who want the company for themselves.
"Yve, are you feeling sick?" Vince asked me while driving.
"No. I'm just tired. I just want to sleep."
"Then just go to sleep. I will wake you up when we arrive home."
I look at Vince and recalled what happened the past few days. He has always been there for me. If I hadn't left him before, did we even experienced this kind of things? I am starting to feel really sleepy so I pressed my back on the passenger seat.

VINCE's POV
The way she would always stare at me makes me feel shy. I can't help but think that she might have seen something bad on my face. But after awhile, I gathered my courage and glanced to her side of the bed to see her sleeping deeply.
She might have been very tired. I wish I can do all of this on my own or in any way that she doesn't need to tire herself. I only want her to live the medical life she wanted before, away from the chaos of the business world. Although, knowing her personality well, since she decided on this, she will not stop until she reaches her goal - to become the CEO of the Stones Enterprises.
I decided to hurry up. After a few more minutes, we arrived at my penthouse. Instead of immediately waking her up, I decided to enjoy the view as she calmly sleeps by my side. I traced her face with my finger and said,
"You did a very good job today! I know it was hard for you especially you are not use to showing your stoic face to anyone."
Then I approached her closely and kissed her forehead.
"I love you."
