VANELLOPE AMETHYST CLADMERE, a nine-year-old girl slowly opened her eyes. She looked at the clock and found out that it's only 3:00 AM. The girl sighed. It's still too early and yet she's there, sitting on her bed and was fully awake.
She suddenly heard a knock and the door of her room opened revealing a woman in her thirties.
"You okay? I think I heard you scream a while ago." the woman said upon entering. "I'm okay. It's just that I feel that I'm having a long dream but I can't remember anything about it." Vanellope told her.
"Maybe you had a nightmare or a premonition. It depends on what kind of dream you dreamt of. Anyway, it doesn't have anything to do in the present especially if you can't remember it." the woman said while caressing her silky, black hair.
Vanellope nodded to her.
She isn't a relative of hers but she act like a parent to her and took care of her ever since that incident.
"Venus, thanks for everything you did to me," Vanellope told her with a smile. Venus got confused by the sudden change of topic but after a few seconds, she replied, "Your welcome, sweetheart." and hugged her tight.
Memories of that forgotten dream fade away as the days passed. But little did Vanellope know back then that, that dream are parts of the puzzle that will complete her future self.
