Chapter 9 - Ch. 9 - Strength

(Will's POV)

Where am I? This path is so familiar,

Wait, it's Lin.

"Will." Lin said.

"What happened to you?" I say. There's

blood everywhere, I want to hold him but

I can't move. What's going on? With a

blink of an eye, he disappeared. Then

suddenly,

"Help me." He said.

I can't breathe, "Lin? Lin!" I shouted.

Then I woke up. It was all a dream. Well, a nightmare. What was that supposed to mean? I don't know if it's a warning or a threat but one thing's for sure, it's bad.

What time is it anyways? "1:14am" I read

on the clock beside the bed. "Let m

check on Lin" I thought. I tried to call him

but no one was on the phone. I tried to call

once again but still, no answer. I started to get worry to get really worried. Then I recieved a text that read "Stt pitere

Anbenue" First I thought it was a prank but I saw the number. OH NO! It's Lin's! What is this supposed to mean?! Stt pitere Anbenue? What? AH! I GOT IT! ST. PETER AVENUE! He must be there, I know it!

I immediately got out of my apartment, "Damn! It's still raining so hard!" I shouted. St. Peter Avenue is just 2 blocks away. I better hurry. It's really cold! I bet he's been there for so long, I should've let him stay in for the night!

I saw the sign that said "St. Peter Avenue" He must be near! "LIN!" I shouted. I waited so wet in the middle of the road. "LIN!" I shouted again. But no one was answering. Now, the regrets are starting to come in. If only I just took him in, this wouldn't have happened! "I'm sorry! It's my fault Lin!" I cried, and I fell to my knees. I cried so hard that my tears shed more than the drops of the rain. If I knew this would happen, I wouldn't have let go, I would have held on even if it hurts me so bad, as long as you're the one that I hold on to.

"WILL!" I heard a faint voice that sounded so raspy. "WILL" I heard it again. I went towards where I heard it, it pointed me to a building, "LIN!!!" There he is, I finally found him, laying down, wet, bloody, even the water around him was so red. He had lost so much blood. I ran to him as fast as I can. When I arrived, he said something with all his strength to speak.

"I love you."
