Chapter 180 - Chapter 172: Training Room

Huo Yuhao watched as his friends went on stage to fight against the Justsky Academy and closed his eyes.

'Everything seems to be proceeding alright. Everyone's at their best condition and they will truly show to everyone just how strong Shrek really is.'

'Welp, I'll pass the time to read the schematics I got from the auction as planned. I hope my main body is doing alright with his training.'

That's right, this wasn't the real Huo Yuhao! This was merely a Shadow Clone.

Since he was sure and confident of his friends' victory against their opponents in today's match, he decided to skip it and sent in a Shadow Clone to cheer on his teammates' success.

Swoosh*

A steel door slid open and Huo Yuhao stepped inside a large room, approximately 400sqm large and had numerous pieces of training equipment lying around.

"This hotel's training facility is pretty nice," Huo Yuhao whistled as he analyzed the room. This was the personal training facility for Shrek Academy provided by the hotel, with only some of the top-tier academies having the same treatment.

He narrowed his eyes at the several security soul tools that record the room's activities.

'How troublesome. But, not impossible to solve...' His eyes turned red with golden tomoes, he turned his head and his gaze penetrated through several walls before he reached the security room.

"Two security guards, both with Soul Elder cultivation. Heh. This will be easy," Huo Yuhao formed a single handseal, and his Sharingan pulsed with spiritual power.

Genjutsu: Sharingan

The two security guards that were casually looking at the soul screens stiffened and their eyes took on the appearance of Sharingan.

The special Genjutsu used only by Sharingan users, which usually worked by establishing eye contact with the target, had successfully worked at a far distance and without meeting eye contact. The reason for such success was simply because of his profound mastery of genjutsus and his upgraded spiritual sea.

His upgraded spiritual sea had enhanced his Sharingan's base abilities, like his vision and resistance to illusions.

Huo Yuhao set a command in their hypnotized mind: delete today's video recording after he leaves and replace it with yesterday's recording.

"Done. Now, let's get started." Huo Yuhao cracked his knuckles and huffed, his hands blurred in motion.

Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Twelve shadow clones appeared beside him in a puff of white smoke. The shadow clones looked at the main Huo Yuhao, waiting for his commands.

"Damn. The drain in my soul power is no joke when using Shadow Clone Jutsu, if I didn't have perfect control over my soul power, I probably would've collapsed by now," Huo Yuhao muttered, feeling the strain on his reserves.

As of right now, he had three shadow clones that two had around 10% and the other 5% of his overall soul and spiritual power, which left him at 75% of his energies permanently until he dissipates them.

However, with the recent breakthrough of his soul and spiritual power, his reservoir had increased. However, that created an imbalance between his two energies.

As it stands, his spiritual power had more capacity than his soul power, leading to an uneven distribution of energy. This imbalance could affect his combat effectiveness, making it critical for him to refine and balance both powers.

'I have to prioritize in cultivating my soul power first, or else my spiritual power would become too overwhelming for me to control properly,' Huo Yuhao thought. The uneven growth between his spiritual and soul power was a unique challenge, one that required meticulous attention and a well-planned cultivation regimen.

Which made the idea of his new cultivation method of separating his consciousness into two even more appealing. But it was still a work in progress.

Fortunately, that sort of problem can be temporarily solved if he distributes more of his spiritual power toward his shadow clones.

Since he came here to train, he didn't hold back in using the Shadow Clone Jutsu....which left him around 5% of his soul and spiritual power.

He shook off the fatigue, focusing on the task at hand. He knew the Shadow Clone Jutsu was taxing, but its benefits were well worth the cost.

He quickly divided the tasks among his clones. "Alright, you six," he pointed to one group, "start practicing and perfecting on more jutsus. I want to learn all of the five elemental jutsus to rank A and get to at least one hand handseal or not even needing them. I want to pass them down on future members in our sect without any issues."

He then turned to the remaining clones, "While the rest of you get to remaking the Tang Sect secret techniques to combine with some of the jutsus like Body Flicker and the Eight Inner Gates."

"And what are you going to do?" One of the clones.

"Yeah! Just because you're the main body, doesn't mean you get to slack off!"

"Justice for clones!"

Huo Yuhao pinched the bridge between his eyes, "Dear Sea God, did I mess something up and cause some of you to become stupid?"

"We're you, dumbass. You're calling yourself stupid."

"....Shut the fuck up, and get to work!" Huo Yuhao snapped.

Some of the clones flipped him off or stuck their tongues out, before they turned around chuckling when Huo Yuhao raised his fist.

As the shadow clones walked off to their assigned tasks, Huo Yuhaohuffed and looked down at his weight bracelets.

Due to the ongoing tournament and the incident with the Evil Soul Masters, Huo Yuhao had kept the weights at a minimum of 200kg than his usual 1,000kg.

Shadow Clones are extremely useful to those with a large energy reserve, as a shadow clone can not only help one in battle but also in training. Anything they learn or experience is transferred back to the main body once they are dispelled, making it a highly efficient way to train multiple skills simultaneously.

However, they couldn't transfer any physical improvements made by the clone back to the main body, which is why Huo Yuhao had to train his body personally.

Especially now that his physique had undergone a massive transformation due to the Life Gold. He wanted to test just how much stronger he got and how much he could handle to train further.

He adjusted the weight bracelets until he felt a familiar strain on his muscles. "Alright, time to work on my physical conditioning," he murmured to himself, ready to push his limits.

1,000kg.....1,500kg.....2,000kg....3,000kg....

Huo Yuhao's eyes widened in shock when the weight bracelets had no effect on his body, not until it reached 3,700kg and he stopped it at 4,000kg.

"What the...." Huo Yuhao clenched both his hands, veins popped up along his forearms and his muscles tensed under the strain. The increased weight was immense, yet he found it bearable—a testament to the significant boost in his physical strength after his transformation.

"This Life Gold... it's really something else," he muttered, a mix of awe and satisfaction in his voice. The miraculous material had not only healed his body but enhanced it far beyond normal limits. He was eager to see how far he could push himself with these new capabilities.

With his clones busy, Huo Yuhao focused on his physical training. He began with a series of warm-up exercises, gradually increasing the intensity. Push-ups, squats, and various other exercises became significantly more challenging with the added weight, but he welcomed the challenge.

As he trained, he kept a close eye on his form, ensuring that each movement was executed correctly. The slightest mistake could lead to injury, especially with such extreme conditions.

"Haa! Haa! Haa!"

Despite the burden, he moved with precision and control, a testament to his rigorous training regimen and strong foundation. He threw punches and kicks in rapid succession, each strike carrying the force of his enhanced physique. The air cracked with the power of his movements, and beads of sweat began to form on his brow.

The strain was evident, but he pushed through, driven by a desire to test his limits and refine his abilities.

And so, without further hesitation, he opened the First Gate.

Gate of Opening! A surge of soul and spiritual powers burst out of his body instantly enhancing his strength, speed, and reflexes. His muscles bulged and veins throbbed as the increased energy flowed through his body's pathways.

He continued his rigorous training, now with an even greater intensity. Each punch, kick, and movement was sharper, faster, and more powerful than before. The added strain from the weights and the opened Gate pushed his body to new heights.

He executed the technique part of the Eight Inner Gates, Front Lotus, against a dummy soul tool that could easily take on a full attack of a Soul King—only for it to be obliterated into pieces upon impact.

Huo Yuhao exhaled, the power of the First Gate coursing through his veins. The sight of the obliterated dummy brought a satisfied smirk to his face. "The boost from the Life Gold and the First Gate is incredible....alright then, time for the second and third gates!"

Gate of Healing! Gate of Life!

He gritted his teeth as the immense power from the two additional gates surged through him. His body felt like it was on fire, his skin turning red and he welcomed the sensation, knowing it was a sign of his increased strength.

With the Second and Third Gates open, his physical strength skyrocketed.

Huo Yuhao moved like a blur, striking the soul tool training dummies with explosive power. Each punch and kick was a sonic boom, and the soul tool dummies shattered under the onslaught.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" He breathed heavily, but his resolve remained unshaken. He pushed through the pain, practicing a second technique of the Eight Inner Gates: Reverse Lotus, annihilating every training he could get his hands on and causing destruction all over the training room.

He also focused on mastering the flow of energy through his body, analyzing the impact of each strike and the way his muscles responded to the intense training.

The combination of his enhanced physique and the Eight Inner Gates—making him feel invincible, but he knew that mastering these techniques required more than just raw power—it demanded control and precision.

As he executed the Reverse Lotus, his body twisted and turned with fluid grace, each movement perfectly calculated to deliver maximum damage. The room echoed with the sound of his attacks, and the walls trembled under the force of his blows.

"Alright, time to take it up a notch," Huo Yuhao muttered to himself. He closed his eyes and used his mind's eye to scan his body and directed his soul power into the meridian located in his spinal cord—the Gate of Pain.

And as the name suggests, he felt indescribable pain searing through his body as the Gate of Pain opened. His muscles bulged, his veins throbbed, and his skin flushed with the intensity of the power surging through him.

Huo Yuhao's senses sharpened, his perception of time slowed, and every movement became more precise and deliberate. He felt a newfound strength coursing through his veins, pushing him to the very edge of his limits.

He practiced various forms of combat, integrating his new strength and speed into each technique. His strikes became more refined, his movements more efficient. He trained relentlessly, pushing his body to the brink of exhaustion and beyond.

After what felt like hours, Huo Yuhao finally slowed down, deactivating all of his gates.

His body was drenched in sweat and his muscles aching from the intense workout. He deactivated the weights, allowing his body to feel relief from the immense strain.

"That was... intense," he muttered, wiping the sweat from his brow.

He glanced around the training room, his clones were still doing their own thing and ignoring him. His face quickly changed when he finally noticed the state of the training room.

His face twitched.
