Waves upon waves of divine power surged in the center of the Divine Realm. The sky overhead crackled with intense immortal Qi as the God Kings unleashed their powers, each God showcasing their divine abilities in response to the intruder's challenge.
Just the aftershock of a single God King's divine technique could rip the Douluo Continent apart. Even if they were in a Divine Realm, the land of Gods and a higher plane of existence, their divine abilities still caused profound disturbances in the fabric of the Divine Realm. The sheer force of their attacks created a maelstrom of energy, causing rifts in space to appear.
The realm, despite its resilience, felt the intense pressure from the combined might of the God Kings.
The Sage of Six Paths remained unfazed by their overwhelming power, he created a throne made out of ice and sat at the center of the storm, his dark-blue kimono rippling with the force of the unleashed divine energies and universal laws.
However, all of the God Kings attacks were effortlessly blocked by the floating black balls. Sage of Six Paths smirked at their pale faces. The twelve black orbs, known as Truth-Seeking Balls, absorbed and nullified the God Kings' powerful attacks with ease.
The God Kings, despite their combined might and mastery over divine laws, found themselves unable to penetrate through the black orbs.
Sea God furrowed his brows and gripped his trident tightly. Beads of cold sweat dripped down the side of his face, exhaustion etched into his features.
Even though he was one of the Enforces of the Divine Realm and its supervisor, it was only temporary. The only reason why the rest of the God Kings were giving him face, especially the God of Destruction, was because he also inherited the Asura God Position, God King seat of power.
Unfortunately, he still hasn't learned how to switched his Divine Natures without his wife, the Rabbit Goddess, around. She was keeping the Asura God Position within her body; the reason why he couldn't seal it within himself was because his Sea God Position was getting close to God King level. If he had kept it within him, the two Godly Positions would clashed and would result in his death.
'Just why is he fighting us? I'm sure that if we just talked, we could've reach a sort of an agreement. Or....is there something more to this than I'm lead to believe.' He thought, his eyes narrowing as he tried to decipher the enigmatic stranger's intentions. He quickly snapped out of his thoughts, dodging the eight black orbs.
'Also, why is he targeting me so much?! As if him staring at me wasn't obvious enough. He's supposed to be someone from an alternate timeline....did my other self pissed him off or something?' He was dumbfounded.
Brother Sage, I'm a different person. Why do you want to target me?! He could only bore the brunt of the Sage of Six Paths' attacks, feeling the weight of the mysterious god's focused aggression. The eight Truth-Seeking Balls moved with an uncanny precision, relentlessly homing in on the Sea God despite the other God Kings' presence.
They were specifically honing onto his junk. Both God of Destruction and God of Evil shivered upon seeing this despicable act.
And they say they were evil, nah, they just haven't met this guy yet.
"That Sage of Six Paths....! Just who in the hell is he? He's just sitting there, looking down on us God Kings, while sending out black orbs to attack us." Goddess of Kindness seethed as she looked at the Sage of Six Paths, looking completely amused as he looked down upon them from his icicle throne.
Sage of Six Paths glanced at her and smugly smirked at her.
"You motherfu—"
"Careful honey, you're showing your true colors." God of Evil chuckled as he blocked a Truth-Seeking Ball.
"Ugh, it's just so frustrating!"
"I know, I know."
"Enough of this! Sheng Ming, cover me." God of Destruction raises both his arms and destruction energy surged around him, crackling with a furious intensity. The Goddess of Life, Sheng Ming, nodded in acknowledgment, her eyes narrowing in concentration. A soft, green glow enveloped her, and the energy of life and creation began to merge with the God of Destruction's power, a rare and dangerous combination.
The air around them thickened with divine energy, the sky around them trembled under the immense pressure and caused spacial rifts. As the destructive force built up, it became clear that the God of Destruction intended to unleash a devastating attack.
Seeing this, the other God Kings quickly moved into formation, channeling their energies to support the impending strike. The Sea God, despite his exhaustion, gritted his teeth and prepared to lend his strength, while the others focused their divine powers, preparing for a coordinated assault.
"Let's see how you handle this, Sage of Six Paths!" The God of Destruction roared, his voice echoing through the realm. The energy around him surged, coalescing into a sphere of pure annihilation. Sheng Ming's life force intertwined with it, creating a terrifying amalgamation of creation and destruction.
"Hahahahahaha," However, contrary to their expectations, the Sage of Six Paths laughed, a deep, resonant sound that reverberated through the Divine Realm. His eyes sparkled with a greater amusement than before.
"I had already expected it, this is a few years before my ascension as far as I can tell and the great cataclysm, but....you're all just so weak, huh?"
He then stood up from his throne and the faces of the God Kings' changed.
All of his Truth-Seeking Balls went back to him and he let the black float in mid-air as it shifted back into a black orb, all of the black orbs revolved around him.
"You really underestimate me..." The tomoes in his Rinne-Sharingan spun as he slowly clasped his hands together.
Preta Path; Absorb!
To the absolute horror of the God Kings, especially the God of Destruction and Goddess of Life, the sphere of destruction and life, its energy was suddenly pulled towards the Sage of Six Paths. The energy, which had been building up to an unimaginable level, was rapidly drained, absorbed by his hands.
The sphere of annihilation and creation, meant to be their ultimate attack, was nullified before it could even reach its target.
The Divine Realm trembled under the sheer force of the absorbed energy, yet the Sage of Six Paths stood unperturbed, a serene expression on his face. His eyes, the Rinne-Sharingan, glowed with a cold, otherworldly light as he calmly consumed the God Kings' combined attack.
"Is this the extent of your power?" he asked, his voice carrying a tone of mocking disappointment. "You call yourselves God Kings, yet you cannot even scratch me. Pathetic."
The Sea God, still reeling from the shock, struggled to comprehend what he was witnessing. The God of Destruction, furious and bewildered, clenched his fists, but there was nothing he could do. The Goddess of Life, usually a figure of calm and peace, looked genuinely distressed. Their most potent attack, empowered by both the forces of life and destruction, had been effortlessly absorbed.
The Sage of Six Paths descended from his icy throne, the Truth-Seeking Balls orbiting him like a dark halo. The atmosphere grew heavy, an oppressive weight bearing down on all present. He surveyed the assembled God Kings with an air of disdain.
'Delving into this universe's future, they are not ready for what's to come. Especially if my counterpart will be settling for old man Nianbing's position, if nothing changes in his path.' He inwardly sighed, feeling a bit weirded out with how his life in this timeline is turning out. Especially how he didn't have Sharingan.
As an outsider, he shouldn't meddle in this universe's affairs too deeply. As a God himself, he was clear of the consequences of space-time shenanigans.
But he was going to help them out, who cares if they were not the same people he knew. They were still reflections of the friends and allies he had in his own world, and that was enough to stir a sense of responsibility within him.
As a Supreme Master, he had the power to fear nothing.
'And the most sure-fire way to help you guys, I have to incite a little motivation.' Huo Yuhao evilly smirked. He slightly raised his eyebrows and glanced to the side, sensing numerous Gods heading to their direction.
"....Who are you?" Sea God asked, taking a step forward with a determined expression.
"Are you deaf? Throughout Heaven and Earth, I alone am the Honored One—the Sage of Six Paths, master of life and death." Huo Yuhao arrogantly proclaimed.
"No....You're someone who knows us, someone very close to us in fact." Sea God narrowed his eyes, scrutinizing the Sage of Six Paths.
The other God Kings watched, a mix of confusion and curiosity on their faces. The atmosphere crackled with tension as they awaited the enigmatic figure's response.
'Heh, smart as always, father-in-law.'
The Sage of Six Paths, or rather, Huo Yuhao from an alternate future, met the Sea God's gaze with a calm, knowing smile. "You could say that," he admitted, his voice carrying a mysterious edge. "However, all you need to understand right now....I am your enemy. So point that fork of yours at me and come with the intent to kill!"
"Fork-?!"
Just as Sea God was about to retort, they watched shock and terror as a strange creature suddenly appeared behind the Sage of Six Paths.
This creature was a giant, earthen-coloured humanoid entity with a mummified appearance, a body shaped similar to a robe, and a number of spike-like protrusions on its back. Its had a blindfold where its eyes were and was like a tall mountain.
Its size isn't what shocked the God Kings, but the aura it exuded. The oppressive, otherworldly aura emanating from the creature felt as if the very essence of the Divine Realm was being weighed down.
The God Kings could sense a power beyond anything they had encountered, an entity that seemed to defy the natural laws of their universe.
Goddess of Life could sense a tremendous amount of life force within it, almost rivaling a planet.
Both God of Evil and God of Destruction could sense the ominous energy of malevolence and chaos within the creature, an overwhelming force that sent shivers down their spines. It felt as though they were standing before a manifestation of pure destruction, something that could unmake worlds if it so desired.
The Sea God, regaining his composure, stared at the creature with a mix of awe and dread. "What... what is that thing?" he stammered, gripping his trident even tighter.
Huo Yuhao coldly looked at him and said,
"Your judgement."
Then, chaos ensued when the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path went loose.
And Huo Yuhao used that moment to secretly escaped to the human realm.
'This should be enough of a tribulation to incite motivation. Haiya, eons of stagnation, and they only start to grow when our generation from soul land arrived. Becoming Gods had really dulled their desire to become strong, well, except for father-in-law. Being the first God for the last several eons to advance from a First Class God to a God King.'
'If he wasn't such a controlling douche, I would've liked him more.' Huo Yuhao snickered and the Truth-Seeking Balls surrounding him disappeared, his eyes also returned to normal.
As his body effortlessly entered the planet's atmosphere, Huo Yuhao's expression softened slightly, the playful smirk fading into a contemplative look.
Looking up from the sky like the God that he was, Huo Yuhao couldn't help but look at the Douluo Continent with nostalgia, his Divine Spiritual Detection easily enveloped the whole planet.
'There you troublemakers are,' Huo Yuhao leisurely walked on air, each step of his easily covered thousands of miles as he descended towards the continent. The familiar landscapes and energies of the Douluo Continent brought back memories of his youth, a time when he was still struggling to find his place in the world.
He made sure his Divine Sense wasn't sense by his children, he didn't want to ruin their fun just yet~
In Sun Moon Empire's Bright City, the giant arena where the continental tournament was ceased.
"....So, any questions?" Huo Zhanji huffed, finally done explaining the Huo Family dynamic.
"Oh, oh!" Xu Sanshi excitedly raised his hand.
"Yes, uncle Sanshi?"
"Can you show us your martial souls?"

Fun Fact: HSR has (allegedly) confirmed the appearance of Archer EMIYA in the collab with the recent trailer release! Fck yea! We're getting that Ult: Unlimited Blade Works! I am getting him as my first E5 R5 HSR character.
(Here's hoping that Genshin Impact does another collab and that it's another Type Moon/Nasuverse{Spoiler Alert: I got zero expectations for this})
Secondly, Kyle Crane is coming back in the standalone— Dying Light: The Beast! Sadly, I don't have a powerful PC to play most modern games so I'm just gonna watch theradbrad play the game(as always).
