One month later
"Hah!" Tang Ya yelled as she sprinted towards the large, blue pool that stretches as far as the eye can see. It was a beautiful day, with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze rustling the leaves of the surrounding trees. Tang Ya was filled with energy and contrary to expectations, instead of jumping into the pool, she kept running towards it.
'This is it, I can do it!' Wearing modest blue colored bikini, she took a large stride towards the water, the soul power in her body flowed throughout her body as she stepped into the surface of water, then another, then another. A few steps into the pool and Tang Ya was running as if it were the earth, a wide smile on her face.
"Woohoo!" She exclaimed, her voice echoing across the pool. For a moment she felt the urge to cry but held it back. Finally, after two weeks of trying to control her soul power so she could walk on water and not plunge into it like an idiot, she had finally done it!
Unfortunately however, that yell of excitement she let out had broken her concentration and... well, with yelp of surprise, her foot went into the water and she tumbled forward, splashing into the pool.
"Never celebrate quick, Teacher Ya." Huo Yuhao chuckled as he watched Tang Ya resurface, drenched and slightly embarrassed. "You were so close to the finish line!" he called out, trying to lighten the mood.
Tang Ya couldn't help but laugh at herself. "I guess I got a little too confident," she admitted, swimming towards the edge of the pool. "But hey, at least I made some progress!"
Huo Yuhao nodded, a smile on his face. "Absolutely! Just give it a couple of days and you'll completely master it. Ah, but you still have to practice your handseal movements and jutsus. Also, don't forget to help me out with the house again so buy some more materials in the village."
The chubby Snow Rabbit, now as big as Huo Yuhao's torso, was resting on his stomach twitched it's nose and nodded, as if understanding what he was saying and what was going on.
"Oh look, Xiao Dong is even cheering you on." Huo Yuhao smirked at Tang Ya as he wiggled on his beach chair, which he bought along with the other stuff for the villa. Considering he got the cash from the Ironblood Sect, he didn't hesitate to spend it for necessary materials for his soul engineering, as well as fortify the villa and make it comfortable.
If he was low? Well, the Ironblood Sect still had few more shops and/or factories for him and Tang Ya to raid.
A month had passed since the incident with Vold and everything else had been peaceful.
Hao didn't remember anything that had happened when he was possessed by Vold, which was reinforced by Huo Yuhao as he messed around with his memories, and he returned home to his parents in shame and a change of demeanor: he became more filial to his parents.
And as Electrolux had said, vanquishing Vold had purified all the anguished spirits in the villa and any other curses he might've laid down on the land.
Tang Ya pouted, resting her chin on her hand, water dripping from her hair, making her look playful and endearing. She glanced over at the Snow Rabbit, who now stood by her side, and reached out to pet its soft fur. "I know, I know. You're such a slave driver, you know that?" she teased, sticking her tongue out at Huo Yuhao.
Huo Yuhao chuckled and stretched lazily on his beach chair, enjoying the warmth of the sun on his body. "Don't worry, Tang Ya. You'll get it next time. I have faith in you."
Tang Ya smiled and nodded. "Thank you." she looked down at the cute rabbit and snickered.
"What?"
"It's just... I can't believe you actually named it after Wang Dong." Tang Ya giggled, petting the rabbit. "I wonder what kind of expression he'd make when you introduce this little thing to him."
"I'd imagine he'd angry about it for a few seconds, before he starts petting Xiao Dong with a dumb look on his face." Huo Yuhao smirked, looking up the sky as if he could actually see his friend's reaction.
"Pfft." Tang Ya laughed, rubbing her face on Xiao Dong's fluffy body. "Oh, I can imagine it!"
She splashed the waters for a while and asked,
"By the way, I'm curious. What's your cultivation at right now?"
"Heh, noticed it? I just reached rank 38 yesterday." Huo Yuhao chuckled at Tang Ya's twitching face, flipping on his sunglasses. He knew well that she had a breakthrough last night and entered rank 35. Unfortunately however, even when her martial soul had slightly mutated that she could absorb the lifeforce of others to increase her strength and cultivation, it still couldn't compare to having top tier twin martial souls and having absorbed a pure soul essence from a Soul Douluo.
However, his cultivation speed would slow down incredibly when he reaches rank 40. Having seen and copied almost all of the books that was made available to him by Fan Yu in his mind, Huo Yuhao found out something about soul master's having a Ultimate attribute to their martial soul.
In exchange for no longer experiencing bottlenecks when crossing into the next Soul Grade and getting the vast power of the ultimate attribute, the user will experience a slow down in their cultivation rate after 30th rank. But due to Huo Yuhao's special circumstances, it moved to the 40th rank. This is due to the toll the ultimate type martial soul take on the body and that the body needs more time to adjust than is normal for soul masters.
Huo Yuhao was of course dissatisfied with this and planned to find ways to speed up his cultivation in the future. He had already started looking for all kinds of heavenly herbs to strengthen his body in the black market but it was a slow process.
Huo Yuhao let out a sigh and stood up to leave. "Well, I'm going to the basement and work on some stuff. After you dry yourself off, come down and help me out. We still have a lot of work to do."
Tang Ya nodded, still grinning. "Sure thing, boss. Just let me enjoy the water for a little while longer." She swam towards the edge of the pool and climbed out, shaking off the excess water, making her assets jiggle a little. Huo Yuhao had only glanced at her for a moment as he went to grab Xiao Dong before turning around to head towards the villa while Tang Ya followed behind him, not realizing what she had done.
Because of his eyes, Huo Yuhao captured her every movement clearly and with great detail, it burned eternally in his mind. His face went red for a moment before shaking his head, 'What the hell am I thinking? She's senior brother Bei Bei's girlfriend!'
As Huo Yuhao entered the villa and went passed a reflective mirror, he couldn't help but take a look of himself.
Standing at 5'6 feet tall at thirteen years old, Huo Yuhao clearly didn't look his age. With his wild spiky black hair and his deep ocean blue eyes, a slight scar on the left corner of his lip, he often attracted attention wherever he went. His physique was also well-toned, a result of his rigorous training and constant cultivation, but numerous crisscross scars decorated his body as a reminder of his past battles. Overall, he had a handsome and roguish appearance, a bad boy look.
Most teens his age would be ashamed and/or grossed out of having so many scars across his body but Huo Yuhao didn't give a damn. Honestly, with today's technology and the miraculous herbs in the black market he could've erased the scars. But he didn't, he wanted to keep it. As these scars of his were a reminder to himself that he wasn't invincible or unkillable; that he was still a mortal.
Huo Yuhao stared at himself for a moment, and a cold, dark aura appeared behind him. The entire room around him turned into hell, the entire ground soaked in blood and numerous animal bones scattered, with a mountain of bones laid behind him.
'My killing intent has only slightly subsided despite several weeks of peace,' Huo Yuhao grimaced and forced his killing intent back into his body, just in time for Tang Ya to appear behind him with a towel.
"Hm? Yuhao, what's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just enjoying the view." Huo Yuhao joked, rubbing his chin. Tang Ya rolled her eyes and walked past him.
After Tang Ya went towards the bathroom, Huo Yuhao let out a deep sigh.
'I need to find a way to control my killing intent before I accidentally kill someone with a heart attack. Thankfully Teacher Ya has been so focused on getting her revenge, and with a little bit of perception manipulation, that she hadn't noticed my killing intent or she would...'
Huo Yuhao shook his head, pushing these thoughts aside as he made his way to the basement. If all else fails, he'll just start becoming a monk or something. But first, he needed to focus on his soul bone weapon project.
He'd been waiting for too long for this.
Huo Yuhao walked up towards a seemingly ordinary wall, with the red lotus wallpaper that Tang Ya decided to cover the walls, he raised his left palm against the wall and his eyes changed into the golden Sharingan, there was a beep as his hand started glowing red and flashing lights monetarily covered his vision.
[Access Granted] A monotone strange voice entered Huo Yuhao's ears.
The hidden basement opened up, revealing a secret laboratory filled with advanced machinery, materials, and various soul tools. The walls were completely metallic with blue lines lighting up, all made from rare and durable metals. Huo Yuhao stepped inside, feeling a surge of excitement run through his veins. This was his sanctuary, where he could experiment and research all kinds of soul tools for him to use.
This is also where most of his money went, and he was still planning on expanding it for future plans.
He walked forward, letting down his cute rabbit down, and grabbed a lab coat from a nearby table and looked up to a huge tube in the deep end of the basement room, it was around his size, with the Snow Deer King's soul bone floating in it filled with liquid.
Huo Yuhao approached it, his eyes filled with excitement and determination.
"Soon, I will have a powerful weapon."
