Chapter 6 - Bedroom Magic

I guess I should've expected something right out of my imagination. (Get the pun) Yet, when I finally caught up to Lassie, my breath caught in my throat. My room... it was amazing. I walked in, the colors black, silver, blue coated my eyes. There were books, ( I actually do read) video games, instruments and so much more. My jaw dropped, it was a dream. I saw a door on the other end of the room that I assumed was Castor's room as Lassie was talking about it in the background. I just stood there at that point, looking around in sort of a stupor. Though, wouldn't you do the same if you spent all your life in a cramped room with ten other kids?

I was like that until out of the corner of my eyes I saw Lassie and Castor start to walk to the adjacent door. I quickly shook myself out of my daze and walked across the room to meet up with them. Castor's room was just so... Castor. The bright colors, red and gold. It was probably based off of that wizard themed book I read when I was eight. Video games, a stereo, amps, and etc.

I'm not that good of a descriptor, am I? Well, a large king sized bed with a yellow and grey comforter set was smack dab in the middle of the room. Though, still not decreasing the room size by much. There was a balcony with a lot of.... things, I.e, vinyl records. A flat screen tv in the corner on top of a table. With a desk in the back, and bean bag chairs in front of the tv. I think I did well enough.

Castor was, of course, marveling at the sight. Lassie smiled slightly, somehow with her wolf-like appearance seeming warm and motherly. Not that I would've known anything about that. Lassie left soon after telling us we to get used to our new rooms and she would call us for dinner.

Castor stopped marveling and turned to me and said,

" Wanna play some video games?" I, of course agreed and we raced over to the bean bag chairs, picked out a video game, and started playing. Yeah, life is good.
