Chapter 4 - The birth

[Samuel's Pov]

Galia and Tempus were against it as they were wary of Phönix while Sivia and Remolus were with me and kinda liked Phönix and more importantly trusted him. In the end, we decided that we go with Phönix as we weren't able to sleep or eat since we came here.

"We would be glad we haven't found anything to eat in days and couldn't get an eye close."

Phönix looked at us and answered back.

"Very well please follow my servant it will lead you to your sleeping quarters. As for the dining room, you just have to walk to the left in the main hall, it is also marked ."

As he finished talking did one of those flying metal 'servants' flyover.

We followed it towards a location where nothing was when suddenly the dirt broke away a few meters away and many more of those 'Servants' were building something as they finished did the one that was guiding us enter the metal construct that they just now built. We were very confused as to what to do we reluctantly entered the metal box when it suddenly closed and started moving. Galia was very stressed and nervous when the elevator stopped did the door finally open again and revealed two doors with a manikin on each, they looked like a man and a woman, to the left as he said was another door with the title: dining room.

"Well at least did this Phönix think about privacy." I was Silvia who voices out her opinion.

As we enter the room were we greeted by a nice looking and clean room with glamorous beds on the walls were pictures of a shrine and Phönix with the wings of a Phönix , it has been bugging me now for a while that his name was similar to this legendary creature but it seems that he has some kind of connection with it or at least thinks like it. I also wanted to talk to Phönix in private as it would be a problem if everyone would be hearing our conversation so I try to excuse myself from the others by saying I have to go to the toilet. As I leave I see Silvia walk out the same moment as me she looked at me. "Where are you going, Samuel?" "Well, I thought that I should talk a bit more with Phönix." I was direct to her as I liked her and didn't want to lie to her.

"I was planning to do the same should we go together?" She smiles at me.

"I see no problem." IDIOT why did you say that wasn't it going to be a private talk with him.

Then did Silvia enter the elevator and gave me a sign to enter. As we are both inside did the door close and the elevator move again we heard a rattling behind the wall. I think that this is the mechanism that makes this metal cabin move.

As we arrive at the surface again I see Phönix in the same location as before and the 'servants' building the wall further and also constructed what looks like a gate as I and Silvia look around in amazement did Phönix finally move. He looked at them and finally asked.

"What are you doing here shouldn't you familiarize yourself with the facility?"

"You see I had many questions and the one that has been bugging me the most is how is all this possible I didn't feel any magic when that metal box moved."

"You see that wasn't magic but I can't really tell."

"Then let me change my question. What do YOU want now? I mean you seem like a godlike figure."

"Amusing you see me as a godlike figure, well I might be maybe just on the edge to become a true god and am just missing followers."

"Ha that would be funny but I would be interested in this church that you want to create after all every god began mortal but you were created to be godlike." This time it was me. Silvia gave me an interested look.

"Well, what would be the name of your church?" Silvia asked with a slight chuckle.

Phönix just stood there for a few seconds seemingly in thought.

"Machine church sounds nice and is fitting, but more importantly why are you so interested it is as if you were searching for something like this?"

"It would be a lie if I said no, I have no true god in that I believe as they are just a bit more powerful versions of us but you, ... you are special I never saw something like you and it seems worth it to follow you and help you expand your church, as for the name it does sound nice and I guess from this name that you are something like Machine God?"

It would be an understatement if one would say that I was shocked, Silvia always seemed like she would always stay with the god of prosperity and life Gaia. But it was truly a similar way of thought as mine.

"What about you Samuel are you with me a devoted follower of my church the Machine Church?"

As he said it I was hesitant but the next second I bowed down in front of the might and the wonders I never saw again and in the next sentence I voiced out my mind.

"I Samuel Grown say myself lose of the church of life and prosperity and am now a devoted member of the Machine Church led by the almighty Machine God."

As I bowed down I saw to left that Silvia started to bow down in a similar fashion.

"I Silvia Emberwood am from now on a proud follower of the Machine God."

"Very well from today on you are the foundation on that I will build my church, from today onwards you Samuel Grown will be the pope of my church, as for you Silvia Emberwood you will be the holy maiden of my church. You two will show the world how naive they were and that true power lays in me and my creation!" He thunders out.
