Seeing Sky stop walking, the party was confused as they also halted.
They all looked at Sky who was staring at the air in front of him with a delighted expression.

'Ooooh, what an improvement!' Jaden was elated as he read the numerous notification windows. 'Even the skill window changed.'
The description of the skill had changed considerably.
Abaddon has gotten stronger.
'It seems that the little guy is doing well by himself.'
'Wait, why a knight though?' he thought. 'And what were those certain influences earlier?
Unable to come up with any answers, Sky threw the questions at the back of his head and checked Abaddon's status window.

'Good.' Sky nodded in satisfaction as he looked at the improved status window.
Glancing at the free 95 stat points which Abaddon accumulated before the evolution, which he had also forgotten, he grinned before adding them all into Strength.
'Since you'll be grinding with me from now on, your damage needs to be much stronger.'

"Good!" Sky laughed.
Completely forgetting that he was traveling with other people, at this moment, Sky, who had gotten a bit used to it, chanted the Skeleton Summoning.
With an eager expression, he shouted. "I Summon You From the Realm of the Dead, Abaddon!"
'Come, Abaddon!' he thought as he spread his arms out.
However—
[Abaddon has refused your summon.]
"?"
[The Skeleton Summoning skill was unsuccessful. Your health will not be consumed.]
Queen and the others: "..."
"...what?" Sky was surprised at the result.
Right then, as his arms were fully spread out, he suddenly felt a couple of stares on him.
They were a bunch of judgemental eyes, gazing at him.
"Ehem."
With a red face, Sky coughed as he retracted his arms.
He then looked at the group and waved his hands while smiling. "Please don't misunderstand."
The party members had odd and peculiar expressions as they stared at him.
Kyle's body couldn't resist twisting. "The cringe," he whispered.
Despite his low voice, since the surrounding was devoid of any noise, everyone present heard his words.
Sky's face was that of embarrassment. "No no, you see, I was trying to summon my Skeleton Knight so I had to say those words to activate the skill."
Queen looked away.
Su Yan giggled as she also looked away.
Salvator and Spectre did the same.
Kyle had a mocking smile plastered on his face as he stared at Sky, as if he had just found a weakness. "Cheh, what do you mean summon your Skeleton Knight. At this point in the game, do you think such a skill exists?"
He continued while sneering. "Why did you say Skeleton Knight? You should've just said a Death Knight or a Bone Dragon instead."
"Summoning a Skeleton Knight..." he laughed. "Those monsters are at least level 40 and above! Even us five wouldn't have an easy time beating one. And you say you could summon one?"
As the blond knight continued to mock, Queen and the other four exchanged glances, their eyes holding contemplative.
'Actually, it might not be impossible for this guy.' they all thought at this moment while looking at Sky who was trying to fix the situation.
For someone who already climbed to Level 40, for someone who had solo-killed a Level 100+ monster, such a thing wasn't impossible.
However, they couldn't help but be embarrassed for him when they remembered the summoning chant.
*****
At this moment, at the Ancient Undead Plateau—
A black vortex hovered above an incredibly thick black gas that seemed to bundle around something.
Right then, the black smoke separated as they slowly ascended, back to the black vortex.
As if nothing had just happened, the black vortex disappeared in less than a second, returning the surrounding back to normal.
"It evolved to a Skeleton Knight?" muttered the skeleton knight with the burning skull as he watched from afar.
A few seconds after the black vortex disappeared, what was left behind was eventually shown.
It was a skeleton knight. It was 190 cm tall and was clad in a sleek bone armor that covered its entire body, from top to bottom.
As it sat atop a skeleton horse, an intimidating aura radiated from it.
Hiiiiing—
Two holes could be seen on its white bone helmet which had a horn in the middle that pointed upwards. And from within those two holes, blue flickering flames could be seen, which seemed to be the skeleton knight's eyes.
They were like a pair of will-o-wisps!
The next second, the skeleton knight pulled out the bone sword that hanged on its waist as its blazing azure eyes stared at the Bone Terror from afar.
While the Bone Terror was superior in size to the skeleton knight, since the latter was mounted, it was actually taller instead.
"Clack...E-enemy...clack...F-fight..!" the skeleton knight said, albeit disjointedly.
Neighhh!
With its reins pulled, the skeleton horse rose up proudly before rushing towards the ax-wielding monster.
The skeleton knight glared at the Bone Terror as it closed in.
Raising its sword, the skeleton knight swung from above.
Bang!
The bone sword made contact with its enemy's ax as a resounding sound was heard.
The Bone Terror was pushed back a few steps due to the surprising strength behind the attack.
Kruooooo!
Roaring, it retaliated as it swiped with its ax.
Clang!
The two weapons clashed once again.
However, the outcome was the same as the Bone Terror was forcibly pushed back.
The skeleton knight didn't let up.
With its improved sword mastery, the bone sword lit up with blue light as it swung in the air.
Seeing this, the Bone Terror instinctively parried.
Clang!
This time, a crack could be seen on the struck edge of the ax.
The Bone Terror glanced at its weapon before looking at the skeleton knight.
Its aura dominated, in fear, the Bone Terror took a few steps back.
However, the skeleton knight didn't stop its assault.
One after another, it brandished its weapon as the bone sword repeatedly shone with blue light.
Eventually—
Crack!
The bone ax shattered as the Bone Terror knelt on the ground, its wrist also fragmented.
Clop, clop, clop.
The skeleton horse walked forward.
Staring at its enemy that was on the brink of its death, Abaddon clenched his sword.
"Finish it." a voice rang from afar.
Abaddon glanced at the source as his eyes landed on the skeleton knight with the burning skull.
"F-finish..." his eyes shifted back to the target. "B-become...S-stronger..!"
Raising his arm, Abaddon hacked from above as his sword decapitated the Bone Terror.
"I-i...W-win..."
