(A Day after Soren's return)
It was midnight and I just finished reading about the shy creature "Teekee" Teekees are creatures that are always 4 meters tall as they are rocks that are possessed by unknown entities. They takes the appearance if earless Easter Island rocks with the body the size of a toddler and have four, rocky fingers that practically useless as the can't reach over their ginormous head which makes them 4 meters tall. Despite their unsettling appearance they're actually extremely friendly. People are just afraid of them due to the way they rush at them at full speed in an attempt to talk to them.
They love doing things such as dancing, humming anime themes that they get from people that talk to them, dressing up, and just having a good time They do have families despite being possessed rocks. They way it works is that the prescence that carves and possesses one rock, splits itself and possesses other rocks, they identify each other by their energy. They are extremely intelligent beings but they can't create much due to their short, stubby arms. They do have psychic powers but they are too weak to successfully construct things. Their species has always thrived due to their funny behavior, not even the worst of people would hurt them.
Another reason is because the weird crying sounds they make. They all have the same voice which sounds like....it's quite hard to describe. It has a sort of deep but it's also quite high tone, most likely because it's a rock but it also sounds like the obese character in a cartoon.(Not by a lot as you can hear them clearly). I looked up in the sky through the window as the moonlight shined in parts of the room. I went to bed as the soft sounds of animals put my to sl- BWOOSH! Something had broke in and out the house. I got up to check and he shape of the hole it made was ~square~
I just looked flabbergasted as a tree fell the top of the house. Soren got up out of bed and looked at the hole and just went back to bed.
"What the W-" I screamed in my mouth as I grabbed her by the hair and tugged her towards me
"Damn, You were so frustrated you changed perspective" Kid said as he wrote a sentence in a journal that said, "You all better be laughing....Don't ask how he saw this. No. He isn't 4th wall aware. Yes. You should still be laughing"
I just looked at him with a face that showed many different emotions, mainly being anger and confusing. I just turned back to Soren.
"How are you going to ignore the giant hole in our house!?" I shouted
"Well One, I'm too tired for this and Two, This technically isn't even our house, we didn't buy it or pay taxes for it or anything, we just live in it. I'm pretty sure it's that kid's house" She moaned as she pointed toward Kid.
"xczvzvxvxxdizxlldxxphhhh!" I stumbled
"Just Get dressed and so we can find out what happened" I said as I ran into my room to get dressed.
(Five minutes later)
We got dressed and ran out the hole that was busted through our house to hopefully track what did the damage. I rummaged through the ivy branches and the tall grass. I saw many rare plants on the ground but I ignored to get them because I was more worried about figuring out what broke through the house.
I was scouting around with Soren until we heard a, "There you are!" in a ~Low voice~ as we saw a blur run in front of us.
We we're frozen in shock. Then we suddenly heard an, "Uh!" and a loud thump.
As we got closer to the origin of the sound we heard rustling in the grass.
We speed walked toward the sound and when we got close we heard the same voice say, " Just Act normal!"
I cleared the branches that were hiding the thing that supposedly busted through our house and we saw a Teekee lying in the ground. We could see the ground being pulled into a spot under it's head so that's how we could tell what it was. I approa-
"PLEASE DON'T HURT ME-HE-HE!" It cried
"We weren't going to but--*yawn* we want to know why you ran through our hou-"
"Oh--That was your house? Well I'm sorry about the damage but I did that because I saw a person on the other side and I wanted to talk to then and make a new friend. My deepest apologies!" He interrupted
"So....why didn't you just knock on the door of our house? You could've made ~two~ friends but you just ran through our house to make o-"
"There weren't any cars there so I suspected there wasn't anybody home" Teekee once again interrupted
"Why would th- geez I thought these things were supposed to be smart! I mean this is like the poorest city around!" Soren said
"Wow he actually let me finish a sentence" She thought as she looked at the ground
"My apologies! You see, this isn't were I normally live. I just came here to visit with my family then I got lost and wound up here. I actually live in Shōko Oasis which is a lovely place to live!"
"I see, Well we wish we could help you but we have our own th-"
"Wuuuuuhhhhh!" Teekee cried
"I don't want to hear that again so I guess we're uh.....Helping you now!"
"So Uhhh....What now?" He asked
I told him he could stay by us until tommorow. So we head to the destroyed house and went to sleep (No we weren't very comfortable)
(10 hours later)
I picked up my sword and Soren picked up her spear. Teekee just followed behind us. We walked out and went to the Nyhō Desert which was many miles away. The heat was intense and the wind was intense. We saw the ground rumble and shake. Teekee's face didn't change (Because he's a rock) but me and Soren were on our toes. All of a sudden a giant beast jumped out the ground. It was a Meiko--A beast that takes the appearance of a Blood Red Buddha with knight like armour. It turned it's left hand into a scythe and swung at us.
We jumped over it and thrusted our weapons at it. It's thick stomach completely blocked our attack, not a single scratch to be found. We jumped back and looked at the beast as it lifted it's arm up for another attack. It swung at Soren and I blocked it for her. It pushed me back even when I used my full power. Teekee just watched (Not like he could do anything) as we defended ourselves against the Meiko. It raised it's other hand to swipe us away.
I first thought we had to retreat but I then remember that there was a page in the book that talks about energy and how to use it properly. It taught me that i was using my energy inefficiently, just going all at every time I engage in battle. I put both hands on my sword and focused my energy into it. It flashed a radiant blue for an instant as rings of energy gathered around it. It swung at us at full speed (Which isn't actually THAT fast).
"悪魔の爪! (Akuma no tsume!) Devil's Nail" I shouted at I stabbed the Reiko in the hand as it swiped it's hand
There was an awkward silence for a moment. I took my sword out the palm of its hand.
"That's all? No cool beam of fire--or an explosion? None of that?" Teekee asked
The beast simply lifted it's arm back to swing.
"Uuuuuhhhhh!" It bellowed at it swung its arm.
A blue crosshair instantly scanned my sword as I jabbed my sword into its palm, sending out a thin and narrow beam of energy straight through its hand, knocking it back.
"Ohhhhh So THAT--Was the attack!" Teekee said as started dancing.
I jumped back and jabbed relentlessly. It uses It's scythe arm to block my attacks. I was actually pushing it back as I landed a hit or two as I barraged it with thrust. It used its other hand to palm me with a shockwave. I blocked it with 'Akuma no Tsume', causing a stronger shockwave, unevening the ground. I decided it was time to end this battle as I jumped back and sheathed my sword. I picked it up with it still in the sheath and dashed at it. The Reiko threw its fist in a fit of rage.
"シース...(Shīsu...) Sheath..." I said as I swung my sword, unsheathing my sword as it collided with the angry beast's fist.
I was now behind the Reiko with my sword held the way an assassin's knife would be held across my chest as my sheath was coming back to me like a boomerang.
"スラッシュ (Surasshu) Slash" I said as soon as the sheath got into the sword.
Suddenly, A wide cut had appeared on the Reiko, it was halfway through it's body. If I had swing any harder it would've been cut in half. It was gushing blood as the beast fell to its knees.
"Seems like you won" Teekee joked as he stopped dancing .
"Now, are we gonna..You know, find my family or what?"
