Nani the fiak?! Did Lord Daicus seriously just say he wants me to marry his daughter? From what I know about this game, all senses are present, and during the intro I learned sex is possible but you must have consent and minors are untouchable. However, minors can consent to have sex with others! This means my minor ass can get laid here! Alright let's do this! I then looked back into the eyes of Lady Lancia, who blushed crimson and smiled shyly, then I gave my attention back to Lord Daicus. "Lord Daicus, I'm greatly honored that you would hand over your daughter to me, however I must decline at this time. Please wait until I build a great reputation for myself. Only then will I feel confidence as a man to take her hand in marriage. Please wait patiently, for it shouldn't take me a great length of time!"
Voices of shock and disbelief traveled throughout the room as the many lords and ladies stared at me with their jaws hanging low. Lord Daicus looked at me with a thoughtful look on his face and scratched his chin. He then took a breathe and then spoke to me. "Very well I shall acquiesce. However, I still insist that you recieve this small reward from me. I look forward to your future exploits, and I'm sure my dear precious daughter eagerly awaits the day you propose to her. Please don't make her wait too long. You may take your leave Barons Draven, Bartook and Zubarius."
The three of us high fived each other then bowed before leaving the lord's estate. With a light sigh I led my brothers back to the crafting area in town. Once we arrived there, my buddies looked at me with confusion. "I understand we have our crafting subclasses, but Brother Draven, why have you brought us here?" This was said by Zubarius. I smiled and simply said, "You'll see my brothers, you'll see." They both chuckled lightly and their confusion only grew, but I'm looking forward to the show I'm about to give them.
I walked into the blacksmith's craftsman hall. A middle aged looking dwarf was hammering a piece of iron down into an ingot. I calmly approached the dwarf and said, "Senior please tell me if you have a forge available. I wish to practice my blacksmithing skill." The dwarf looked at me with a snort, and said, "An elf practicing blacksmithing; how laughable. However, I won't stop you. Take the stairs behind me up to the second floor. Room 216 is available for use. Now go! I have much work to do, and you've delayed me from my quota!" Shooing us away and tossing me a bronze key; the dwarf smith returned to hammering his ingot. I led my brothers up the stairs, and stopped outside of Room 216. I took in a slight breathe and inserted the key into the doors lock. Now we're inside let's get some work done!
I'd set up my eerie anvil, and put my hell flame into the forge. Holding my demonic looking hammer in my right hand, I walked over to the forge and placed the bone and claws I'd gained from the Kobold into it. I steadily raised the temperature as I willed the two mats to soften up and become pliable. Once they reached the desired flexibility and toughness, I quickly took out the bone and began to hammer it into the shape of a spear shaft. Once I'd folded and spread out the bone to the desired length, I then quickly brought out the claws and lined them up together. I then proceeded to hammer them together into one. I next began to shape the clump into the shape of a spear head. Before I had the two pieces to the spear, now to merge them. I used the special skill from my Hell Smith skill tree for binding items together in the forging process: Hades Knot. It's obviously not really a knot, it's just a fancy name for binding things together but it works. I simply said, "Now bind together Hades Knot!", and before I knew it a purple light shone throughout the room. Five seconds later the light went away, and a completed spear was before my eyes.
Ding! [Spear forged successfully, please choose a name for your first forged item.]
Suddenly, the game system notified me of my success and wanted me to name my spear. Of course I'm totally going to! Here goes: "I name this spear, 'Tears of Leonidas', only certain people will get this!" Suddenly my spear glowed with a faint holy light for a second, then it began to change.
Item Name: Tears of Leonidas
Item Type: Holy Spear
Item Rank: Uncommon(Upgradable)
Item Description: This spear is blessed with the tears of regret of a saint. These tears are the result of righteous repentance of evil action. Only the creator of this spear knows the true crime of this saint. Extremely affective against undead, demons, and slightly affective against fallen gods. This weapon is upgradable.
Okay, this weapon is pretty amazing for my first creation. To think I'd make a holy weapon with unholy items! I'm laughing so hard right now. Right Bartook and Zubarius! What are their reactions right now? I looked over at those two and burst out into loud laughter. They'd both fallen on their butts, and were currently staring at my creation in utter shock and disbelief. Zubarius was the first to recover of the two. "Draven, is this really your first time forging?! You just made an uncommon item on your first try! This Hell Smith of yours is beyond comprehension!" I looked over at Bartook and noticed him nodding in agreement. I told them it's because my class is unique to me, so it's a very special subclass with amazing perks. They both still were in shock, but they mostly calmed down. I said we should go work on their subclasses next, and they eagerly agreed. I smiled in relief as I finally managed to get out of this situation. I'm not ready to tell them my secrets just yet. I need to be sure they are true brothers first. Time will tell.
We spent a good four days with them working on pill making and alchemy. Before I knew it, our time in game was already half over. We've only got one week of in game time left until we have to log out. I decided it was best if we actually register our party with the Adventurers Guild. Needless to say they agreed. Now we're standing at the counter for registration as adventurers, and a beautiful green haired elf was taking care of us. We registered our party as 'Fulfilled Destiny'. This will be the name we will known by in the future, and it'll shake the gaming community for generations to come. "Let's see, an orc blood wizard, a dwarf shapeshifter, and lastly a halfling summoner. My, my, quite an intriguing party you have there." This was said by the gorgeous elf named Delria. I smiled warmly and nodded my head. Then I spoke up, "Yes that's us alright! We're ready to begin our adventure! Please give us the hardest quest you have at the Mortal Rank!"
Ranks in the Adventurers Guild were broken down lowest to highest as:
Mortal- New adventurers
Spirit- Slightly less green then Mortal Rank.
Angel- Experienced adventurers
Demigod- Veteran adventurers
God- Legendary adventurers
Arch God- Heroes of legend
Needless to say, of those absurdly high ranks there were none alive. Apparently the current highest rank adventurers are Demigod Rank, and there's only one party of them. Five people who's party is called, "Winds of Zeuth". Right anyway back to our present situation. The receptionist gave us an subjugation order for 50 Kobolds of any kind. The proof would be either their claws or bones. In other words it's clobbering time! Let's go kick some doggo ass!
And so we're now in the Woods of the Myrmidons. We're currently surrounded by well over 200 kobolds, and there are quite a few of the advanced species among them. I see a few generals, healers, assassins, knights, and many more. This is a Stampede! This means that there is a Kobold King present! Things just got even more exciting! Hell yeah! I didn't gain a level from the quest for Lady Lancia, but these mobs will definitely make up for it! Suddenly my quest notification updated.
Quest Name: Stampede! Save the City!
Quest Description: A stampede of monsters means to sack the city. It is your duty to protect its people. This is a forced event. You can't decline.
Quest Reward: 2 levels, and cooking subclass. Due to you already having a subclass, a new slot shall be created.
I looked over to the boys and asked what their rewards looked like. Surprisingly they were different. Bartook would get a pill recipe, and Zubarius would get a potion recipe. So, why do I get a cooking subclass?! Oh well, this could be a benefit to me in the future. I'd already summoned my vampire bat, and my berserker devilkin. I sent them out to do their thing, as I used my Hell Flame in the middle of the cluster of monsters. In a word, it was super affective. The screams of dozens of monsters filled the air as they were burned by my Hell Flame and then sent to Hell with the portal. That took care of about 50 or 60 of them. Meanwhile Zubarius was rampaging through the horde of Kobolds and rending their flesh with his mighty claws and fangs. Bartook had long since summoned his centipede and it was joining in on the massacre as well. My vampire bat, and berserker devilkin were flying through the enemies like a hot knife through butter. Suddenly, a loud angry roar overshadowed the battlefield. I looked up and saw a kobold decked out in chain mail armour, and carrying a huge two handed sword on his shoulder. This must be the Kobold King.
The reason the guy roared is because my vampire bat bit him on the neck, and my berserker devilkin punched him straight in the dick. Talk about a double whammy. Ouch. I feel your pain buddy, but unfortunately for you, today is the day you die! While my two summons held down the kobold king, I prepared another Hell Flame and Zubarius had rushed in with a mighty charge, and head butt the kobold king in the balls. Oh my God you guys are ruthless! The kobold king started actually crying in a high pitched voice. I finished my preparations, and everyone jumped away at my signal. I watched as the kobold burned in the flames before being cast into hell. A notification sent off in my head, and I knew we'd completed the forced event. Not only that, we have way more than enough parts for our subjugation quest. I smiled full of joy as I read the description of my new subclass.
Subclass Name: Hell's Chef
Subclass Description: You are the greatest chef in Hell. In fact, you are the greatest chef in all realms. This is a unique subclass, no other is like it. All food cooked by you taste way better than a normal cooking subclass. Special buffs recieved from food cooked by you.
Okay, what's up with all this cool yet evil stuff I keep getting?! Am I meant to go the route of the anti-hero?! Ugh I'm tired just thinking about it. Okay let's get back to the guild and turn in our quest. We definitely more than earned our rewards. Let's get it!
In no time at all we were standing in front of Delria, and looking at her shocked expression. "The three of you took out 200 kobolds of which there were many advanced species, and lead by a Kobold King?! This is big news! I must hurry to the Guild Master at once!" Oh crap. We're about to experience a cliche. I looked at my new brother's with a wry smile, but noticed the huge shit eater grins on their faces. "Draven this is it! This is our first claim to fame! With this we can build up our reputation, and reap all kinds of benefits!" I face palmed but smiled anyway. Let's build our legend then!
