Xia Ruoxin carried her daughter back to the ward and placed her on the bed before covering her with the blanket. Then, she started packing the stuff; and she was almost ready to be discharged. Her physical injury was okay, but some injuries would last forever. No one could give her daughter another kidney… and even more take back the lost one.
Chu Lui opened the door and stood in front of her.
Apologies would be of no use so he did not say them.
Xia Ruoxin knew he was there, but her motion did not stop as she folded the clothes one by one.
