Yaorui whipped her head around and hid the bandages inside of a drawer. She grabbed the first long-sleeved dress she could find and quickly slipped it over her head.
"I'm in here!"
Samuel followed the sound of her voice and followed it to the closet.
"What are you doing here?"
"I got up and noticed I didn't have any clothes on, so I came here to find some," she acted bashfully.
Yaorui could hear Samuel's footsteps nearing her, afraid that he would discover the bandages she stepped out and hugged him.
"You look beautiful in this dress,"
"All thanks to you, you filled the closet, did you not?"
"I did, and I don't regret a thing,"
"I have a question,"
"What is it?"
"How long was I asleep for?"
"About a month, and if you're wondering, we're in one of my parent's mountain homes in the swiss alps."
"Really?! Can I have a look outside?"
"Not yet, not until the bruises heal,"
"Then, can you give me a tour of the place?" Samuel hesitated.
That hesitation was all Yaorui needed to know that things weren't as simple as they seemed. She wasn't living here as Samuel's girlfriend, Yaorui was here as his captive.

Hu Angli's head felt heavy. Not because he was tired, okay, maybe that too, but it was mainly because of the headset he was wearing. Although it was useful against the loud swishing sounds of a chopper.
As of now, they have released about fifty helicopters to search the mountains. Zhang Maorong was leading a group on the ground as well as his twin sister Zhang Wenshi.
They had spent two weeks searching for Xiao Rui, and only managed to narrow it down to the edge of the mountains. According to his sources, someone had recently bought the land and did construction on the are. It was completed a few months back, right around the time the An family arrived.
How they snuck in underneath their noses is unknown.
The ground was carpeted with trees and bushes, this made it nearly impossible to see the land from an aerial view (the mist wasn't a big help either).
Though the entrance was most likely going to be on the ground, he was hoping to find some sort of energy source. For example, a solar panel or a hydro-turbine.
He already dispatched a team to explore the nearby water sources.
Please let it not be too late to save Xiao Rui...

It has been 12 days, 8 hours, 43 minutes, 26 seconds and counting, since Samuel had openly admitted to having kidnapped her.
In seventeen minutes, he will enter with a tray of carefully made breakfast only for her to smack it away and throw a fit asking to be released.
He would then purse his lips and attempt to coax her into a hug, which she would reject with force.
After being sure that Samuel had left and wouldn't return, she picked up an apple from the floor and made her way to the washroom to clean it.
Although the allergy was a bit silly, Samuel was allergic to fruits, and since the apple was a fruit, it was safe to say that it was the safest option.
Now that she thought about it, she was too stupid to not realize his obsessive behaviour. All the signs were right in front of her.
His over possessiveness and jealousy, the fact that he knew where she was at or going to every day. Although both emotions were normal in a relationship, both to the level of intensity that Samuel had displayed was a clear sign of an unhealthy mindset, but she was too infatuated to notice anything.
She could feel herself falling apart trapped inside the room. There were times when she is doing one thing, but then be doing another for who knows how long later. Her memory from those periods showed no recollection of any events. For all she knew, she could stab herself and not realize until after she had regained her senses.
At first, she thought it was the lack of food and nutrients, but later on, she came to the conclusion that it was her mental state that caused the blackouts.
Sometimes, it would happen during her meal times, the lingering after taste and her full stomach was good enough evidence of that. Samuel had never mentioned those times in front of her, he probably thought that she didn't know and didn't have to know.
It chilled her. Just a bit, to think about the things that could have happened during those times.
They started about three days ago and have been becoming more and more frequent as time passed. Not only that but longer as well.
Her anxiety was tearing her mind apart piece by piece, and the only thing that could stop it from taking over was freedom and...death.
But as of now, she had no one but herself to rely on, her family were god knows where, and her friends wouldn't find out until the day she was supposed to return to Beijing.
"Rui'er? Breakfast time," Her head snapped towards his voice.
There was no apple.
It looks like she'll be skipping breakfast today.
She noticed a flash of disappointment in his eyes, was it because she wasn't in a trance?
"I'm not eating," Her voice was cold and steady, she refused to meet eyes with him.
"At least take a bite," He had become wiser, he knew if he came too close then the food wood be knocked out of his hands one way or another.
"I'm not hungry,"
"But you're so frail, I'm afraid that if you don't eat, you'll die,"
"So what?"
Samuel's hands tightened on the handles of the tray, "If you don't eat then your wounds won't heal quickly,"
"That's fine, not like you're gonna let me go anyway,"
"AAARGH!" The tray of carefully made delicacies slammed to the ground with one cry.
"S-Samuel?"
Yaorui backed away from him.
T-this aura was terrifying! Could it be that Samuel had reached his limit?
All of a sudden, Samuel lunged at her, and with one motion, she was pinned to the bed staring straight into golden irises.
"Y-your eyes," she stuttered out.
"Face it, Rui'er! Nobody is coming to save you! It's just you and me!"
"That's not true!"
"What? You think that your friends have noticed that you're gone?! And newsflash! I'M NOT YOUR LILI! YOUR LILI IS DEAD!
"W-what? But, I thought..." Her eyes clouded with fright and utter dread.
"You should have been obedient and eat, don't blame for what is about to happen,"
And just like that, she was forcefully deflowered by someone who had mistaken for someone that was already gone.

The next day, she woke numb and lifeless the bruises and bites on her body felt as if they didn't exist. Her sense of time, and awareness seemed to be gone as well.
Now it seemed, as if she was in a constant trance, it was a neverending loop.
Not only that, but because she was no longer aware of her surroundings, she never opened her mouth, no matter how much she was coaxed, eventually things would repeat just as it did that day.
She no longer held any hope for survival, nor did she have the energy to end it all. It would be a matter of time before she died from either exhaustion, dehydration, malnutrition, or even all of them at once.
Maybe this bleak life wasn't so bad.
In another room, a young man watched her with a terrible expression.
He sobbed as he watched his beloved in her current state.
He wanted to stop hurting her.
But he couldn't. No matter what he did.
A girl with similar features walked into the room and laid a blanket over is shaking body.
"Don't cry gege, you still have me, don't you?"
Samuel lifted his head, "Of course, AnAn will always stay by my side," As the two embraced in the small room, the girl stared coldly at the other female on the screens.
'You will pay for making gege cry,'
'Sister,'

4 days later
3:28 am
The stars were visible in the night sky, it wasn't a common thing in China to see stars. It was supposed to a happy occasion, but as of now, Hu Angli was exhausted and dreadfully persistent on finding his soulmate.
"Young master, maybe you should take a break, have a nap, I can keep the copter running on my own,"
"No, it's fine, I won't rest until I find her,"
"The young miss is lucky to have you,"
"Promise me that you'll only love me,"
"I promise LiLi, you will be the only one for me in my entire life!"
"You promised,"
It's been two and a half weeks now, there was no telling what that bastard had done to his future wife. Every minute of every day, he prayed that no harm would come to her, but he knew that it was useless, An Samuel was not one to accept a loss.
"This is Zhang Maorong going out to lover boy, we have something," As if the word exhausted had never existed in his dictionary, Hu Angli jumped up and retrieved the walkie talkie from its stand.
"This is loverboy to MaoMao, wait for me," The co-pilot having heard everything checked the GPS for Zhang Maorong's location and immediately searched for a clearing nearby the area.
By the time they reunited with Zhang Maorong's team, a few other teams including, Wenshi's, were already there looking battle-ready.
An exchange of nods and eye contact and the rescue mission began.
Please, let it be not too late.
