As soon as Fang Wuping returned to her dorm, she threw her bloody clothes into the fireplace and started it up before entering the shower to rid her self of the now dried blood.
She sang along merrily to her playlist as she scrubbed away. Tomorrow she was going to make her first move on Long Ao.
Her plan was simple she'd find Long Ao, comfort him, while slowly getting closer to him, and eventually, they would become a couple then get married.
Fang Wuping was wise to bring the anesthesia, otherwise with the power and skill Wenshi fought with, her plan would have gone down the drain. She also gave that b*tch an illegal drug to increase her blood flow, hence causing Wenshi to lose blood faster. By the time she had left the crime scene, there was already a large pool of red liquid.
She cackled to herself.
Karma's a b*tch.
At this moment, Fang Wuping was proud as an eagle.
Poor her, she still did not know that her beloved was currently plotting her downfall. But a little happiness never hurt anyone. The happier you are, the worse your fall.

While Fang Wuping was gloating, Long Ao was to busy having a mental breakdown to formulate a plan to get revenge.
The doctors had already given him a small dosage of anesthesia to calm him down, but the effects of it were quickly wearing off. It had been 3, nearing 4 hours since Wenshi had entered the ER, and he was getting excessively worried.
All of a sudden thundering footsteps echoed down the hall as a young man made his way over.
"Not one minute after my surgery and I find out that a crazy man bawling his eyes out over a nearly dead lover is my one and only brother, Long Ao,"
Long Ao was not surprised or disturbed by his older brother's sudden intrusion. He honestly expected his brother to arrive sooner he had begun to worry about his brother, an hour after his arrival.
Shen Hui was a natural worry rat, always fussing over him and their siblings.
"Wenshi was attacked," Was all he had to say to shut his brother up.
Shen Hui looked at the ER doors and saw the 'IN USE' sign lit up. He nodded.
"Do you want me to call anybody?"
"Her brother, he should know about his sister's condition,"
"Anyone else?"
Long Ao shook his head.
"Need anything?"
"A coffee would be nice, a strong one, I'll need it if I'm gonna be here the rest of the night, maybe the rest of tomorrow too,"
Shen Hui pulled aside a nurse and asked her to grab one for him, the nurse nodded and left. It looks like her break would have to wait.
"She was right under my nose, I thought we were safe, I thought she was safe," A single tear fell down his cheek, the first of many to come. "It was bad. Blood, just everywhere. A whole pool you could splash around in. There were cuts and wounds everywhere on her. Scared the shit outta me. She wasn't even 30ft away, and I still failed to protect her!"
Shen Hui let his brother rant as he pulled out his phone to call Zhang Maorong.
It was nearing midnight right now, so he didn't think that Zhang Maorong would answer mush less look at test messages.
It took a few rings for Maorong to pick up.
"Hello?" His voice was sluggish from having just woken up.
"Hi, this is Shen Hui speaking from the hospital,"
Zhang Maorong perked up at the word hospital, "Is something wrong?"
"Your sister..."
"What about my sister?"
"She is currently in critical condition and is currently in the ER,"
"W-what happened!?"
"We suspect an attempted murder,"
"H-how?"
By now, Zhang Maorong had scampered out of bed and was on his way out with a light jacket and the first pair of shoes he could find on.
"We don't know yet exactly, but she was attacked while on a date in the ladies room,"
Zhang Maorong rushed onto the train and started to count the minutes it took to arrive at the medical campus.
In the background of Shen Hui's call, he heard someone call for more O negative blood.
His sister's condition was more serious. He felt himself slowly fall into an abyss of darkness.
"Tell me..." he paused, "...what's her survival rate,"
"It's...8%, her wounds are out of this world, and there is a shortage in O negative blood right now,"
~Medical Campus~
"Give me two minutes, I'll be right there, we have the same blood type!"
"Hurry,"
"We're out of O negative!" He heard someone yell in the background.
"I'm gonna head in to see if I can help, see you later,"
And with Shen Hui hung up and Zhang Maorong entered the bustling hospital.
"Does anyone here have O negative blood?!"
"I DO!" He raised his arms up, his chest heaving heavily.
The nurses quickly ushered him and one other person away from the reception area and plopped them in a chair and begun the procedure of drawing their blood.
"Take as much as you need, my sister's in there, I don't want to be alone,"
The nurse glanced up at him with a hint of pity and admiration in her eyes before quickly entering the needle.
"How much do you weigh, boy?"
"75 kgs,"
"We're gonna take 100ml from your body, you're going to feel faint after this, I suggest you don't move around too much after this."
"Thank you,"
______________
After 11 hours in the ER, Zhang Wenshi was finally pushed out of the room and to the ICU.
Long Ao, although exhausted, followed right behind until he was stopped at the door. He was told that for the patient's safety, he would be denied entry.
As he was about to leave to go to a room that his brother had made for him, he saw Zhang Maorong stumbling over. He was using the wall for support and was deathly pale.
"Sir! You shouldn't be up and about like this! This isn't good for your condition!"
Zhang Maorong ignored the nurse and locked eyes with Long Ao.
"YoU sOn Of A b*tCh!" He lumped over to Long Ao, "yOu DiD tHiS tO hEr!" Zhang Maorong clumsily threw a punch at Long Ao, who didn't even bother dodging, he deserved it.
"Second Young Master Li!"
"It's fine," Li Long Ao held up is hand to the growing crowd, "I failed to protect her, I deserve this,"
"Look at you," Zhang Maorong spit at him, "Being some goody two shoes. LOOK AT HER! SHE'S ON THE VERGE OF DEATH BECAUSE OF YOU! YOU ARE A F**KING BASTARD! YOU HEAR ME! THAT'S MY SISTER IN THERE! AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!"
Zhang Maorong was going berserk right now. He was screaming and yelling at Long Ao in his sleepwear. His hair a mess, his eyes swollen, his whole body was shaking with uncontrollable emotion, his skin was deathly pale although his eyes were bloodshot and two streams of salty tears down his face.
All of a sudden, he collapsed onto the cold hospital floor, the smell of disinfectant and the sight of Long Ao's guilt-filled eyes.
Li Long Ao watched. His face crumbling, his fancy suit was all ruffled and bloody, the blood-covered up is skin that was just as white as Zhang Maorongs. His tears were red, stained by the blood, his hair stuck up in all directions, and his eyes carried a hint of craziness, the rest of it brimmed with guilt, regret, self-blame, and uncontrollable grief.
"Haaaaaaa..." he let out the breath he didn't know he was holding then looked at the stunned crowd. The emotions varied from surprise to utter terror to sympathy and understanding. But his favourite was the face of utter loss from one particular woman in the crowd.
She was middleaged, dressed professionally, and although her face showed an expression of a worried mother, she looked as if she had stepped out of the Ford magazine.
Her hair was black with a single segment of grey hair, she had green eyes that he was all too familiar with. After all, those were the very same eyes that belonged to his one and only Wenshi.
It isn't every day you get to meet the mother of your beloved, is it? The world really hated him, didn't it? Letting him meet the mother now of all times.
Behind the woman, a crew of neatly assembled bodyguards with stone faces and an elderly man wiping his eyes with a pristine white handkerchief.
Li Long Ao made sure to make eye contact with the middle-aged woman before saying his next words, "I deserved this." And with that, he fell alongside the brother of his beloved and the son of the haggard-looking woman.
Her chest constricted into a familiar pull, she knew all too well.
All this while the victim laid sickly and unconscious inside of an intensive care unit.
Tubes and machines were her only life source and a window displaying the crowd of people.
Her mother and her stupid annoying twin brother that she loved just as much as she did her mother.
And then there was the man that she wanted to marry and grow old with. She'd be lying if she said she hadn't dreamt about what their children would look like or what their life would be like together.
Now, two bodies laid crumbled onto the floor of the hospital, a place where both life and death resided.
All because she was too weak to fend for herself and too stubborn to call for help.
