Gracing her up, Emily stormed in the hall.
Making a quick scan of the room, her long legs marched towards a seat which was more secured as people around it were the one who were simple minded, didn't expected to ask any questions and didn't intended in showing off unnecessarily.
Sitting in the corner of the room sipping her wine, she looked very aloof. While still drooling in herself, she heard someone calling her name.
'Hi Emily long time no see. How have you been?' asked Samuel.
Choking on her wine she responded with a cute smile 'Hello Mr. Ken. I am fine. How are you?'
'Hey why so formal? If also we didn't end up being best friends but still we are stranger-friends.'
'Stranger-friends?' questioned Emily
'Hmm, who meet only at such function, but were good friends before. The one who had lost that connection of thoughts that they shared before.'
'But for me a friend is always a friend. They don't change with time.'
'That is good to hear Emily. Hey come with me rather than sitting in this corner, let us see how everyone is being.' Samuel added.
After a little hesitation Emily said yes.
She looked at the man beside her; they would have not become friends without that rumor. The man, who helped her in her most difficult situation, took her side when everyone was against her.
It was a gloomy afternoon of Saturday and the campus lacked students. If not for Mrs. Stinson's special assignment Emily would have not been in the school.
In the corridor after completing her work, she saw group of people gaggling. As she passed from there, she heard Dina saying something to boil Emily's blood.
'Isn't that slut, who loves to be in headline and then behaves like innocent' and everyone started mocking Emily.
'Bitch you should know that I am his girlfriend. Better keep that it in your small head.' And she pulled Emily's hand towards the wall which caused Emily to fall down.
She was little scared, hurt and teary eyed when she looked towards them. While she was about to get up, Dina came forward to take grip on Emily's hand.
When they heard a man frowning like a storm and said with cold voice 'Stop this.' And went to help Emily.
That man who helped her was none other than Samuel Ken.
