"I have no idea why have we been summoned but I don't wish to go," Sam told Wei, petulantly.
Grandma Li had called up early on this Sunday morning and told Sam that she needed to come to the Li mansion along with Wei. They had something important to announce.
"Well, I don't think you can ignore a direct command from your grandmother. And I will be there right by your side, so why are you worried?" he assured her.
Though they had been married for more than eight months now, Wei was yet to confess his love to her. But Samantha didn't mind it at all because she could see it in his actions. The care which he showed towards her, whether it was when it came to her family, or even when they had faced disapproval from his mother regarding this wedding. He had told his mother to stay out of his business else she would find herself bereft of her son.
"Either you respect my choice or choose to walk away from my life," that had been his ultimatum.
