On her grandfather's birthday, Li Qin Yao clad in a pastel blue empire waist dress. The soft material flow as she walked, and under the light, the skirt shimmered.
Once Li Qin Yao arrived downstairs, a servant walked towards her and informed that her grandfather was waiting for her in his study room.
Li Qin Yao could guess the reason her grandfather wanted to see her. She followed the old servant to Li Ren Xin's office and knocked twice. Once her grandfather gave her permission to enter, Li Qin Yao walked in with a smile.
"Grandfather, happy birthday," Lin Yao spoke a few auspicious words.
"Thank you," Li Ren Xin smiled as he pointed towards the sofa.
Li Qin Yao took a seat and waited for her grandfather to speak.
Li Ren Xin was not hasty to speak his mind. He went to the side table to brew some tea. Once the tea was ready, Li Ren Xin poured two cups of tea for both of them. He invited Li Qin Yao to drink and waited.
