A Few Days Later
Saksham was sitting on his study table, solving some problems while occasionally taking a glance at the news broadcasting on his phone. After the fight that happened a few days ago, major things had happened. When the madness was happening that night, many people had tried recording it with their cell phones. They couldn't get a clear view due to the distance and the darkness, but they were able to faintly capture some things that subverted their natural views of the world. Some people had even gone to their terrace and started live video, showing off the horror that was happening not far from them. From the falling of lightning to the rising and falling of earth, they were all vaguely captured.
Surprisingly, IOEA took no hard measures to put down these videos or even live videos. The photos and videos just remained on the internet for the world to see. Even the small valley that was formed after the final outburst of [Immortal's Retaliation] was barely covered up. When the news channel came to the scene the next day, they were able to witness the final effects of the monstrosity that Saksham had committed. They started broadcasting news and even interviewing the people that had recorded or tried to record whatever they had seen. The interview went as such:
Interviewer: "Hello, did you see what happened here last night?"
Witness: "Ah yeah. Even in the dark of the night, I was able to see it. At that time, I had gone to the terrace to digest my food with a little stroll, but suddenly I saw the originally clear weather change to terrible gloomy weather. I was surprised at first, but when I saw that a huuuggggeeee bolt of lightning suddenly fell on the field ahead, I was shocked speechless. Even blinded for a second or two. I had never seen a bolt of lightning that thick falling from the clouds, ever."
Interviewer: "So, What happened after that?"
Witness: "After that, all I was able to see was that suddenly there were giant slabs of rock standing straight in the field. They were so big, that even though I was a little distance away, I was clearly able to see their faint outline from here even in dark. But here is a surprising part, that field has only been filled with weed (not the one you think), and some stray animals."
"There had never been something like that standing there ever. They just appeared there suddenly that night, and then they fell all together at a place. After a second, there was a deafening explosion in the field. Then, suddenly a gust of wind with dust hit my face. I had to look away for a few seconds, but just when I was about to turn around, I heard an even more earth-shattering explosion from the field."
Interviewer: "What was that explosion from?"
Witness: "Miss, if you ask me, I would say that it was definitely an atom bomb that exploded in that field. Just from the sound of that explosion, my ears had gone numb. But as I am still living and talking to you means that it was not an atom bomb. It was something else, far scarier."

These sorts of interviews were being held by channels after channels. They were constantly pulling up the videos that had been recorded by various people, showing what was vaguely visible in them. But whatever it was showing, was enough for people to freak out. Even the small valley that had been formed in that field and the crater was enough for people to realize that something horribly wrong had taken place there. But all this was not what caused the biggest outrage. The biggest outrage was caused when 1 interviewer was asking a witness about what he saw, and the result he gave was:
"I saw a bunch of people fighting there. And they were not fighting with firearms or grenades. They were using their fist and weapons while some were shooting out strange things from their hands. Although it sounds unbelievable, I saw it was them who the-"
And suddenly the broadcast ended there. This abrupt cut in the broadcast made people realize that there was something really fishy. People @ the news channels at various social media sites, asking why they suddenly cut the broadcast there. But all the news channels stayed silent regarding this. People got frustrated and started making reels, TikTok's, and even other things to discuss this topic more. Some even @ the government officials regarding this but surprisingly, no one had anything to say about this, be it the government in power or the opposition parties.
After 2 days, General Akash Rawat held a press conference to address some things. In his press conference, he said:
"A while ago, we got the news that some highly dangerous terrorists groups had entered India through illegal ways. Their plan has not yet been understood, but 2 days ago, all of them gathered in a big abandoned field in Indirapuram. Due to some reasons, they started fighting. During the fight, they resorted to many kinds of weapons as well as explosives and that's why the people living around there heard the sounds of explosions. But after the fight, most of them died. 3 of the leaders also perished in the series of explosion"

He addressed a few other things before he stood up and left, refusing to entertain any sort of questions from the news channels. As this was a major thing that had intrigued millions of people, many of them were even watching it live. But after the press conference ended, they still weren't able to get the answer to some of the questions.
Which sort of explosive makes the ground rise in giant slabs? Which sort of explosive is so dangerous that it could create that big of a crater in the field but no one saw flames or smoke during the night of it exploding? And what about the small valley that had formed in the giant field? As none of these things were answered during the press conference, it made people even more sure that something fishy was going on.
The reason given could still be accepted if so many witnesses hadn't come out and given almost exact descriptions about what they saw and if the pictures of the state of the field hadn't been on the internet for all to see. So, some people barely accepted the reason given by the general for now while others got even more suspicious about the whole incident. So, people started discussing it more and more. Some said it was aliens and the government were trying to hide them while others said that it was magicians. These sorts of discussions were happening all around the country. But as there were no more topics being covered regarding that, the heat started to die down slowly.
The other major thing that happened was that IOEA captured the remaining people left of Alex and William's group, while the other groups of smaller countries were given an ultimatum to leave the country in 2 days or they would be arrested too. The whole situation was even reported to the United Nation For Extra-ordinary Affairs. The joint action taken by the 3 people was condemned. As they were already dead, the associations they belonged to were severely warned to not repeat those types of actions again. One of the spokespeople there even said:
"The current times were very dangerous for India as the next wormhole could open in India. The manpower they needed would be intense and during such times, such a wile action from England, America, and China is a disgrace to everyone here. And let's not forget the threat is not only to India but to the entire world as long as the wormhole keeps on opening in the future. If we start killing each other at a time like this, then I am afraid humanity's future is doomed."
And rightfully so, the spokesperson was right. Over the years, as the wormholes have appeared, the monsters coming out of them get stronger and stronger. And this has been a worry for many people around the world. What would happen if one day, they can't kill the monsters coming out of the wormholes? What are they going to do then?
After the meeting was over, UNEA asked England's Organization of Extraordinary Affairs (EOEA), the Chinese Organization of Extraordinary affairs (COEA), and the American Organization of Extraordinary Affairs (AOEA) to compensate IOEA as an apology. The 3 organizations agreed regarding this.
And after the meeting truly ended, news spread around the Extraordinary world that a person called Asura killed 3 peak [Elemental Kings] alone. The images of the aftermath of the fight between the 4 people spread everywhere like wildfire. Anyone who saw it took in a cool breath. The state of the abandoned giant field was terrible to look at. People couldn't even imagine what sort of power was needed to instantly kill 3 [Elementary Kings] while destroying the field to that degree.
And so, rumors started spreading about a demon that lived in India called Asura. More the rumor spread, more different versions of the Demon Asura spread around. Some called him a man-eater, some said that he gains power after drinking the blood of the people he killed, etc. Although it was not certain to people that which version of these rumors is the real Asura, one thing that was certain was that India had a very strong powerhouse now. Strong enough to put fear into the hearts of the people looking at India with a covetous look.
Meanwhile, Saksham also received a phone call from Avinash himself. He seemed happy about his power growth. He told Saksham that all the forces have withdrawn from India now. For now, no one would even dare to set a foot in their country with bad a heart. After hearing this, Saksham was relieved. He then asked about why all the forces gathered in one place. Although he had already guessed it himself, he still thought it would be best if he confirmed it too. And Avinash's answer didn't surprise him in the slightest.
"That night, our sensors suddenly sensed very unusually high energy surging somewhere around that area. It was so high that, we hadn't seen anything like it. It disappeared not long after, but that was enough to make people go crazy after it because that was clearly a heavenly item. Just as we humans have gained special powers due to the [Aura] in the air, there are some other things that can absorb [Aura] and gain some new functions too. Such cases have appeared again and again in the past and every time such item has appeared, crazy bloodshed has also happened."
"This time, fortunately, you were there. Although it still resulted in a lot of casualties, at least ordinary people were unharmed during all this. This is what matters the most. You have my gratitude, Asura."
Saksham knew that the "heavenly item" was actually his [Tree of Life] that had left his body for a little while and upgraded to the next level. During that time, the sensors brought by the other forces picked upon the energy signals and started moving towards the signal area at the same time. But when he took the [Tree of Life] back in his body, all the energy signs disappeared, making all the forces stand cluelessly on the giant abandoned field. If he had not taken the [Tree Of Life] in his body, probably everyone would have come to him and saw the scene of the [Tree of Life] going inside his body. That would have been a bit troublesome for him. Saksham shook his head and threw these thoughts at the back of his head.
After that, Avinash talked to Saksham about the current situation of IOEA and the Awakened ones in India. After a little chatting, Avinash invited Saksham at HQ once again, but Saksham refused politely and told him that he would visit later as he was a little busy now. Avinash heard this and hung up the phone regrettably.
