Maple High was the oldest and most prestigious high school in the whole city. It was established several decades ago, even before the small town developed into a big city, and had contributed highly to the education of the population of the city. But it almost ceased to exist about a decade ago due to the lack of infrastructure, teachers, and students.
Parents were once unwilling to send their children to a school that didn't meet the standards of high school.
