Synopsis
Imagine that from one moment to another in front of your eyes appears a notification and suddenly the most common things for you give you experience and help you to become stronger, faster and smarter? This is the story of Brett. Who after an incident began to see his world in a different way. This is my first novel and the first time I write for the purpose of entertaining a group of people.

Chapter 1 - prologue

*Thunder Rumbling*

"Looks like there's gonna be a big storm, I'd better call Mom to see if she's all right." Brett said to himself, beginning to feel worried.

Brett dialed his cell phone and tried to call his mother, but couldn't get her to take the cell phone and answer him, obviously this didn't worry him much as it was two o'clock in the morning, and he was about to continue playing his favorite video game.

The lights in his house suddenly started flashing indicating that the tension was low due to the storm.

"Gosh, I hope I can continue, the event is almost over."

Brett had been hunting and collecting points in the virtual reality video game world for three days in a row, his character called "Pathfinder" was level 3 so it was very difficult for him to hunt down the enemies indicated in the event.

Each character in the game required an incredible amount of experience to make them reach a new level and in two days Brett only managed to reach level three on the game.

The lights of the house again began to flicker and Brett arrived in his room putting his hands on the virtual reality helmet and placing it on his head, but at that moment Brett's vision became total darkness at the same time as a lightning could be heard.

It all turned into sudden darkness for Brett and a screen appeared in front of him, it was the same game interface that he had been playing for the last few days. Although his character had returned to level one again so Brett didn't take it very well.

Brett could hear a female voice along with the sound of a person running around in high heels, but he was unable to see anything as he was immediately blinded by a light that appeared as soon as Brett opened his eyes.

The bed Brett was lying on felt harder, very different from his virtual reality camera which allowed him to lie down and play the game comfortably.

"Where am I, isn't this my room?"

Brett tried to get out of bed, but immediately felt as if a pair of hands were leaning on his chest and pushing him back onto the bed.

"You must lie down young man, you could die and you need to rest."

The voice of an older man said, slightly explaining the situation, but Brett continued to resist being put to bed until he felt a strange stabbing pain in his right shoulder.

Brett continued to resist for a few more seconds until he began to feel his body become heavy and his eyelids began to close.

"Uggnnhhh."

Again the darkness took hold of Brett and a notification appeared in front of Brett.

*Bing*

Brett was very confused because he had barely played the game for a couple of days and didn't know that winning resistance was that way.
