Quinn dialed a number; Cassandra was excited to see her parents. In her memories, they had already died three years ago. Years she was alone and lonely.
Tears ran down her cheeks; Quinn noticed her silent cry. He dried them and fought the urge to shower kisses on her face.
"Hello, Mama Hannah?"
"Quinn, is there any problem? How was our daughter?"
"She's fine, Mama. But, she heard us talking about the other life, and now she learns the truth."
"Oh, then, does she know about us being alive?"
"I told her since she learned the truth. You guys can come over to see her. Also, I have some important matters to tell you and Papa Landon."
"Okay, Quinn. We miss our daughter. We wanted to see her, although it wasn't our Cassandra. We will come over now in a minute."
Hannah ends the call. He looked at Cassandra, who kept wiping her eyes when tears did not stop plummeting.
