"I don't believe it," Levi quickly answered.
"I don't believe it either," Shun stated. "However, if you keep insisting, maybe we did end up tragically like our ancestors."
Levi thought for a moment, then laughed. "Should we really have to talk about this? I don't see any relevance about Cassie in what you are pointing. Forget on scaring me because I won't buy it."
"I did not. I just wanted you to see... if you keep insisting on intervening in my plans, either we ended up killing each other or putting Cassandra in real danger, and Julius Kang successfully killed her. Is that what you wanted to happen?"
Levi did not answer. He felt his Butler's hand on his shoulder. He understood what he was trying to convey. Pete is reminding him of his uncle. He lost the woman he loved because he chose to pursue her even in a tragic way.
