The rest of my weekends went by drastically long with nothing to drool over on and Monday was meh.
'Just five minutes before the last bell rings and school will finally be over.'
I let out a long sigh as I drooped on my seat looking over the window on my left, not really paying attention in class.
There was nothing much to learn since I already knew the early lessons from last year. And sitting on a wooden seat all day long hurt my butt. My butt has even taken the surface shape of my seat - flat. And it was starting to burn, too.
"Hey look, isn't that Cha Daewoo-sunbae?"
I flinched.
"What? No way it really is him. What's he doing outside?
My ears itched with all the silent ruckus of my female classmates, one seating next to me and the other in front of her.
"Maybe he's waiting for someone."
I turned my head towards the other side of the room and saw Cha Daewoo past the door, leaning on the corridor veranda, watching me with his hands in his uniform pants pockets.
"His girlfriend maybe?"
"What? That's impossible."
'Did he really have to be on the perfect spot?'
Even if I was at the far end of the other side of the room, he managed to be that noticeable.
He dashingly smiled and waved like a good boy.
I immediately ducked covering my right peripheral view with my right hand, hoping I could completely hide from his sight. But who was I kidding, he already recognized and greeted me in a distance.
'Gah! That bastard Cha Daewoo!'
I wanted to keep a low profile but realizing how popular he was only now, would blow my damn cover. The fact that I repeated a year, my classmates were those of from junior highs and mostly didn't knew who I was or remembered who I was from first day's introduction, which I am in favour of, and if they knew I was involved with Cha Daewoo...
Ding!
Boom!
Zap!
Kapeesh!
Poof!
Plip!
Plop!
Clang!
This guy, Cha Daewoo....really.
"Oh my gosh, did you see that? Cha Daewoo-Oppa waved at me. His smile was so gorgeous"
"Don't be delirious."
Oh, these girls just make me wish that Cha Daewoo was really looking for them and not me
The school bell rang off and students rushed to leave the room right after our English teacher left the room.
'Now's my chance.'
Escape 101 in order.
I swung my almost-empty backpack over the top of my head. I blend in the crowd as I kept a lookout at Cha Daewoo. Girls were starting to flood him and he was busy searching, surely, for me.
"Sneer! Thank you Cha Daewoo fans!" I made it out of the room, picking up the pace despite the crowd on the corridor.
"Dan Hyo-Rin wait!"
'Shoot! Why did he have to shout out my name?!'
I felt the whole buzzing corridor stop but I kept my stride long and fast like my life depended on it.
'Don't look back, they say it's weird' I Rio stan.
"Hey! Stop!"
No!
I ain't stopping.
Just a few more strides and I turned on my right to sets of stairs. I scurried climbing down the stairs to the ground floor and made my way to the school gate.
I eased up a little and catch up my breath. I was sure I lost him and felt relief for a second.
But when I attempted to look back...
"Crap!"
Cha Daewoo was heading my way full speed. He looked like a bull chasing down a damn matador and I am that freaking muleta!
"Dan Hyo-Rin!"
'That's why you should never look back!'
I started running off again and made it past the school gate and turned left on the sidewalk. I pushed through the civilians in the sidewalk and apologize when I accidentally ran over them. But the gap between us didn't get any wider.
He was closing in and I was starting to slow down since I never had an athlete's stamina to keep a good distance. Curse this weak body!
I looked back and saw him only an arms-length away from me. He reached out his arm trying to grab on to me but I forced myself to run faster once more.
"Oh crap! Oh crap! Oh crap!"
He missed when he tried to grab on my shoulder. But he caught my bag instead.
"Oof!" All the air left my lungs from the sudden yank of my bag as I end up butt-first on the pavement of the streets.
Oww...
"Ugh! How embarrassing..." I got stared at by people passing by. And the culprit didn't even try to help me up. I was in pain rubbing my butt-off as I stood up, breathing heavily while giving him the stink eye.
Cha Daewoo only watched me as he catches his breath while still holding onto my backpack.
"You know" breathed heavily, "Running away from a sunbae is downright rude, especially if it's a hobae that's trying to escape."
"Sorry to break it to you but" I drew back my bag from him, "formality now is not in my vocabulary, especially to sunbae like you."
"Haha, I figured that much." He rolled his eyes. Wow, I did not expect he could be sassy and sarcastic at the same time.
I grumbled, "Shut up" as I wore my backpack on.
"You do know we have a meeting after class today, why were you trying to escape?"
"You saw how popular, did you not?" He looked at me indifferently and confused.
"If I get mixed up back there, my peaceful life would be over."
"Oh," A chill ran down my spine from the icy look he was giving me. He slowly took a step towards me while I took a step back. I didn't know I was holding my breath this whole time until I gasp from the feel of a concrete wall behind me.
'A dead end!'
Thud!
His right palm created a dull sound when he banged it on the wall beside my head. The motion was too sudden I didn't have time to react but my body completely turned to stone.
He towered over me and an evil smirk curve up his lips.
Our eyes locked, "You make me..." he lift up his other hand. His fingers played the ends of my uniform ribbon, "want to ruin yours tenfold than how you've done mine."
Honestly, I'd love this whole kabedon scene going on here but... no!
Because I am 'not' a guy. LOL!
"Eeek!"
He suddenly grabbed me by the collars of my uniform. I held on to his arm and tried to pull his grip off of me. He looked like was about to beat me up to a pulp.
"You want that right?"
Only realization hit me now.
Cha Daewoo was a dangerous two-face ass.
