"Princess Lingchen," Prince Jing greeted as he stopped in front of her. He glanced towards the crowd enjoying the night feast before and continued. "The night is still early, don't tell me that you are going back now?"
"I overate. I was going for a short walk. Prince Jing, you should join the feast first and enjoy the festivity," Princess Lingchen said. She nodded and stepped forward before the prince spoke again.
"I heard that the real reason His Majesty invited the princes to join the spring hunt was to let you choose one of them as your husband."
Princess Lingchen paused and turned around. "Really?" she glanced at the princes not far away from where they stood and asked, "Prince Jing, do you have any advice for me regarding this?"
Prince Jing watched the princess for a few seconds longer before he spoke. "Your Highness, why does it feel like you're treating me with hostility recently?"
