'Hold It Against Me' is the first single from her upcoming seventh album and it reminds me of the some of the songs from Britney's catalogue such as Womanizer, Gimme More, Toxic and Radar. It was produced by Martin and Luke which explain why it sounds a bit similar to some of the songs in Kesha's 2009, Animal which also produced by them.

This is verrrrry Britney. Lyrically, it is sexy and seductive but there was not much difference from her previous album (Circus 2008 and Blackout 2007). This will be one of the biggest club hits this year with catchy chorus, the unique electro pop sound and the genius combination of Euro techno groove. Honestly, there's nothing new about the new release and I gotta feeling that Britney plays it safe here but still it delivers enough haunting Dance song for all the dance crazes out there.

I can't wait to hear the whole album in March!

3 ½ out of 5 from me!
