I haven't seen him in six years, but overtime, I forgot about him. I always wondered if he kept the stuffed animal I gave him. Now, I am 15 and my birthday was a few days ago. It was the same as every other birthday, a book, some clothes, and a bit of makeup.
In the morning, I got up, put on my school uniform, grabbed my bag, and went downstairs. I put my bag down as I went to the kitchen and I see my mom and dad at the table along with my food. I sat down and greeted my parents with a, "Good morning Mom," and a "Good morning Dad."
I was starting to eat my food, when my dad announced, "We are eating out at a restaurant tonight with an old friend of mine."
"Okay Dad," I replied. As I finished eating, I got up, grabbed my bag, put on my shoes, and said goodbye to my parents as I walked out of the house.
I ran all the way to school and made it with only one minute left until class. I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings when I accidentally bumped into someone. I fell to the ground and the person I bumped into helped me up. "I am so, so sorry! I wasn't paying attention while running to class," I apologized.
"It's okay. You should head to class before you get in trouble," he said.
"Okay, thank you for helping me up," I said before taking off to, hopefully, make it to class on time. In the end, I still made it to class late. As I entered the classroom I said to my teacher, "I'm really sorry I was late."
"You're fine, just don't be late again, okay?" the teacher said.
"Okay," I replied and walked to my seat. As the teacher started teaching, I was thinking about what happened this morning, all day.
After school, I walked home and greeted my parents as I walked into the house. "Don't forget that we are going out to eat in an hour," my mom reminds me.
"Okay mom." I went to my room and picked out a dress. It was a navy blue embroidered lace halter top with a lilac colored floor length tulle skirt. It was my favorite dress and was perfect for the occasion. After I put it on, I curled my hair and put it into a half bun. Then, I carefully did my makeup and put on my navy blue high heeled sandals. When I walked out to the living room, my parents were already there waiting for me so we immediately left the house and headed to the restaurant.
