When we left the house we were only walking around and talking. After some time I heard some kind of noise coming from the bushes next to us. The next thing I saw was a pack of wolves coming out, and I grabbed Pj's hand and ran away. I was running away for my life and holing onto Pj's hand as tightly as I could not wanting to lose him. After running for awhile I looked behind me to see if the wolves are there, and I didn't see them there; so I stopped running and tried to catch my breath. "Did we lose them?" I asked Pj.
"I thinks so." He answered back.
"So what do you wanna do now?"
"I don't know. That's up to you because your my alpha now."
"What do you mean by your alpha?"
"Your the one who saved me, Taught me, and clothed me. You deserve nothing less then my loyalty for what you have done."
"I don't need your loyalty. No offense or anything I just did what anyone in my position would do. I just did the right thing. It wasn't anything special or anything like that."
"I don't think anyone else would do what you did to me. I'm positive that anyone else would've attacked me on the spot. Others wouldn't care about me like how you did. Other people would see me as a threat and attack me on the spot."
"I don't think that's true. You didn't get the chance to meet the people I know, and the people I know wouldn't attack you. The people are kind and caring; so I'm sure that you would be saved by someone else if they found you instead of me."
"Fine you win this one alpha, but I know that I'm right."
"Whatever you say. Let's just go home for now okay?"
"OK."
So we started to leave the woods and go home and then the same pack of wolves come out. My first instinct was to run but then Pj stopped me. He said "Can you please let me handle this?"
"If you say so, just don't die. OK?" I agree still on edge a bit. Then Pj got on all four and started to growl at the other wolves. I was confused and wondering what he was doing, but then I remembered that the way he is now is the way I found him in the field.
As Pj continued to growl at the wolves I was standing in the back watching him. The longer the wolves stayed there the louder Pj growled at them. Eventually he got so loud that the other wolves got scared and ran away. "That was close"
"No it wasn't close at all. I had the win the entire time. I won this time only because this time I had something I had and wanted to protect. I had to be useful some how especially since I was thrown out of my old pack because I was just dead weight." He said as he interrupted me.
"You didn't have to do that. You know that we could've just ran away like last time."
"I know that. I just wanted to prove to you that I can be strong and not useless. So I guess you can say that I had to prove myself to you."
"Well I say that you did prove yourself very worthy. So I would like you to follow me forever, until the day I would die."
"Yes alpha."
"Call me Ray ok?"
"Yes al- I mean Ray."
"You don't have to be that stuck up and formal with me. Just be yourself and be normal" I said laughing a bit at Pj for being so formal.
"What's so funny?"
"It's just that I have never been talked to so formally before. It was just a little weird for me. Especially if that person is the one that saved my life."
"I didn't to save your life" he said looking away a bit blushing.
"That's cute. You're blushing you know that?"
"I'm not cute!" He tried to remarked with his face face all red.
"Yes you are, your face is all red!" I told him while laughing at the fact that he was acting cuter the more he blushes and denies the fact that he's cute.
"Ugh whatever lets just go home okay?"
"Fine" I answered well I pet his head for a good job. As we walk home I started to fell something in my chest. It was weird because I never felt this before. The more and more we walked together I started to realize that I might have fallen for Pj. I thought to myself that this might mean the road ahead is going to be fun and interesting.
