Caliana Owens POV
"Caliana! Look out!" I hear my best friend shouting at me. As I turn, I come in contact with the volleyball at full force. I fall to the ground with a loud thud. My eyes start to close as I hear faint footsteps approaching me.

My eyes start to slowly open. I look around to realize that I'm in the school nurse's office. I hear a soft voice speaking to the nurse. I smile noticing it's Lily. I groan in pain as I try to sit up. I hear footsteps coming towards me. "Hey Cali, Stop moving! You're going to hurt your head!" Lily said with a demanding tone. My body stills itself as I obey her command. 'What the hell?!' I thought to myself. She stands in front of me with a soft smile. "How are you feeling? Does your head hurt?" I nod at every single thing she says as I try to find my voice. "I'm fine." I said with my voice hoarse. She touches my forehead with a motherly touch as I swat her hand away. "I said I'm fine." I said as I get up, stumbling a bit. She quickly comes to my aid. "I told you Lils I'm fine." I said as I walk past her and out of the nurse's office. As I walk out, An intoxicating scent fills my nostrils. "Mate!" My wolf purrs. Oh did I mention I was a werewolf? My father is the Beta of the Starlight pack and my mother is the Beta Female. Which makes me the Beta Female in line. I haven't trained since last week so I'm pretty rusty. Anyway, I follow the scent as I end up right in front of a tall handsome guy. I stand awestruck as he waves his hand in front of me. "Earth to mystery girl." He says in a deep sexy voice. 'Where did that come from?' I thought. I shake away my thoughts as I look up at him. "Hi, My name's Caliana Owens. What's your name? Are you new?" I said without thinking. "I'm Aaron. Aaron Quinn. And yes I am new." Hold on a minute. Did he say Aaron Quinn? "Is your father Gregory Quinn?" I say with a stunned expression. He leans forward, whispering in my ear. "Are you a werewolf too?" I step back with a swift nod as my female parts tingle. "U-uh..Yeah. I am." He let out a throaty chuckle as the bell ring signalling us to our next class. "Looks like I'll be heading to gym. See you around Mate." He said with emphasis on mate as he walks off, leaving me standing in the middle of the hallway with a broken nose and a thumping heart.
