Chapter 144 - My feelings for you are stronger

*UNEDITED*

She seems to be losing track of the beautiful memories they shared before. Since they don't do this often, whenever they do, the memory is very special. Lyn was still immature when she gave her first time away. Back when she was a Princess, Lyn didn't know the meaning of being intimate or giving herself to another person. The couch produced sounds of shaking.

Despite her bravery, she felt a bit nervous. Quite some time has passed since they did it. Kazuya cupped her cheeks. "I won't hurt you."

"I know." Lyn replied. She knew this better than anybody, if it is this person he would not harm her.

Kazuya seemed to hesitate too, but he suddenly covered her mouth with his. It started off as a light and normal kiss. But after a few minutes, it quickly escalated. He pried her mouth open and put his tongue inside. Their tongues intertwined and Lyn felt her face become sweaty. She moaned softly.

"Ahh."

'Since when could Kazuya kiss like this?' Lyn didn't know how to react to her husband's new way of kissing. She already noticed that something was different about him, but she didn't think much of it. Lyn suddenly felt stupid. Even though this isn't the first time they kissed, right now she felt very nervous and self-conscious.

Maybe she should have bathed first? When was the last time she took a bath, she must smell.

She felt light-headed with lack of air due to the kiss. She wanted to break away for a moment but Kazuya did not intend to stop, judging from his movement inside her mouth. 'Stupid.' Even though he hesitated a few minutes ago, he isn't holding back at all.

After a few minutes had passed he finally showed mercy on her and stopped kissing her. Lyn thought it was over but he moved his lips to her chest.

.....

"A--are you an idiot?" Lyn exclaimed as she hit him. Her entire body felt weak, her legs seemed to turn into jelly since she couldn't move them. So they simply laid down on the couch, her face buried in his chest. Kazuya's arms wrapped around her waist.

Kazuya laughed. "Sorry my wife, you know even I get pent up."

How could he say that with that stupid smile on his face? She felt his hands on her hair and Lyn sighed in content.

"I can't work now because of you."

"That's good, you need a break."

'A break huh?' "Are you ready to go back?"

"I'm prepared to get scolded by our favourite general." Kazuya winked.

Lyn rolled her eyes. "Don't give Teo a hard time anymore."

"I don't want to hear that from you. He must be worried sick since you ran off like that."

Her sweat fell. "I think I'm going to get scolded too."

"You were very careless leaving like that. But it's my fault. I missed you a lot."

Her gaze softened at his sincere words. "I missed you too."

"I missed you, but if you ever want to return to Rhys, just tell me."

At that comment her eyes widened. His question startled her. What is he talking about? After what they just did, how could he mention something like that? "Would you let me go that easily?"

"Yes."

Anger flashed through her eyes and she immediately turned around, so she no longer faced him. Lyn wanted nothing more than to get up and leave. But with the current state of her body, it wasn't possible.

"Do you know why?" Kazuya mumbled. "It's because I know how much you liked him."

At his words Lyn could only sighed. 'Why is he so sharp?'

"Yes, that's true. Back when I was a Princess I liked Rhys a lot." Lyn admitted. "I liked you Kazuya, but my feelings for him were stronger."

"Yeah."

"But you know something? Back when we first became married you treated me very well. I learned to love you more. I still like him, but my feelings for you are stronger. So I want you to stay Kazuya."

Kazuya suddenly changed their positions so he was now on top of her again. She wonders when did this person start looking like a man in her eyes? Was he always this masculine before? Even if it is stupid, Lyn felt very nervous and looked away from him. Kazuya however cupped her cheeks.

"Is that true Lyn? What you said just now."

"Yes."

"I always saw you as beautiful before, but now something has changed. Did you notice it too?"

"Kazuya."

Kazuya bent down and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "I wont let anything bad happen to you. Sorry Lyn, do you mind?"

Meanwhile in one of the rooms in the manor, the first Prince of the Ichinose family Ralph was having a hard time calming Rhys down. Unfortunately that Melissa woman fell asleep already, so there was nobody else who could stop Rhys from drinking away.

"It's not like you to be so careless." Ralph pointed to the wound on his shoulder. "When you said you wanted to take a walk, was getting into a fight part of that?"

"Can I be bitter?"

Bitter about what? Ralph wanted to argue but held himself back. He understood that Rhys has always loved Lyn. But Lyn already chose Kazuya. Rhys needs to accept that already. He can't continue this way forever. It would be a waste if his bloodline died out because he can't get over Lyn.

While most mages would choose a disciple early on. Ralph was the type of person who waited for the right person to appear before him. During his travels, he met the young boy named Rhys and then later on he encountered Princess Lyn. Ralph understood that if it were these two then he could pass on his teachings. He was still young then but he feared that something may happen to him, so it relieved him when he found those two. Ralph treasured them both deeply, that's why he understood. The man named Kazuya is very important to them.

A few years back he was biased and wanted his disciples to end up together. As their master nothing would please him more knowing they were in good hands. He saw how much they cared for one another. So it would not be a marriage without love. But he noticed something strange about Lyn. She not only liked them both but she seemed vaguely afraid of something. Lyn purposely kept a wall between herself and those two boys despite her feelings. To this very day Ralph never discovered what it was, but maybe now he could find out.
