Mist Kingdom Castle, Courtyard
The sound of people rushing back and forth filled the courtyard; people busy making preparations. The reason for this sudden chaos was because of the advisor's announcement about holding a jousting tournament. They immediately sent invitations out to neighboring kingdoms, none declined. Miley always found that strange. Do these people have nothing better to do?
"What are you so dissatisfied about my dear disciple?"
Miley found a corner and since then remained there, hunched up, with a deep scowl on her face.
When she heard the news this morning, she was anything but pleased.
"But Master Teo, it's obvious what the purpose of this tournament is. It's a distraction tactic."
"I'm glad you are learning the ways of the castle. But, I agree with this one. While it's unusual, you seldom get sent out to the field regardless of your talents. I will not question our Queen."
Miley sighed; this is one thing she disliked about her master. His loyalty towards the Queen was on a whole different scale. Sure she was loyal to the Queen too. However, Master Teo's loyalty is something else.
"I'm not questioning her, but I wish she would stop treating me like a child."
"But you are a child." His hands brushed against the top of her head, patting her, "The Queen means well, she acknowledges your skills. While I agree with your reasoning for why we have the joust, it does not change fact that the Queen trusts you. Relax; you'll have time to fight properly soon."
Master Teo is kind.
Regardless of his kindness though, there are many people who see are afraid of him. Initially, she had been the same at the start because of his scary features. However, as time passed by and she got to know him, she learned that all those rumors were false. He's a good person; he's even hiding the fact she's his disciple so other people wouldn't misunderstand and fear her. In fact, as it stands, when people see them together. They believe master Teo is bothering her.
Right at this moment, she found several people looking over at them. Some whispered whether they should get help. This will be a long day.

Mist Kingdom Main Castle - Queen Lyn Chambers-
"Allen, is attending the joust?" Lyn asked as she slipped on her garments for the joust. Several servants helped fix up her dress. While she wanted nothing more than to join in, there's always been a rule regarding females and jousts. But that rule is not valid in the mist kingdom, perhaps that's why there are those who don't decline the invitation. You get no prestige by coming here, yet the event is popular every single time they hold one. She would join if it were in another kingdom. But it can't be done; she's the Queen.
Pupillam nodded, "Yes."
"I see. Then I'm glad."
"Were you worried he would sever ties after you chose our dear King over him?"
"No, I was more worried about him personally. All that frowning and lack of social interaction he does are no good for him if he loses me as a friend. Seldom few people could deal with him."
"My Queen.." Pupillam looked as though she wasn't sure whether to believe her words.
Lyn laughed softly, "While that's how I feel, I also want to see him."
That's right; she wants to meet with Allen again. Originally they were engaged with each other. However, she chuckled as she recalled how that guy ended up courting her. It amazed her his persistent. Despite her refusing several times, he persistently came to her every day. It was before she became Queen, during her time as a princess. It felt like it was such a long time ago already.
"My Queen, perhaps he brings news regarding the King. It's unusual for him to attend such events. Do you not think so?"
... "Even if he doesn't, I'd still welcome him here." But her advisor's words may be correct. He doesn't show himself unless he has important news. "The last time we spoke, he told me he met with him."
"Is this true?" Pupillam asked, her advisor paused as she took out a hairbrush from the cabinet. Lynn sat down in front of the dressing table.
"Yes, but this was a month ago.." And from what he told her, that guy's condition was not good. "My husband has the tendency, to recklessly get himself involved in other peoples mischief. There's no doubt that even right as I speak, he's getting caught up in something dangerous."
"Are you not worried about the King?"
"He's plenty strong; his strength parallels mine. There's no need to worry." Besides, Lyn continued, "If that idiot gets hurt. I won't let him back here."
Pupillam sweatdropped, "Your play fighting with the King hasn't changed; it seems.."
She shoots her advisor a glare, "The last time we met. He spent a lot of unnecessary time trying to be affectionate."
"And is there a problem with that?"
"We were in the middle of a battlefield. Is Kazuya crazy?" Lyn sighed as she recalled the memory.
Pupillam chuckled.
"Anyhow, that guy even though he's become the king has no awareness of his position."
"Is that not one trait you liked about him?"
"... That's true." Her gaze softened. That's one of the many reasons. "Someone straight forward, honest and doesn't hesitate to help other people. As careless as he is when helping others, he's a very kind person..."

4019, Year Y, 1:30 PM Wind Kingdom.
A man with platinum blonde hair put up in a short bun that started above his ears and met behind, wearing a white cloak lined brown with the Wind Kingdom emblem on the side stood in front of his horse. His name is Allen, the 27th King of the Wind Kingdom. He belonged to the second most powerful Kingdom in the realm. Due to the events several years ago, the Wind Kingdom was no longer at the top, and the Mist Kingdom overtook them. While that bothered some people, Allen believed it was for the best.
The current structure of the realm has undergone quite several changes; the nine lands that are considered the top have changed. The Mist Kingdom as the top, followed by his Wind Kingdom, third the Sound Kingdom, fourth the Snow Kingdom, the fifth being the form number two the Rain Kingdom.
The one thing that has not changed is this realms lack of having an Empress, even now nobody suitable has taken up the position. The one person who met all the requirements long passed away, and yet they could maintain harmony due to the alliance between the top five. The person responsible for that harmony is the current Queen, the 40th Queen of the Mist Kingdom Lyn. The person whom he is currently heading out to meet.
Before he could climb on his horse, a voice called out to him, "My King."
A sigh passed Allen's lips, "What is the problem Advisor Ri If there's an issue, I'm leaving the head knight in charge," Allen impatiently tapped his horse, indicating he wanted to leave. Advisor Ri however didn't notice this sign and he sighed. Allen wished to get to the Mist Kingdom as quickly as possible, so being stopped irritated him slightly.
"A message for you sir. I believe it's necessary for you to see."
Allen turned around to see the insignia of on the scroll. His immediately took the scroll and opened it slightly. He frowned, reading the contents. That guy has the nerve trying to send him a message to pass on to his wife. But the timing is perfect.
"I'll be in the mist kingdom for a while. Contact me if an emergency arises. But my head advisor aside, there's the head knight and my sister. They should be more than enough to handle the issues here."
"Yes, Sir."
