"Fuuuu…..I guess it's time to take a little break!" I tiredly sighed to myself while leaning against a tree trunk.
I've been killing for nearly the entire day, and I managed to rack up a total of 127 PK points. In addition to the 50 that I got yesterday, in total I should have 177 points!
I'm almost there, I'm really curious how much my mask will change. Even if I'm not using it a lot, upgrading gear doesn't hurt!
While I was lying down and relaxing in the long grass, a message suddenly popped up in front of me.
---I've managed to obtain the information you've asked for. In addition, the player named Hitman is officially at level zero.
Oh? Looks like Lyssia's finally done, nice timing.
---Good job, send over the information then.
Immediately after I sent my message, I obtained a large packet of detailed information of every player that I had listed. But without even having time to start reading, two notifications suddenly popped up.
[Lapis has sent a friend request. (Yuka)]
[Beryl has sent a friend request. (Yuka)]
Not surprised in the least, I accepted their requests and greeted them both before once again messaging my 'information broker'.
---Lyssia, find everything you can about Mizanco and their guild leader.
---Sure thing.
Okay! I guess I'll read over the information later, for now, I have a more urgent problem to deal with.
I need to add security measures to my house!
With the average levels getting higher and higher, the chance that players will grind near my property is high.
Therefore! It's time for an upgrade so that I'm not too lazy to do it later!
Yosh, let's do this.
Opening up my inventory and taking out a return scroll, I promptly faded away as I teleported back to my property.
Only to appear and find a cold knife stuck through my chest.
…
*stare---------------------------wow what a very nice knife design stuck in my chest!*
…
Damn it hurts.
Snapping out of my daze, I immediately leaped forward and rolled to dodge another stab.
Fluently pulling out the knife, I backhanded it and turned around to look at my ambusher.
Black hair, black eyes, average appearance.
Wow, if I saw him on the streets I would immediately label him as an NPC…..but now's not the time for that.
His one knife took out a quarter of my health, that's pretty good!
"Why would someone want to intrude my home I wonder?" I politely asked while feigning a relaxed posture. "It's not really nice you know, to stab someone right after they get home."
The guy didn't seem to show any response to my question and instead equipped another knife.
"So rude…." I mumbled while readying my position.
If this guy wanted a fight, I'll give it to him.
But the information would always be nice.
"Hey, won't you at least tell me your name before dying?"
"..."
"..."
"...Matayoshi Taichi…"
...Did he just seriously give me his real name?
I have an urge to facepalm.
But sadly my hands are occupied so I'll refrain.
"Uh, I didn't mean your real name but that's fine too. So you're Mr. Matayoshi's eldest kid. Nice to meetcha Robin." I said while grinning knowingly.
I found out his username because I inspected him. He's only level four so I'm surprised he managed to find my property! This place is located in a level fifteen forest after all.
Taichi currently had a very stunned look on his face.
"W-wh, you know my dad?"
"Mhm, I guess I do."
"How?"
"Dunno."
"I've never seen you around him."
"Yeah no kidding, I have school to go to. I'm not going to just randomly meet the prime minister of Japan every day."
"But…."
"So you still want to fight or no?"
Before he could finish, I quickly cut him off.
Talking is making me tired for some reason…..let's just ignore him and work on our house! I've automatically locked the doors and windows already so he can't get out again. If he tries to attack me, I can simply dodge.
Alright! Let's get to work.
Leaving him standing with a confused expression, I opened up the property menu and added a camouflage function for 50 gold and an alarm system for 20.
I'm now officially broke, zero, nothing. Oh, and apparently the camouflage option is only given to my property since all the other properties are in the city and not located in the middle of a forest.
"Right, how did you find this place, Robin?" I questioned while furnishing the place with a few more animal pelts. "This is a level 15 zone, I doubt you're supposed to be here."
Finally gaining back his senses, he answered. "I got lost and was attacked by some giant bird. I was chased here, so I thought I could find a place to hide and accidentally stumbled across your house….I humbly apologize for intruding."
What a quick attitude change, one second he's stabbing me and then he's apologizing.
"I see. But could you keep this place a secret? I've been spending a lot of time working on it and it would be terrible if someone came to destroy it." I asked with a depressed voice.
I mean, if he doesn't agree I'll have no choice but to threaten him or something…..
"Of course! This is honestly such a cozy place, I would hate to see it fall as well!"
….What a nice kid!
Finishing up my final touches to the house, I sent him back to the city with a smile on my face.
It was a fake smile of course.
I know my father's preferences well, and he would never add giant birds to a level 15 forest. In fact, I've already checked all the nearby areas, and I've never seen a bird.
I know all of my dad's preferences! Therefore, I know many extra things that he would most likely add to the game.
Huh? I'm not cheating! At least I'm not someone who magically came from the future and knows everything that's going to happen right? This is nothing~
Also, I've already met Matayoshi Taichi in real life. I'm afraid he looks nothing like that, Robin really is a bad liar.
But I'm a really good one! With how I acted, he should believe that I bought everything he said.
….
Looks like I'll need to do something to prevent that liar from coming again.
I don't know if some guild sent him or if he's a solo player, but I should get ready for rumors about this place soon.
Tch, how annoying.
But I've bought the camouflage for an expensive fee of 50 coins, even average guilds can't afford that. So I should be okay…...right?
As long as it's not an expert that comes running in here, I can probably fend off the low leveled ones. In addition, the mobs around here are very sensitive towards large groups, bringing in an army would only result in carnage this early in the game.
---Lyssia, get information on a player named Robin as well, I need it quick
---Of course.
Ha…...Lyssia is so nice, I'll give her a raise.
But I should probably get myself a bit more gold first!
The feeling of being broke doesn't sit well with me at all…..
