Me and Jason then sat down on the bench. And immediately started talking.
"What are you doing back it hasn't been that long since you left."
I spoke in korean with him even though he knew mandarin really well. Despite the fact that I only taught him for two years. He had always been able to pick up languages like me.
And of course he spoke in korean with me as well.
"You know me of course I graduated early." he had a cocky smirk on his face.
He was only like that around me, if you caught him with anyone else. He was a man of few words.
I looked down at the dog and suddenly asked. "So you got over your fear of dogs?"
He smiled lightly. And spoke in his same calm, deep, and steady voice.
"Yeah but just as everything else. I owe that to you."
Me and him always had that relationship. I thought the world of him because he had done so much for me. But he thought just the same about me.
"So you actually took my advice and got one?" I liked the fact that I didn't have to be someone else around him.
"Of course. Who else could I listen to if not you?" His expression then suddenly changed.
I knew this would come because he could read me like a book. It would be weird if he didn't notice. I was different, I mean I am married.
"What's wrong with you. You look like you're filled with worry."
He locked eyes with me and gently stroked my head.
I smiled at him before getting up and saying "Its a bit of a long story let's go to my house and talk first."
He smiled and nodded before saying "Let me bring my dog to my house first. Wait here I'll be right back." He kissed my cheek and ran back to his house the same way he used to.
I smiled and waited for him quietly.
