Sehanna came to the training ground holding dinner in her both hands. She looked around but couldn't find anyone. She moved towards the back of training ground and loudly called, "Blue, where are you?....." no answer came.
She placed the dishes in her hands to the ground and also sat down and called again. "Blue, I am sorry that I left you alone but you know the reason why I did that. Please come out". There was still no answer.
She sighed and fell back to the ground facing the night sky. The stars were twinkling and there was a bright crescent moon.
She started talking again but this time her voice low like she was afraid that if she raised her voice she would scare the peaceful night. "You know? When we met each other for the first time, there was also a crescent moon which was exactly same as the one now. You were also so small and cute. From that day till now we were never apart from each other, we were always together and I want us to remain this way forever and we definitely will. So there is no reason for you to be sad". After saying this, she closed her eyes and took a long breath.
She continued "Blue, I want to see you right now. I have missed you so much and I want to tell you so many things about what happened today".
The wind blew gently and Sehanna opened her eyes and smiled, "You came out finally".
She turned her head to her right. There was a young boy who looked same age as Sehanna lying next to her, holding her right hand. He had pitch black hair like a night and stunning blue eyes that reflected Sehanna. He was looking at her.
Sehanna gave him a bright smile like a child and said, "You are as beautiful as ever".
Blue pouts and thought, "You are the one to talk". Both stared at each other and started laughing.
Blue couldn't talk from the birth. He learned sign language and he communicated through that. As for Shehanna, she is the only one to understand even without the signs. She can read his thoughts which is exclusive only two the two of them. It also showed how much they understood each other.
Sehanna suddenly said, "If only weren't for your condition we could have gotten to the school together".
Blue, "I am fine this way. I can't change who I am but I am glad what I am. I don't care as long as I am with you".
Sehanna made a worried face. She got up and so did Blue. She changed the topic saying "Let's have dinner."
They started having dinner.
After a while she started talking about what happened today at school and Blue heard them curiously. As the night went on so did their conversation.
In the morning. Shashi came towards the dining hall in his pyjamas and messy hair saying, "Kaya, I am so hungry, please let me eat something". Then he saw Sehanna and Blue having breakfast and sighed thinking, "Glad they made up".
He came and sat with them and so did Kaya. The four of them had breakfast like any other normal family. Even without any blood relationship between them, they were a happy family. Four different people, connected to each other completely only through their emotions and the love they had for each other. They were not perfect but they were satisfied because they had each other.
Looking at the people around him who meant so much to him, Shashi thought, "I hope we stay like this together, forever".
Kaya asked Sehanna, "Seha, today evening you are attending the Blue Commandos recruitment right?".
Seha nods her head since her mouth was stuffed with food which was more than her small mouth could possibly hold. Blue was watching her while having his breakfast.
Suddenly Shashi became serious and said, "Seha, I gave my permission for you to join the Blue Commandos but I have my conditions as well".
Sehanna became serious too and asked, "What are your conditions?"
Shashi started stating his conditions one by one. "Condition number one, you have to tell me beforehand going to any missions even if they are confidential".
Sehanna replied, "If it's only that, then I can text you or call you regarding missions. So no objection from me to this condition".
Blue and Kaya watched them seriously.
Shashi continued, "Okay then, condition number two. You can't get hurt during missions. If you get hurt, then you quit the job right away".
Sehanna got furious. "How can you say that? It's common to get hurt a little during missions and I will heal right away anyway so there is no need to fret over such small things".
Shashi got angry and yelld, "Sehanna".
The atmosphere became heavy... Shashi calmed himself and said, "Even if you heal right away, the pain won't go away as easily and we know that already. More importantly you have to hide the fact that you can heal yourself from others".
Kaya consented to this saying, "I agree with Shashi on this one".
Blue also nods his head thinking the same.
Sehanna pountingly agreed to the condition saying, "Fine. I'll try my best not to get hurt".
Shashi breathed relief and said, "Good. Then the third condition is, you have to tell us the reason for you to join the Blue Commandos."
Sehanna got silent. She didn't want to say anything about it.
Shash continued, "I know that you have been looking for few answers regarding what happened back then but, tell us specifically".
Sehanna didn't say a single word and continued to be silent.
Shashi, "Fine. I won't ask you anymore if you don't want to tell but please, tell me in the future when you can will you?".
Sehanna finally broke her silence saying, "Off course, I will definitely tell you but I need time".
Shashi sighed. "Okay, at least you agreed. You already know that I was a Blue Commando before. Even though I am retried now, I am still a member of Sarva Society. So I can't help you to get in the Blue Commandos and you have to do everything by your own".
Seha confidently said, "I know your position and I don't need your help in anything at all"
Shashi smiled gently and said, "Do your best dear".
Sehanna got goosebumps seeing him smile so gently and said, Don't smile creepily."
Shashi sadly, "you are so mean".
Kaya laughed and also wished her, "all the best Seha".
Shashi interrupted, "I have one more thing to say". Everyone got silent. "Seha you are not the only one who is joining the Blue Commandos from Avrav family. There is also another one".
Everyone were surprised. Sehanna and Blue looked at each other and suddenly came to realization. They got up and hugged each other happily.
Sehanna turned around and looked at Shashi still hugging Blue and said, "finally you did a worthy thing by giving him permission to join Blue Commandos. I am so happy".
Blue also became very happy and he thought, "with this I can be with her always".
It was midnight. Blue was in his room sitting on his bed and reading. Since he couldn't go to school, he studied at home. His room looked like a room of any normal boy of his age. He heard someone knocking on his door. Shashi pushed the door open and came inside saying "it's not good for your health if you stay up too late".
Blue looked at him curiously wondering why Shashi came to his room so late at night.
Shashi came towards Blue and sat on his bed with him and said to him, "It's been ten years since you guys came to this house. I raised you as my own kids that I am so proud of. Both of you are my life. So please be careful. No matter what, just be safe".
Blue signed him saying, "You are worrying too much. We will be fine".
Shashi got up and said, "Anyways, it's already late and you should sleep". He walked towards the door. But again, he turned around saying, "All these years, I have taught you so many things. You already surpassed me in martial arts and you have improved your conditions. Use this chance to become a Gold Star Blue Commando that everyone respect and protect her. That is your duty and my only request. You know how much that girl means to me, Kaya and I also know how much more she means to you. So take care of yourself and protect her well. Don't let anyone harm her again".
After saying this, he walked away from the room without waiting for Blue's reply. Because he knew that there was no need for any reply and he trusted Blue in protecting Shehanna.
After he left, Blue thought to himself, "Even without you telling me, I will protect her no matter what". He closed his eyes and an image of a bloody little girl came to his mind. She was in a state worse than him. Covered in multiple wounds, she was entirely covered in her own blood and appeared very weak. Even though she was portraying herself as strong, her eyes told entirely different story. They were showing endless different emotions. Sadness, worries, betrayal, questions, helplessness, determination, strength. There was a bundle of mixed emotions in her eyes but lacked a major one. There was no tiny trace of happiness in them. Even in her worst state, her hands were very warm. While she held him, he could still remember her exact words saying "I will protect you".
Blue opened his eyes which were full of determination to protect the one who gave him so much of warmth even in the worst scenario. He thought, "Shehanna, I will shield you from all the harm's way. I will protect you even at the cost of my life".
