It took a few seconds for Dheer to register the fact that it was Anaya who was behaving like a wild cat. And when he did, he was even more baffled. But he quickly threw all the reasonings at the back of his mind when he saw that she was literally going to kick that man's ass. He quickly sprinted forwards and held her from her back, hugging her tightly, stopping her from kicking the man.
The young man breathed a sigh of relief when she was stopped timely and her kick missed. Or else, judging by the force with which she was attacking him, it would have been an end for his lineage if that kick landed where she was targeting him. He cursed his luck on meeting her today. 'God!! Which person's unlucky face did I see when I woke up that I got such rotten luck today?' Unknown to him that meeting her today will turn out to be the luckiest incident in his life.
When she failed to kick her prey, she was even more annoyed. She turned back angrily to look at the person who dared to stop her from avenging her piggy.
When Anaya turned back and looked at him angrily, his heart stopped. Not because she was angry but because this was the first time, she was showing him her anger. An emotion which usually was not for the strangers. And besides, he found her angered face even more enticing and cute that his breath hitched. He wondered if he truly turned masochist after experiencing all those beatings from Elisa.
"Release me Dheer. What are you doing?" Anaya snapped trying to get free.
"I should be the one asking Anaya, just what are you doing?" Dheer asked. Then suddenly as if having a light bulb moment he asked in a raised voice worried "Did he do something to you? Did he hurt you?"
Before Anaya could say anything, he turned towards the young man and yelled at him "How dare you to hurt her. Just you wait..."
He was cut midsentence when Anaya tried to break free from him declaring "Don't you dare to touch him Dheer. He is my prey and only I will punish him for what he did. You just let me go."
"No please don't let her go. And do you think that I can touch her at all? She is a monster. Is she even a girl with that brute strength of hers? I don't even know why is she attacking me now?"
"Release me, Dheer, and I will show him how to admit one's mistake instead of pushing the blame on others." Anaya snapped.
"But he already said sorry for that. What else do you want him to do." The woman beside the young man beseeched.
"Do you think I am so petty to come after him just because of some measly blame that you put on us? Oh please!! I have a reputation to maintain." Anaya mocked him.
"Then why?" the three of them asked at once.
"How dare you insult my friend? No one can insult him and called him a sissy that's why. You don't have that privilege, but you still dared to do that that's why." Anaya harrumphed.
"I am sorry for what I said. Please let me go. I promise I won't do that ever again. If you want, I can go and apologize to your friend right now mam." The poor boy pleaded.
"Oh that you will do but not before I punish you properly so that you won't repeat the same mistake in the future with any other person" saying this she breaks free from Dheer's hold which was loosened now and charged towards the boy again to punch him.
******* Random corridor in a mall*****
"What's taking ducky so long? Why is not she out until now?" thinking this and recalling Anaya's behavior earlier he felt extremely uneased. He knew she was up to no good. He should have stopped her or at least followed her. He quickly decided to look for her before she does something bad.
However, when went to the corridor of the bathroom he was bewildered by the scene he saw.
Dheer was sitting on one of the benches with a black eye and a swollen cheek while Anaya was sitting beside him and gently rubbing his cheek.
By then Sam, Rehan, and Arav also reached the scene and saw what was happening. They were astounded.
