Each twist and turn confused Lil's mind more and more, as she was lead through the different corridors by William. Every brick looked different, but each place she looked, everything looked identical. The only difference that helped Lil know she was not walking in circles was the different photos on each corridor. She stopped infront of one. It had a girl in a beautiful dress, and her hair was amazingly detailed ; she was standing infront of what looked like a castle, with her face turned towards a planet that looked like Earth.
"Hey, what is thi-" she was about to ask William, but got cut off quickly by his response.
"I told you. Ask the head later."
She looked down and caught up with the tall raven haired man leading her. Lil didn't realise that living with her was going to be a problem, she was always quiet so she wouldn't disturb anyone. Her hands rubbed against the mountains of her skin, feeling the cool air on her skin was refreshing. Thoughts jumbled up like a puzzle, she got lost in thought. Trying to piece together of what she knows before she heard a beautiful melody. She stopped infront of the room. Noticing that the door wasn't closed, Lil looked throught seeing a tall young man playing the violin - the melody filled her with comfort and relaxation. Sighing happily, she stood infront of the door and listened.
Playing with her minds, the differentnotes danced around her, as if they were written for her. Slowly swaying in time with the music, Lil got lost in her own world - remembering her dream - her hand slid up towards her chest. Suddenly, the man stopped playing and put his violin down. He wasn't tired from what her eyes could make out, his brown hair had a gentle shine. His darker skin complimented his body language, with joy and calmness. _He is probably normal then_
Lil looked away, finding herself staring at William's deep blue eyes, which had a hint of curiosity for her stopping. She walked towards him and said that the music hed gotten to her. Angrily sighing, William's hand touched his foreheadthen Lil's shoulders. She was caught off guard, when he was pushing Lil's body towards the room and left with the boy who was playing the beautiful melody from before.
She stood motionlessly. Words wouldn't creep out of her mouth, nor did they from the others boy mouth. They stared at eachother. Not knowing what to say, his hand ruffled the back of his hair, his eyes looking eleswhere. Dark and brown, his eyeshad a saoft glow, that matched perfectly with his chocolate hair, his tall posture made him seem very handsome in Lil's eyes. Her face burned up. Shaking, she cuddled herself and slowly took steps back to the door. He opened his mouth trying to say something but never had a chance as Lil was gone.
"Hey! Wait!" he shouted surprised at the girl's reaction.
As she ran out, she saw that William was waiting for her, leaning against the wall that was opposite the music room. Lil became irratated. He was unmoved by her expression and said "Well that was very short. Running out without saying a word." He chuckled to himself, being very amused by wat happened. "The fact that he told you to wait and you still ignored him."
"You put me in an awkward situation. Leaving me with someone I do not know. Atleast introduce me next time and tell me who thet are." Lil whispered shouted, her anger slowly leaking out of her.
"Fiesty." his only responce was before he looked at the little girl comming towards the two. he pulled her close, almost an embrace, leaving the charging girl to run past them. Lil's heart pounded almost out of her chest. She gulped. Feeling herself turn red,she looked down and asked who that was,, only getting a reply that she will know at breakfast.
He stared at the top of her head, having hte deepest feeling that this felt right. An embrace, silence and only them two in the corridor. He shook his head gently and let the embarrased girl go. Still looking at her, William thought about how Lil was very different from every other girl he met. Shrugging to himself, hestrode towards the music room and went inside.
Lil heard him enter the room and propped her head up. Claming her self down, she listened from a distance of what the were talking about. Nervous, she heard how William reminded the other boy about breakfast and that he should meet the girl that was with him a second ago. THe annoyance in the brown-haired boy's voice was heard loud and clear when he replied that he shouldn't have done that.
"That is very impulsive of you. Stop being a jerk." He told William firmly. Lil heard the shock and amusment with his friends answer and said that impulsive is his fifth name and that he is not a jerk. He laughed and left the room with his friend - who was obviously very unamused by the whole situation and rolled his eyes.
His eyes met with Lil's and stood still in his tracks. Skipping a beat, Lil looked at the boys gaze and wanted to know his name.
"Lil, this is my best friend James. James, this is our new annoying resident Lil. Quite strange for the matter of fact." William introduced the shy pair and smirked - awaiting an answer from either side of the corridor.
"First of all, I am not annoying. Second, do not call me as if we strangers, it's very annoying. Third-" Lil smirked darkly, "I didn't think you had friends you know." Her eyes sparkled happily with William's horrified face. James started to laugh out loud, a single tear running down on each side of his face.
"This is how you start the day off!" James kept laughing as he swung one of his arms around his friend (annoyed yet impressed at the Lil's sharp tongue). He started to walk off with James, telling her to walk with them as she doesn't know her way around. Stopping briefly, he thought about his next sentence abd said: "Listen, if you wanna play with me, fine. But remember. I play unfairly and will tear you down," he informed the blonde girl with adding one final thing, "Plus, I can easily take you down in any other way you can imagine. Be prepared... I can't wait."
Lil was surprised at the response and frowned. She didn't liked being challenged and mumbled to herself that she will prove herself to him and followed the pair infront of her.
Changing directions every other second, Lil slowly started to wrap her head around where she was and where to go. From time to time, she would listen onto he conversation that took place infront of her. James and William had a sence of humour that only they understood, only best friends could understand. She smiled. Remebering her best friends and the jokes they shared. Her mood changed immediatlely, realising that she wouldn't see them for a long while. Her heart cried out , but only Lil heard the cry. Twisting inside of her, she felt tears swelling up in her eyes. She quickly wiped them off, not wanting to show weakness infront of others she didn't really know.
William looked back at Lil, staring intensly at her expressions as her thoughts changed from one to another. He never thought that anyone would be as different as she was, yet here she was - walking slowly behind. As quickly as he shifted his gaze to her, he shifted back to James and asked out loud:
"So. James. What song were you playing at seven in the morning?" he asked hiding his evil smirk. James asked why he cared of what he played. William slyly replied that it was a nice tune and turned to face Lil, who was clearly curious herself. "Right Lil, nice tune right?" he asked the stunned girl, making it very obvious of his intentions. Before James could answer, they found themselves infront of the dining hall.
"Guess its too late."James relpied.
