He sighs into the classroom, mostly to himself as the drizzle of rain outside run down the windows, bored out of his mind and grumbles under his breath about the snoring teacher at his desk, such a rude person by the way, and stretched his body across the desk lazily.
The table under his warm body was cold to the touch, and he can't help but relax and yawn loudly.
Just as he was about to take a nice nap, the door to the class slams open loudly, startling him and sends him tumbling out of his seat. Surprisingly, the teacher didn't wake up at all.
So much for detention.
He huffs at the teacher and picks himself up and turn to the person, annoyed and done with everything now and was about to berate the person when he froze.
By the door, was his crush leaning there awkwardly and staring at the teacher without much a glance towards him, who was blushing madly now.
Thank gosh the lights were a bit dimmer than usual or else he's suffering from embarrassment right now.
Unfortunately or maybe fortunately, his crush finally looks back at him with her pretty brown eyes which he often daydreams about and tentatively ask, "Have you, by chance, seen a small journal, it's this big and has a leather cover on it."
He wasn't paying attention at all, only focusing on her voice and how lovely it sounds. He wished he could have many regular conversations with her, but that would never happen.
"Hey, uh, hey, are you alright there?"
He blinks before coughing, trying to hide his weird smile, his friends always teased him about it at lunch, and answer back.
"Yeah, I'm fine, uh, no, I haven't seen the journal, if you are wondering." His voice cracked at the last minute, and he so badly wanted to bury himself in a ditch because of that.
'Great, what a first impression you gave her, real smooth.' He sarcastically thought as he schooled his expression, trying to save the last of his dignity for tonight.
She blinks and then giggles endearingly, leaving him flabbergasted and said between her laughs, "That's okay, thanks for the help anyways."
His crush then spins around to leave, her short hair bouncing after her.
"By the way, your voice is adorable."
Now it was his turn to blink owlishly at her, and before he could question her anymore, his face burning up in confused infatuation, she left with a quiet shut of the door and lingering sound of melody in the class.
