Analis laid down in her bed as she remembered what she had done. She was out of her mind to think nothing would happen. Now she was on the kings bad side.
By 7 days, Guards were everywhere in her castle and new maids had been sent over. It was obvious they were trying to get her to stay in her room. She couldn't refute either as her ankle was hurt anyways
They barely looked her in the eyes unless she stepped out of the room. For her, it was worst than a death sentence. To make it worse the pain she felt only got worse by the days. Everyday at noon she felt worse and worse.
The pain was like pinches everywhere until the sixth day when it was as if someone had hit into her leg. By now it was already the ninth day. Three more days and she couldn't imagine what was going to happen to her leg next.
Analis sat on her balcony drinking a cup of water that was brought to her. The maids refused to make tea or coffee and only gave her water and plain foods.
Of course Analis was smarter than the maids. She would hide the bedsheet everyday and stack them into a pile. She now had enough to reach the ledge below her balcony. It was her escape plan.
"Im sure you were planning to keep me here forever but I'm not a bird in a cage." Analis said looking at the kings castle in the distance.
She tied the sheets together with knots and carefully made her way down the sheet rope.
Everything was going fine till the ring of the bell. Once again, noon struck and Analis's arm felt as if knives were going into her skin.
She could barely hold onto the rope as she quickly climbed down. Nobody noticed her and she was finally able to be free of those pesky guards.
"If i remember correctly this room is the secret entrance room. I should be able to get out using the castle's secret escape routes." Analis said to herself.
She opened the doors of the room and it looked like every other room. However, the wall moved as soon as Analis pressed a small stone in.
She ran down the hallways happy that she was free of this dreaded lockdown castle.
The light at the end of the tunnel was a relieving light for her. Analis stepped out into the bright sun but was met with the shadow of another person.
She opened her eyes and look upon his pitch black hair and gem like blue eyes. For a moment she was bewildered by his appearance.
The sounds of armored knights behind him were even worse for Analis. She looked down at the man's uniform and knew who he was.
"Royal guard Ky Kizer. The one in charge of the new 'security' around my palace." Analis said biting her lip anxiously.
"You know why this is here. After all you messed up by going against... her" he said sneering as he said the last word.
"Let me pass, i want out of this birdcage like place." Analis said getting impatient by the second.
"No can do your highness. We will help you return to your room." Ky said waving to the guards.
