When we arrived, It was more like a little town than a market. There were guards stationed all around and even some buildings.
-I imagined there to be only stables or so, this is quite different. Not that I ever saw a marked that assumption was only based of stories. –
Nathalie took here trolley and made her way into the marked I followed her.
"Be sure to keep your stuff safe. Otherwise you'll get pickpocketed."
I used magic to keep track of my valuables. It alarms me if someone tries to take it.
"I will."
She made here way though the crowd and I had a hard time following her. She stopped in front of a building. When she entered a bell rang.
"Welcome, how can I help you?" An employee immediately greeted us.
-Woah. Here are so many things…. Oh, found a book. Zero scan. –
[Initiate scanning.]
"I have an appointment with Ben."
"Then I'll escort you to the meeting room." He led the way to a different room
The room had a circular table with four chairs.
"Pleas sit down, master Benjamin will be here shortly."
"The flying was really great. We managed to be here earlier. With the extra time we can stroll around the marked afterwards."
"I need to buy some things for my brother. I hope you don't mind me going buy them later."
She contemplated for a bit "Considering how self-reliant you are you should be able to manage. Alright we'll meet at the tree stump at 5 pm. "
"Great."
"Say you can fly us back home too, right?"
"Sure." I smiled at her.
-She seems to like flying more than walking. Not that that would be a surprise. –
The door opened and a boy Nathalie's age entered.
"You are here earlier than usual." He looked at me "You also brought someone else with you."
"Yeah. That's Naomi and she's the reason why I'm here early."
He walked towards me and held his and out. "Nice to meet you, my name is Benjamin."
I stood up and shook is hand. "Nice to meet you too."
Afterwards he sat on one of the empty chairs. "So, let me see what you brought this time."
Nathalie opened here trolley and took out here things. Ben started to inspect them and made a price then they started haggling. After some time, they settled on a price.
"Ben, Naomi also has some things she wants to sell."
"Is that so then let me see, little girl." He smiled at me.
-Sight, he sees me as a harmless little girl. I'm not sure if that's good or bad, tough. –
I put my five things out of the basked. These were the best ones. Afterwards he started inspecting.
"I can give you 2 silver for all of them."
-Scammer, how dare you try to swindle a little girl. –
"For that I can give you these two pieces." I pointed at a small carped and a coat.
"They are of with rabbit fur so two silver coins is still rather cheap."
"It seems like someone did their homework. So, lest hear what you want for all of them?"
-Let's see, not every piece is worth a silver coin, but some are worth more. Hmmm 5 silver would probably be a good price. The haggling of them before really helped me gauge the price. –
"Five silver"
"How about four silver and seven copper."
"I think five silver is already a good price."
"Four silver and eight copper."
"The fur of them is good quality."
"Four silver and nine copper."
"I did a good job at making it. Nathalie said so herself."
"Alright five silver it is."
"Great."
"Seriously, Ben why do you always try to scam people? Especially when she is with me?"
He handed us our money. "No comment that she is a little girl? Because I'm a business man, you know that. Besides if they give me the goods for less than it's worth, then it's their fault and I make more profit."
"Even though she doesn't look it, Naomi is probably more mature than others older than here. Yeah I know."
"She had a good grasp of the value and didn't back down when I wanted to give here less, instead she made statements for the value. Little girl I'm impressed."
I smiled at him
-I did it again. Because of the children in the village Zero managed to make a module and it really made my life easier. But I still act out of age sometimes. Besides even though I have my acting better under control my growth is giving me a headache. It comes in handy when I meet new people because thy just assume that I'm older but for the ones I spend regular time with it's problematic. Even Anthony asked me about it and he's someone who doesn't like to be involved in the problems of other people. Or just isn't interested in others.
I had so much luck with the mana age thing but what should I do with my accelerated growth? I can't say that I have magical beast genes, sight. I need to figure something out about that. –
"Nathalie, I have some free time, how about we look around the marked?"
"Sounds great. It's alright if I let my bag here, right."
"Of course."
"How do you two know each other?"
They looked at each other, Nathalie answered me. "We are childhood friends. My father sold his things here and became friends with his father. Because of that we met regularly."
"You can leave your basked here too, if you want."
"Thanks, but no, I need to buy some things and I'd have a hard time to transport them without it."
"Alright then let's go."
-Zero did you finish scanning? –
[Affirmative]
-Great, time to search the marked for books and Anthony's order. –
As we walked out of the door.
"I'll be going then. I'll be at the tree stump at five."
"Alright. See you."
"Wait, are you letting a little girl go alone in the marked?"
"Like I said, she may look like a little girl, but she can take care of herself."
"If I didn't know you any better, I'd think you'd be crazy."
I made my way to the next stall while the two discussed if it's alright to let me go alone.
-Sight, if she knew that I'm not even seven than she'd probably flip out. Anyways time to find books. Zero scan surroundings and create a map. Scan all books in radius, let me know if I walk away before you finished. Show the map of area you are able to scan to me. –

A window with the map popped up. It looked like the one in games. A 15-meter radius around me is detailed and the areas I already went are depicted on it the rest is just black or transparent in this case.
-Also gather information, related to school or other facilities were knowledge is passed on. –

-Informe me when you find anything of what Anthony wants. –
[Alarm set.]
As I walked, I stopped by the on or the other stall. Some shop or stall keeper didn't take me seriously but after thy found out that I had money they tried to scam me. It took some work to get a normal price.
An hour later.
-I am hungry. I should buy something to eat. I skipped lunch after all. Nathalie probably took something with here but because I flew us here, we didn't make a break. Maybe a bread and a sausage, something cheap I don't want to spend my money on food if I get it at home for free. –
I stopped at a stall and bought an apple.
-I really should have brought something form home, Zero remind me to take something to eat with me if I won't be home to eat. –

A boy came running and bumped into me. He hastily got up and continued running.
-Rude, but something is odd about him. His eyes looked like the ones of a reptile and his aura is different. I can't say how it just feels unlike the others. –
Some guards came running
"Did anyone see a boy?"
-So that was why he was running like his life depended on it. Did he steal something? Most likely, why would he get chased otherwise? He's probably a street kid. Poor boy. –
