Everything looked blurry and shaky as if she was underwater. The hunting dogs barking in the distant, the sounds of hunting rifle shots, the laughs and sounds of chatting of the people around her... Everything seemed distant for her although she was surrounded by it.
She tried to shoot, but in the end she couldn't even hold the rifle straight. Turns out, she really cannot fire a gun if there is a life at the other end.
Should I give up? Should I live in fear for the rest of my life?
Talia looked up. The sky was clear with white clouds scattered around. The tall trees swayed to and fro as of they are very happy and dancing. But Talia felt she didn't fit with the mood of the place.
Talia didn't want to stay there anymore. Maybe because of the thick hunting gear she was wearing, she felt stuffy and giddy. She wanted to leave and curl up in her bed and sleep.
