[Rest time is over~ The second mission will begin shortly!]
I was awoke due to the screens loud and annoying voice, so I shook my head and stood up while looking around the class. The other 7 people are all injured in a few places, but they are not that injured anymore.
I look down at myself and the stab wound on my right arm has closed slightly. I let out a sigh of relief at the fast healing of our wounds, since I don't know if the next mission will be another fighting one.
I put one dagger on each side of my belt and hold the third one in my hand and calm myself down. I notice that the other 7 also have a few daggers on them, so they won't die as easily as before.
[Time for the mission to begin~ Get ready~]
[Mission #2:
-Reach the Gymnasium within the time limit
-Time Limit: 10 minutes
-Rewards: 15 points. 15 xp.
-Failure Penalty: Death]
The rewards are higher than the first mission? All we have to do is reach the gym... Ah wait! We have to enter the hallway to get to the gym! Considering the fact that the goblins came from somewhere within the hallway, it is safe to assume that there will be more goblins outside wandering around.
If I assume that each and every class got at least 20 goblins, then there would be a maximum of 800 goblins. Since some classes would definitely kill goblins and survive, it should be safe to assume that there is still around 200 of them alive.
I slightly gulp at the number I came up with, as that is a very high number. My class almost got eliminated by a mere 20 goblins, and this is 10 times that amount. It seems that the other 7 also figured that out by the looks on their faces.
"Well we have to go regardless. If we leave, we have a chance to live. but if we don't reach the gym in 10 minutes, we will definitely die here."
The girl who stayed in the corner at the beginning says to everyone. I think her name was... Uh... Right, her name was Su Min. Everyone still in the room agreed with her, even I did. I and another guy walk to the doors and remove the desks that are around it.
I look at the other guy and we both nod to each other and open the door while holding a dagger. I peek my head out one direction and he does the other. We see no goblins around either side, so we both let out a sigh of relief. We did see a lot of blood around though.
After telling the others that it was safe, we started heading towards the gym. Since there are eight of us, the most injured two were in the middle while I and the other guy were in the front. The other 4 were taking up the rear.
We carefully look around each corner and open classroom door just in case of an ambush, but we don't see anything. Although we are confused and quite wary, we still quickly make our way to the gym. After 3 or 4 minutes we can finally see the gym doors and they are open, as if someone was there already.
But that isn't right... If someone was there, they would definitely close the doors... We all look at each other, and since none of us are stupid, we instantly found out this is most likely a trap. Still, we have to enter even if it is a trap, or we will die anyways.
I grip my dagger tightly in my right hand and slowly walk towards the gym. I looked at both of the other hallways and didn't see any goblins, but I did see a few dead students on the ground, which confirms that this is probably a trap.
I and the other guy look at each other, and we can both see slight fear in the others eyes, but we still head over. I take the left side while he takes the right, and we slowly walk into the gym doors. At first nothing happens, but as soon as the other 6 entered the gym, shit happened.
A bunch of goblins jumped out from behind pillars or equipment, while some jumped from near the roof. Around a total of 30 or 40 goblins appeared in front of the eight of us, causing our expressions to harden, with slight fear added in.
The goblins don't give us time to think as they all rush towards us, each holding a dagger. All eight of us hold out daggers tightly in a defensive position, all eight of us beside each other. The goblins let out weird growls as if laughing at us, which is damn annoying.
When a goblin gets within my attacking range, I stab my dagger into it's head. I swiftly pulled the dagger out and narrowly dodged a stab that was aiming at my arm, causing me to lightly sweat at the closeness of that attack.
The others also killed one or two goblins, but we can already tell that these goblins are different from the ones who attacked our classroom. The ones who attacked our classroom got angry at the death of one of the other goblins and became rash, but these ones don't.
They don't even look at the dead goblins, some even use them as a shield. This causes our hearts to tighten but we don't stop attacking. Each swing of my dagger I take a goblins life, but I am getting injured fast.
There are too many goblins for just us eight to deal with easily. We have killed around 12 goblins, but we all have injures on our arms or legs, slowing our movements. Eventually, one of the girls could not hold out and her heart got stabbed by a goblin.
The other goblins started grunting loudly due to that and their attacks sped up and got more ferocious, leaving us with more and more wounds. Since one of us died, the pressure on us increased, so I took out another dagger and put it in my left hand.
Three others who got extra daggers did the same, but the other three who only had one dagger each were struggling hard. Now that I have two daggers in my hand I can deal with the goblins more easily. When they came in range I wound kill one and when the other tried to sneak attack me I would deflect it's attack with my dagger and end it's life by stabbing the head or chest.
In the end we managed to kill all of the goblins, but the cost was too heavy. Two of us died while the other six of us had multiple injures on our bodies. My legs and arms all had stab wounds on them, I even got stabbed in the left shoulder, making it hard to move that arm.
I can be considered the lightest injured. The other six all have injuries on their stomachs and backs, even multiple injuries on their shoulders. I, being the lightest injured, close the gym doors and drag a few big pieces of gym equipment over to block the door and sat down while leaning against a wall.
[Hey, hey~ You guys killed all of the goblins again. You guys are definitely the strongest class, huh. Well, congrats on completing the second mission~]

I only have half of the amount of points needed for a sword, but I should probably get a spear. I don't know what types of monsters will come, but having a spear will be more useful than a sword most likely. So I need to complete probably another 2 or 3 missions for that.
[Mission #3 will begin soon~ Everybody that is still alive and completed Mission #2 will be transported to the same spot, to group up~ Look forward to that~]
What? Everybody still alive will be grouped up? That's not good... Although having more people might sound good, but it isn't in a situation like this. Who knows how many bastards will want to be leaders? They will cause fights between the other survivors.
The others probably also realized this as they are glaring at the space in front of them, probably the screen. It also said that it will begin shortly rather than giving us time for rest, so our injuries won't be able to heal that much.
Around 25 minutes after we were resting, a white light shone around all of our bodies and I felt as if I had a massive hangover. When I managed to gain back my senses, I looked around us and as I expected, there were a bunch of people around me.
The other 5 people were beside me in a small corner, but they were still groggy, so I looked around. I noticed that some groups had lots of people with no injuries on them, which caused me to frown. It seems that the missions were different for every class, or else it would be impossible to have no injuries reaching somewhere.
They probably all stayed inside the classroom like idiots. Although I don't know what this Karma thing is, I do know that you get more xp for killing the monsters rather than not, so everyone there is probably still level 1, maybe a few at level 2.
I looked at all of the groups around and figured there were around 120 people alive still, which is pretty high. A few groups have a small amount of people, those having a lot of injured, similar to our group.
[Heya~ Time for Mission #3! This one is interesting, hehe~]
[Mission #3
-Battle Royale
-Time Limit: 1 hour
-Rewards: 30 points. 30 xp.
-Failure Penalty: Death]
...What? Battle Royale? Don't tell me... We have to fight the other survivors? I damn well hope not since I am still damn injured.
[Well~ That title doesn't say much so let me explain! Battle Royale, is a Battle Royale! You 124 survivors will all fight each other! The time limit is 1 hour, so fight on! Those who have the most kills will receive a bonus reward~ After 1 hour, if over 80 people are still alive, 20 random people will die! Good luck~]
Fuck! I god damn knew it! The rewards are shit for a mission like this, but the screen said there will be bonus rewards for the highest killers, so people will go insane. Who knows what kind of reward you will get? These people would damn well not care about the lives of others for their own safety.
Before shit happens I chose to silently move back to a corner of the place. I already looked around and this is just a very big gym. At the corner I went to their is a pillar leading up to the roof where the lights are, so I climb up it.
I am injured right now and can barely use my left arm, so I won't stand a chance against this many people. I should hide out and wait until the numbers lessen and take advantage of it. I'm not any good person, so I will kill these idiots to survive. I will get that first place bonus reward.
I made a good choice in climbing up the pillar, as a few minutes after I did chaos ensued down below. I watched as people stabbed the injured people from their groups in the back and killed them. Even my group was like that. Although Su Min tried to fight back, she was too injured.
Two of the guys attacked her at the same time, and although she got a stab or two in, she ended up getting stabbed full of holes and dying after less than a minute. The two guys then looked at each other and began fighting the other 2 in the group.
Less than a minute later there is only one guy besides me left alive in my group, causing me to shake my head. People really will go insane for survival, not keeping a clear head. As a result, he easily got picked off by a group of people who teamed up with each other.
That large group of people with no injuries was instantly devoured by the others. They had no weapons, not even a damn sharp stick. A few of them fought back and managed to kill a few of the others, but still died in the end.
I noticed that my injuries healed somewhat faster in this area, so I waited silently for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of slaughter only 85 people or so were left from the original 124. Although it doesn't seem like much, but the killers are random students who aren't trained and have crappy weapons. So killing 40 people in 30 minutes is pretty fast.
Now that my injuries have healed somewhat, I can start moving my left arm around. Although it is still sore, I can at least use it, so it is time to do so. I move towards a pillar on the other side from the one I climbed up from and silently move down it.
There were 3 people that are injured hiding behind a curtain together silently, and they didn't realize I came down behind them. I stab two daggers in the heads of two of them, and when the third guy is about to scream, I kicked his throat with my foot and broke his neck. I didn't even need to stab him since he died instantly from that.
One of them had a rusty dagger like mine so I picked it up and put it in my belt as a backup dagger just in case. I didn't feel anything after killing them since they are similar to the goblins from before. The only difference is they are humans, but goblins are human like anyways.
Nobody even noticed that I instantly killed three people because we were hidden behind a curtain. I peeked out of the curtain while hiding myself and noticed that people were still fighting madly. Everyone still alive was injured, some lightly and some heavily, which is good for me.
I spot a group of two close to my spot and run to them with my max speed. They obviously found me before I got to them, but they were pretty injured and couldn't resist my attacks, and as a result they died within a few seconds. This time a few people noticed me killing, so they warily looked in my direction.
I, of course, noticed them, but they were all within a big group of people over 8, so I didn't attack them, as that is suicidal. I kept killing the groups of people with little numbers like 2 to 4, sometimes even solo people, so my kill count kept going up. Although I couldn't see a base number for how many I killed, I killed at least 25 people before the mission ended.
[Congratulations~ You completed Mission #3! Hehe~ You guys are lucky. There is 47 people left alive, so I can't kill random people~ How sad~ Well, here are the rewards!]
I felt my mouth twitch when I heard the screen, but I didn't care and went to an empty corner and sat down. Nobody dared to come within 10 meters of me since I killed people crazily by myself, which obviously scared the shit out of them.
[You have cleared Mission #3, Battle Royale.
-You have gained 30 points.
-You have gained 30 xp.
-You have killed 27 people.
-You have gained 300 xp.
-You have gained 250 Karma.]
I killed 27 people? I got a shit ton of xp and Karma as well, which is good. I was about to check my status but the screens didn't stop there.
[You have killed the most people! You will get the Rank 1 Bonus Reward! The reward is~
-100 points.
-100 xp.
-100 Karma.
-Right 1/5 of the Hidden Throne]
Hidden Throne? The fuck is that? Well it is obviously good if it is a Hidden Throne, but I only got one right out of five, so I ain't close to getting that. I got even more xp though.
[You have leveled up~ You have gained 2 Stat Points~]
[You have leveled up~ You have gained 2 Stat Points~]
I leveled up twice, which is good. I put 2 points into agility and 2 into dexterity and bring up my status.

Over 150 points now, so I can buy a spear. Well I should wait first to see if the mission will start soon or if we get a break.
[Congratulations on completing Mission #3! You will get a break of 10 hours~ A private room will be provided for everyone free of charge~ Aren't I nice!]
I was covered in a white light again suddenly and when I regained my senses I found myself in a small room without a door or window. There was a bed and a toilet, with a sink and shower but that is it. My body ached quite a bit so I looked at the clock that suddenly appeared and put an alarm for 6 hours on it and plop down on the bed and fall asleep almost instantly.
