Sarah just finish arranging her stuff in her new room, after that she took a shower. She still feel strange living in the mansion surrounded by strangers. Well not all, she knows Mr. Alexander for a few years. Their relationship is like a father and daughter, she never had a fathers care before well she did have it when she was little but everything change and all of it were her fault: thats how she heard what her father say. Always blaming her for it. Now she 18, even though she never shows but she needed that. She need a father's love.
No matter how much she needed, she knows that her father never give her the love that she needs. And she know why, but how could her father never think about her. What can she do when she was just a little girl back then. She doesn't know anything : why her father and mother arguing that day, why her mother pack up her things and shove in her luggage then leave without looking at her, without confort her when she cry calling her mother. She still remember all of it, the heartache, broken and was left behind.
She shook her head a little, there is no point looking back at the past. No matter what, it will never change. She could say that she no longer love her mother, theres no single memories that she remember about her accept from the time that she was left behind. What she felt only resentment towards her mother.
She lay on her big bed, it's so soft she thought. Just a few minutes, Sarah close her eyes and sleep. Dreaming about her new life. While at the living room, the butler has prepare tea for Mr. Alexander. He ask him
"What do you think of the girl?"
"Shes a good person sir, I can see in her eyes and aura. An innocent one, full of curiosity in it."
"Im glad that she's here, just hope that Josh were able to see what we see in her."
" Don't worry sir, I'm sure the young master will like her. Beside they already met on their first blind date. Even the young master hasn't say anything about her, so it is a sign that young master accept her. "
" I do hope so."
" Sir, why don't you take a rest first before dinner. I've already call young master about having dine together with you and Ms Sarah. "
" It's fine, I just need to check a few document. Just call me if dinner is ready"
"Yes sir"
The butler finally out from the living room, letting Mr. Alexander finish his work at the coffee table.
At the EXO company in the President's office, Josh feels irritated. He just got a call from his father's butler to info him that his father want him to go back home and have a dinner with him and Sarah. His okay with having dinner with his father but why did that stupid girl also at his father's house. What game is she playing by having dad favor her. She thinks that she can get my attention? I'll show that lower where she belong.
After finish his work at the company, Josh goes to his father's house. The butler is already waiting him at the front gate of the mansion.
After Josh got in, he ask about his father.
"Sir is already at the dining room with Miss Sarah."
Josh just nod and proceed towards the dinning room. He saw his father and Sarah laughing at something they talk about but the laugh quite down after they saw Josh walks towards them.
"What are you guys talking and laugh so much about it."
"Oh Josh you finally here. It's nothing, just a little old story. Come Sit down, the maids will serve dinner soon."
Josh take a seat opposite to Sarah, facing each other. He looks at her or more like glare, while Sarah just bow down her head without looking at him. She knows that he is watching her.
Dinner have been serve, during enjoying their dinner. Alexander ask Sarah how's the foods and she reply by saying it is delicious. Josh just roll out his eyes, of course.. To her, it is the first time she ate dinner that has been cooked by a 5 star chef.
"Josh, I think that you should move back and live here again."
"Dad, you know me. I like my freedom outside, beside there nothing wrong with living alone"
"Son, your getting married soon. Don't you think that it is best to stay here and get to know Sarah a bit."
"What are you talking about dad?"
"Actually, from now on she will live here with me. And I think that if you move back here. You and Sarah can get to know each other for little bit before your marriage ceremony."
"What did you say? she live here with you dad? Why would you let her live here? Doesn't she have her own house. Did she ask you, so she could live here? "
"Josh don't be to repulsive, it wasn't her that ask me to do but me. I ask her to come and live with me here. What's the problem with her live here anyway, this is my house."
"Dad, you know it is dangerous to let outsider live here."
"Well she not outsider Josh, I've know her for so long."
"You don't know that sometimes even if you know that person for so long, they could always hide their bad side. I dont want you to trust people so easily dad."
Sarah just look both Mr. Alexander and Josh getting in heated conversation. And that is all about her, she just stay silence.
" Josh go to my office room after this, we do need to discuss about something"
Without letting Josh reply, Alexandre just stood up and goes upstairs leaving Josh and Sarah at the dinning room.
"Wow, I didn't expect you work fast to have my father's favor. Truly fitting to be called gold digger. A poor girl like you shouldn't be living here, so why don't you pack your stuff and get out from here. I truly dont understand why would my father choose you to be my wife. Such a lowly girl with no sex appeal"
Josh couldn't help but vent his anger towards Sarah. He could see that his word had hurt her but he didn't give a damn. He still protest about the arrangement but what can he do when his father haven't given him the CEO position yet and the only way to do that, is to marry this girl in front of him.
Sarah just take a deep breath and slowly realease it. She knows this will happen if she live here with Mr. Alexander. She knows that she will get another Sarcastic from Josh.
What ever she heard, she just endured it.
