Akira lifted her tiny fragile palm and placed it on her chest and tried to calm her erratic heartbeats. She never felt like this when she was with Anthony. She would be all excited to meet up with him, go out on dates with him, but she never had such a pit in her stomach, she never had her legs turn into a lump. With Raymond around, it seemed like her entire body would transform and would no longer be under her command. She felt like the ownership of her body was transferred to him. He could make her feel warm, cold, ecstatic all at the same time.
She shook her head in despair and said to herself,
"Get a hold of yourself Akira. Don't you dare to drool in front of him".
She took a deep breath and then started scrolling through his playlist.
