Conrad suddenly felt like his throat was getting chocked. David's question stung him like a wild bee. Unpleasant memories started flooding in and he looked all restless. He turned himself away from David for a while to deal with the pain.
"Are you ok Mr. Conrad? Did I ask something wrong?"
Hearing him getting worried, he turned back and looked at David for a while and then said,
"That's something that we need to deal with later on. It's not the top priority right now. Let us focus on my son right now."
"Sure thing !!!"
David said, but he was convinced that there was something more to the story that was not being told to him by Conrad. He could sense his reluctance so he decided no to pry in. He knew that there were other means to dig into the past.
