After disconnecting the call, Sebastian closed his eyes, trying to suppress the burning pain inside of his heart.
Even though Sebastian was his brother, due to the happenings of the past, they could never reconcile. They barely tolerated each other's company. They had turned worse than acquaintances who never met even for Christmas or Fourth of July.
As his brother was linked to him by blood, no matter what, he couldn't cut him like a poisoned limb. He couldn't discard him out of life, because of the heavy debt. The debt that always weighed him down. The debt which had sealed his mouth forever and bonded his hands together, rendering him all helpless.
He drained the glass of water and then went to his desk. Taking a deep breath he pulled the desk drawer and took out the framed picture of his beloved and sighed.
"See what days I have to live to see."
