Title: The Heroes' Reincarnation
Abbreviation: THR
So far it's not bad.
Moving into the Synopsis:
"Six Heroes had completed their destiny, slaying the Demon King. The Gods and Goddesses, wanting balance to their world, decided to send the Heroes into another universe."
- I wanted to read something like this, for a long time. I actually got inspired from a dream with a similar premise and started writing up a story about 5 heroes who got reincarnated into the modern world, on a clean slate, but with knowledge and memory of their past lives intact.
- One thing to note here is that it's six heroes, while my idea had five.
- Another thing to note is that there are multiple deities in the world of origin.
- There is a demon king but was slain. So, no more demon kings in the future, it would seem. But if there are so many gods and goddesses, why couldn't they take care of the demon king for the world? It seems too selfish of them to give power to six heroes and then once the job is done, instead of letting them live their lives in peaceful retirement, they force-retire the heroes and send them packing to a different world instead. The plot is too forced for a synopsis.
"They wouldn't go unrewarded, however. The Gods and Goddesses gave the Heroes one fate-twisting chance before sending them off into their new lives."
- To balance their own world, they send these heroes off to a different world. I'm guessing the new world needs the heroes in order to balance it? That is the first thing that comes to my mind. And their only reward is a "fate-twisting chance". I would never want to have signed up to be a hero in the world of origin if I knew this was what awaited me.
"The Heroes found themselves in the future of the earth. Separated and with no way to contact each other. They joined the newest game release, A World's Legacy! The first game to succeed in a fully immersive VRMMORPG."
- VRMMORPG stands for virtual reality massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
-- Fully immersive? Means they would be wearing a full bodysuit for full body-tracking? Naked? Quite possible. How else could one entertain all their five senses in a virtual reality game?
- Separated with no way to contact each other, but they all have the same idea to play the same game. They adjusted to the modern/futuristic world extremely fast or maybe there will be multiple chapters of them learning to adjust to the futuristic Earth?
"The Heroes join the launch in hopes of coming into contact with each other"
- So social media is extinct in this future world of Earth. Any means of communication has to be done in a video game, and/or can only be done in a game. Why can't you just reveal your hero name on social media and hope to find others that way? Because social media doesn't exist anymore and thus these heroes become Neets who decide to meet each other through a video game.
"What adventures await our heroes? Well, there is only one way to find out..."
- By reading the novel? There are so many inconsistencies in this synopsis alone that seem to throw the story all over the place and feel like chapters will rush the plot in some aspects in order to get on with the story.
"Author note: I am inexperienced in writing. This is my first ever novel so I apologize for my inevitable mistakes beforehand."
- Well, this means the author is either a kid who started school, or an adult who is learning English and is just starting to write. Would be better to have stated, "I am inexperienced in storytelling via the written form"
