"And for the hospital records, what is your name?" The doctor asked her. I looked at the girl she didn't seem as lifeless as she was before. Her tan skin and pinkish- brown hair had more life and colour.
I leaned in, eager to hear the "Mystery Girl's" real name. "My name, is Reah Amber." The girl said quietly burying her pastel green eyes in the nearest pillow. I swore I saw tears in them, but it could've been my imagination.
"Hello Reah, I'm Dr. Julika!" The doctor introduced herself. "Now that you're conscious, may I ask you some questions?" Dr. Julika inquired.
"I guess." Reah replied looking the doctor in the eyes but hugging the pillow tightly to her chest.
"First question, how old are you?" Dr. Julika asked tapping her pen on her clipboard.
"16," Reah replied.
"That makes you a minor. Is there anyone we can call?" The doctor asked ready to send a message through the contraption we call "Pron messages."
"No, they're dead." She whispered. This time she didn't hide her face, instead, she turned away but her trembling shoulder betrayed her. Reah was crying.
There was a pause in the room everything was quiet as we let Reah calm down. She must've lost them recently I thought analyzing the situation. All we could do was watch as she let it all out.
Reah lay there, back turned, for around twenty minutes. Dr. Julika left after 10 minutes to tend to another patient. She instructed me to call her when Reah calmed down.
"A-are you okay?" I inquired cautiously.
"Yeah. Sorry about that must've been awkward having to just sit and watch my hysterics." Reah said wiping her eyes on the cotton gown and letting a small smile slip.
"It's okay," I replied. " At least I didn't have to listen to my sister lecture me on how Andere could've died. Because I know that already, but I don't think she understands what happened that's probably what Kinara is doing right-"
"Wait! Did you just say Andere? As in 'The Prince Andere' son of Princess Yuno? Wait I'm still in Aurora?" Reah interrupted me her eyes beaming already cheering up.
"Oh, my goodness I saved a prince! Prince Andere like the adowable half of the royal twins!" She fangirled.
"Where else did you think you were?"
"Well I figured that I drifted to a neighbouring country or even Lumi-Okia after I fainted in the water… I guess I was confused when you guys came in the first time. I just woke up and stuff then this random who I didn't recognize at first…" She trailed off
"Wait, if I'm still in Aurora, and you called Princess Yuno your sister, that means, you're Prince Adrin!"
I just sat there listening to Reah's revelation smiling ear to ear like some idiot. Then I remembered I hadn't introduced myself properly nor had I called the doctor.
"Sorry for my rudeness," I said formally. "I am Prince Adrin Gray Timothy Aurora pleasure to make your acquaintance." I said before walking to the Pron to call the doctor.
I guess that made her day, I thought smiling to myself.
