Skye and her father just finished talking about the suspected people listed on the folder. The information that she got from her father made her exhausted so she went back to her old room. She just can't erase the face of that wretched woman in her mind. Everything that happened before she flew away from home is because of her, and now she is one of the people who possibly commenced her mother's murder. Skye just stared into nothing as her memories suddenly flashed in her mind.
Her tired body sank onto the bed, a nostalgic scent of home and comfort wrapped her senses which lulled her to sleep.

Skye panted heavily as she ran away from her chasers. With the rain starting to get stronger, the road is beggining to really get slippery. Raindrops covered her vision but she doesn't mind. Each step becomes heavier because of the exhaustion from running and throbbing pain from her torso and limbs. She can also feel her face becoming numb from the cold that the wind and rain brought. There are tall stacks of container vans that are nearby. The container vans created a maze and she presumes that the end leads to the exit to the compound of warehouses. She slowed down to find a spot to rest a bit but she suddenly heard gunshots and loud laughter of men getting closer to her location. A voice of a woman suddenly boomed amongst the laughter of men.
"Come out little girl! Let us finish this! Stop being a pain in the ass!"
If she is not wounded and exhausted, she can face up to 6 people including the woman that just called out to her. From what she saw earlier, there are around 8 armed men that surrounds the woman and there are also other men are dispatched around the area to search for her.
She bit her lip and winced as she felt throbbing pain in her stomach. She needs to hang on a little bit more, as she is expecting her reinforcements to come any minute.
She heard a loud thud and she sprang up from her bed.
"Sorry Little Miss, I should have been more careful", Mindy, one of their maids apologized and offered a towel. "It seems like you were having a bad dream and you were sweating and panting despite the room's temperature. I was about to wake you up when bumped my hand into the bedside table. I am really sorry Little Miss."
"No worries and thank you. By the way, what brings you here?"
"I was checking the other rooms for our early morning cleaning and I saw that Little Miss' door was open. I was about to close it but you were panting loudly so I came to check."
She nodded and requested a glass of water to the young maid. She checked the clock and it is already 5 in the morning. When the maid got back, she told her that she will be sleeping some more and she will just call the maid quarters later for her breakfast.
When Mindy exited the room, she touched the part of her stomach where the wound in her dream was and then she lifted her shirt and smiled bitterly at the large scar.
She felt sleepyness and lay down to get some more sleep, hoping no more nightmares from the past to appear in her dreams.

Skye woke up at around noon and she contacted the maid quarters. They asked what she wanted for brunch and asked her to wait for it to be brought to her room.
Arni, the head maid, brought the brunch to her room. She hugged the head maid after she laid down the food.
"I should have just went down to the kitchen."
"Young Miss, the kitchen is being renovated and Master told us to bring it to your room instead. He still knows how lazy you can get when you wake up", Arni chuckled.
She also giggled and yawned. "By the way where is Pa?"
"He is with Young Master Astre, meeting with Mistress's older brother, Master Leon."
"I see. How about Brother Lune?"
"Young Master Lune is still busy in the hospital, as usual. He is not coming back here from the last couple of months now and he is still residing near the hospital where he works. At the Sunrise Hospital."
She stopped chewing her food and paused for a while when she heard the name of the hospital.
"Is there something wrong Young Miss? Isn't that the hospital that is owned by your-"
She placed a finger in the head maid's mouth. "I don't want to hear that person's name, or anything about that, Arni."
"Ye-yes, as you wish Young Miss."
She just finished eating in silence and Arni exited from her room with emply plates. Her phone buzzed. Her face lightened up as,one of her bestfriends' name showed up in the caller id.
"Yo Cali."
"Hey girl!" A high-pitched greeting boomed through the phone's speaker. "The gang wants to see you tonight. Hep! And don't you dare say no 'cause I know you just want to play computer games 'till you fall asleep!"
She chuckled. "Alright, I am going."
"Good! Good! By the way, I am already here downstairs so hurry up!"
"Whoa, fast as ever. Yep, see you!"
She ended the call and went to the shower immediately.
