"Now for the rules of the Grand Shōtotsu, There are about 263 Chīmas who registered in the Grand Shōtotsu"
"But sadly i must say only 16 will move on to the next round"
Everyone was shocked and it suddenly began to start getting noisy.
"Only 16!!! This is going to be tougher than I thought" Shadow muttered in shock.
"Leave it to Dad to make things hard....." Yuki replied.
"Only 16 huh....." Sora muttered as she think of the odds they had in making it.
"It'd be a tough one??? Are you sure you can do it on your own Ryūsei???" Kayosha asked in concern.
"Yeah, I'll be fine I guess" Ryūsei replied.
"As I said, Only 16 Chīmas will move to the next round, The first round shall be a Chīma Showdown" King Yogan continued explaining the rules of the Grand Shōtotsu.
"A showdown where teamwork, determination to win and the masteries of spells are needed to bring your Chīma to victory" He added.
A gigantic holographic projection suddenly appeared above King Yogan showing the entire map of the Kingdom of Ryūgū.
"Now then it's time to know about the mechanics of the first round, As you can see above this is a complete replica of the Kingdom of Ryūgū created by none other than.... Ryūshi Ryūgū" King Yogan happily stated m
The screen then reveals Ryūshi's face as he is smiling and waving as the crowd began clapping and cheering.
"W-W-Wait, Ryūshi!!!!!" Ryūsei was shocked.
"I'm not surprised anymore, I mean Ryūshi is the Crowned Dragon Of Creation" Shizen stated.
"Now then, Each Chīma will be transported to the arena at a different location and once you are transported you'll have an hour to duke it out, Go wild if I must say" King Yogan happily said.
"Don't worry about the buildings in the entire arena, The arena you'll be transported too is just a replica so don't be afraid to go all out, It's your time to shine"
Now for the rules of the Chīma Showdown:
"Firstly, Killing is strictly prohibited, If an Elementalist would commit such a crime, Their Chīma will be disqualified and will be face with greater consequences once the Grand Shōtotsu is over"
"Secondly, Blackmailing is also strictly prohibited, If an Elementalist is caught blackmailing another Elementalist in terms of family, reputation, or worst by keeping someone hostage, Their Chīma will be disqualified and will be face with major punishments"
"Lastly, using of drugs and or illegal enchantments is strictly prohibited, If an Elementalist is caught, He/she will be sent directly to prison"
Also I'd like to inform you that if things go out of hand, The Gādians would be stepping in, They're currently under radar in the arena but rest assured that they'd be watching you carefully.
"They've really thought of everything haven't they" Shadow muttered.
"What you would've expect it is a special event" Shizen replied.
"Also a new rule is added to this Grand Shōtotsu" King Yogan happily announced.
"To balance out the power difference between regular Elementalist and Dragon Sages. The Gādians have decided that starting now alliances between Chīmas are allowed" King Yogan happily said and all of the participants began muttering.
"Looks like they've made things tougher than regular Shōtotsu" Sora muttered.
"Well it kinda fair for everyone" Shizen replied.
"Dragon Sages are more powerful than regular Elementalist, So I guess alliance forming is an option" He added.
"Now then, How will you proceed to the next round you ask" King Yogan continued to explain.
"Each of the Chīmas will be teleported to the arena before the first round starts, There will be Demons around the entire arena.
"Each Demon will give you some points depending on the Rank they're in"
"F-Rank Demons will grant you 10 points, E-Rank will grant you 20 points, D-Rank will grant you 30 points, C-Rank will grant you 40 points, B-Rank will grant you 50 points" King Yogan added.
"Also, To spice things up We've also added an A-Rank Demon" King Yogan happily said shocking the others.
"But unlike the rest, The A-Rank Demon will grant you an automatic slot in the next round" King Yogan added.
"Also to makes things even more difficult, You can also get points by defeating the other Chīmas but in order to claim the points you need to defeat both Chīmas" King Yogan happily said.
"If you ask on how many points you'll get... We've decided to go with "Winner takes all". Which means once you defeated a Chīma, You'll have the privilege of taking all there points" King Yogan added.
"This will be hard, It means we can't trust other Elementalist besides our team" Shizen muttered.
"With all the rules explain, You'll only have an hour for the first round so utilitize your time properly" King Yogan finished his speech.
"Let the Grand Shōtotsu begin!!!!" King Yogan shouted and a ray of light then transcends into the arena hitting all the Chīma's participating.
~~~~ At the spectators area ~~~~
"Jikan??!!! Catherine??!! What're you doing here???" Ryūshi asked.
"We already did our patrol but sadly the Corrupted Elementalist is still no where to be seen" Jikan replied.
"And I kinda wanna watch this Grand Shōtotsu again" Jikan added.
"What's with the weird light???" Catherine curiously asked.
"It's a teleportation spell" Ryūshi replied. "Right now all the participants are going transported at the arena" Ryūshi added
The ray of light then disappears and all of the participants were teleported to the arena.
Suddenly screens of holographic projection circled around the spectators area so that the spectators can see what's going on in the Arena.
~~~~ At the Arena ~~~~
"Looks like the Grand Shōtotsu began I better go hunt some-" It was only a few seconds in the Grand Shōtotsu and Ryūsei was then surrounded by E-Rank Demons.
"Looks like they've save me the trouble of finding some Demons" Ryūsei smirked.
Ryūsei is currently surrounded by Hell Hounds, E-Rank Demons who're well known for there speed, They're often seen in packs and ruled by an alpha Hellhound.

"Hello Maggots, I'll be your commentator for today" Prof. Hex happily introduces himself.
"And I'm Professor Volt, I'll be your assistant commentator" Prof. Volt happily introduces himself as well.
"As you can see, Ryūsei Ryūgū is currently surrounded by E-Rank Demons" The commentators announce showing a live video of Ryūsei being surrounded by hell hounds.
"Grandpa..." Catherine muttered
~~~~ At the Arena ~~~~
"I better finish this quickly-" But before Ryūsei can finish talking the hell hounds then pounced on Ryūsei.
"Meteor Dragon Photon Blade!!!!!" Ryūsei casted a spell and a sword made of Meteor Dragon energy appeared in his hand.
"Meteor Dragon Photon Assault!!!!" Ryūsei then casted a spell and a mysterious white aura surrounded his body enchanting his physical abilities.
Suddenly in a blink of an eye Ryūsei launched a quick slash to all of the hell hounds that pounced.
It's so fast that he manages to cut the Hell hounds in half without them or anyone noticing he moved.
"That should suffice with a couple of points" Ryūsei happily said and the mysterious aura then disappeared from Ryūsei's body.

"Am I seeing what I think I am seeing or did the Hell hound just died while jumping????" Prof. Volt curiously asked.
"Idiot, Check the point bars, That maggot just received a total of 240 points" Prof. Hex replied.
"He must've attacked the Hell hounds so fast that we didn't even see him attack" Prof. Hex added.
~~~ The crowd then began to talk ~~~
"Dad, Ryūsei's really powerful isn't he???" Meisai happily asked.
"He is sweetie" Akanishi replied.
~~~~ Inside Akanishi's Mind ~~~~~~~
"Well he did defeat that S-Rank Demon on his own, The Demons he's facing our nothing compared to the once he faced before"
"I'm surprised he isn't well known or even ranked as a Gādian up until now"

As more and more Elementalist fought of against the Demons in the arena more and more explosions occurred destroying some parts of the arena.
"Ice Dragon Blizzard Blast!!!!!" Yuki then casted a spell and she then shotted and arrow covered with Ice Dragon energy.
The arrow then hits a couple of Cursed Shamans and during the impact a gigantic ice burg appeared out of nowhere.
Cursed Shamans are C-Rank Demons who casted curses and misfortune to their foes.

More and more Elementalist continue to gather points while some began attack some other Chīmas.
"Hey Melody!!!! Have you seen any A-Rank Demons" Sandā said with a bored tone in his voice.
"No, Just focus on getting more points-" Melody replied but suddenly an fire blast was headed towards Melody.
"Lightning Dragon Thunderbolt Strike" Sandā then casted a spell and a blast made of Lightning Dragon energy intercepted the fire blast.
"You got some nerve hitting my teammate...Flick" Sandā then glares at Flick who was on top of a roof.
"Since when did you care about someone Sandā" Flick replied as he jumps from the roof of a building.
"I thought you were a lone wolf like me" Flick added.
"I am a lone wolf, But unlike you I'm not-" Sandā then quickly launches an assault on Flick but luckily Flick manages to dodge the assault.
"Don't underestimate me Sandā" Flick said.
"Fire Bullet Barrage!!!!!" Flick then casted a spell and a barrage of fire blast is heading straight towards Sandā.
"Haven't you realize up till now, Dragon Sages are stronger than regular Elementalist" Sandā replied as he casually dodges the fireblast.
"Besides you did lose to that useless F-Rank Loser" Sandā then grabs Flick's head using his right arm.
"I better go find the other Chīma then-" Melody suggested but Sandā quickly interrupted her.
"There is no need for that" Sandā replied and he quickly slams Flick's head at the ground.
"Melody" Sandā said with a serious tone in his voice.
"Melody Dragon Harmonic Bind" Melody then casted a spell and a mysterious aura surrounded Flick.
"What is this?!!!! Why can't I move?!!!!!!" Flick screamed as he tries to move.
"Now then your gonna tell us everything you know about your partner" Sandā then tightens his grip using his hand on Flick's head.
"Now tell me where is your partner??" Sandā asked.
"Otherwise you'd have a full experience of what it feels of having Lightning Dragon energy in your face and you wouldn't want that would you??" Sandā then releases a little bit of Lightning Dragon energy on his hand and it electrified Flick.
"You better answer hurry otherwise you'd might experience thunderbolts strike from the sky" Sandā teased.
