"The Grand Elementalist is the person destined to be one of the members of the Twilight Faith. Which means… Ryūsei Ryūgū..... You're the 4th Grand Elementalist…"
Ryūsei: "Me??? The 4th Grand Elementalist??!!!" Ryūsei asked, he was still in disbelief and was extremely shocked. He was having a hard time believing he's the 4th Dragon King's Disciple.
Ryūshi: "Yes, You're the 4th Grand Elementalist there is no doubt." Ryūshi replied, trying to calm down the shocked Ryūsei.
Ryūsei: "But how am I the 4th Grand Elementalist?" He curiously asked.
Ryūsei: "Isn't the Grand Elementalist supposed to be a highly skilled Elementalist?" He added.
Ryūshi: "The Dragon King feared that one day Quintela might escape from the seal so he casted a spell on Akashino's lifeless body." He proclaimed.
Ryūshi: "A spell that reincarnates him generation to generation and you Ryūsei are the 4th Reincarnate" He added.
Ryūshi: "But I don't recommend telling this to anyone" He proclaimed with a serious tone.
Ryūsei: "How come???" Ryūsei asked.
Ryūshi: "Once word got out that you're the 4th Grand Elementalist, Old foes shall return and hunt you down. And not only that, your friends and family will be in danger." Ryūshi said as he warned Ryūsei on what'll happen.
Ryūsei: "What do you mean by old foes? Weren't they all killed already?" Ryūsei curiously asked.
Ryūshi: "Like I said it's better not to tell anyone that you're the 4th Grand Elementalist, If word got out that you're 4th Grand Elementalist. The Fallen God will return once again from the shadows and hunt you down" Ryūshi proclaimed, giving Ryūsei a serious look.
It didn't take a second for Ryūsei to react. He heard the name of "Fallen God" a name who has haunted many high rank Elementalist even to this day.
Ryūsei: "The Fallen God?!! I thought he was killed by my uncle Kūgeki years ago..." Ryūsei yelled, he was extremely shocked, finding out the Fallen God was still alive.
Ryūshi: "He's alive and waiting for the new Grand Elementalist to rise. Once he finds out that you're now here, he'll return once again and finish the job" Ryūshi replied.
Ryūsei: "I understand, I won't tell anyone about me or even the twilight faith" Ryūsei proclaimed.
Ryūshi: " I'll see you next time Ryūsei" Ryūshi happily greeted. He bids farewell and undoes the spell causing Ryūsei's mind to return to its original body.
Ryūsei then returns to the bench where he was sitting and the moment he returns Meisei approached him and happily said "I'm sorry to keep you waiting, the meeting is finally done"
Ryūsei: "It's alright Meisai, I didn't wait that long" Ryūsei happily said, They then went inside the meeting room.
Inside the room were a lot of blueprints and documents were scattered everywhere and there I saw a man with scarlet red hair and violet eyes. He was wearing a white haori with the village crest sewed behind it. He was the warden of the Village.
Meisai then approaches the man "Dad, He's the Elementalist that I was talking about." Meisai happily proclaimed, introducing me to the warden of the village.
"Hello, I'm Akanishi Kakusu." The man introduces himself.
Ryūsei: "It's nice to meet you Akanishi, I'm Ryūsei Ryūgū." Ryūsei happily replied, introducing himself.
As Ryūsei introduces himself Akanishi was then put into deep thought on what Ryūsei just said "Ryūsei Ryūgū, That's the first time I heard that name..... Are you a newly ranked Elementalist???" He curiously asked.
Ryūsei: "I am, This is actually my first quest." Ryūsei replied, Akanishi happily smiled.
Akanishi: "Anyway, Let's get to business then. Meisai, could you please wait outside." Akanishi happily proclaims and Meisai then leaves the room and goes outside to play.
We then began to discuss the A-Rank quest I'm dealing with and it turns out a lot has been changed.
"I'm sure you must know, A couple days ago a couple of Elementalist started disappearing without a trace."
"But sadly it is to say we've already done an investigation about the disappearance of the missing Elementalist and during the meeting the result of the investigation has been determined."
"The reason for the disappearance was because of a Necromancer. He's been spotted taking children to the Forest of Azure, In the direction west from the village"
Ryūsei: "Wait a Necromancer is doing this??" Ryūsei curiously asked.
Necromancers are A-Rank Demons with the ability to cast and manipulate Dark Energy. It's been known to the Elemental World that if an Elementalist manages to cross paths with one, it's best not to fight against it alone. Only S-Rank Elementalist can take on a necromancer all alone.
Akanishi then approaches Ryūsei with a serious look in his eyes "This quest has been turned from an A-Rank to an S-Rank quest, Do you still want to continue the quest" Akanishi curiously asked.
Ryūsei: "A S-Rank quest...." Ryūsei muttered, he thought it carefully as he knew his life would be in danger. Akanishi then turns around and sadly said "I understand if you don't want to take-"
Ryūsei: "I'll take it!!! We've gotta stop that Necromancer" Ryūsei loudly proclaimed, he knew he couldn't let that Necromancer get away.
Akanishi: "Thank you for your bravery. The Necromancer was last seen west from the village." Akanishi happily proclaimed and then handed Ryūsei a map of the village.
Ryūsei: "I'll be off then" Ryūsei happily proclaimed. He then leaves the room and goes outside, he then sees Meisai waiting for him.
Meisai: "So what did my dad say???" Meisai curiously asked.
Ryūsei: "I'm heading out, The village is in danger." Ryūsei proclaimed. he didn't give any information to Meisai because he didn't want her to freak out. Meisai nods in response, she didn't question the Elementalist in front of him. She just wishes Ryūsei good luck.
After a while of walking, Ryūsei arrived at the entrance of the Forest Of Azure. It was a wide area filled with nothing but trees and it had mist around the ground floor.
Ryūsei: "So this is the place-" Ryūsei muttered but it didn't take a while for him to get startled when he suddenly heard a loud scream.
Ryūsei: "Someone's in danger, I gotta go and help." Ryūsei quickly muttered. He quickly ran towards the direction where the scream was coming from. He then sees four Corrupted Treants attacking a defenceless child
Corrupted Treants are formed when a source of Dark Magic enters a tree or a dead trunk reawakening them and are mostly hostile as they would attack anyone who passes their territory.
Ryūsei: "Let go off him" Ryūsei yelled, he didn't hesitate to quickly kick one of the corrupted treants in the face and knock it to a nearby tree. Ryūsei then glares at the remaining corrupted treants causing them to move away in fear.
Suddenly a black shockwave emerges around Ryūsei and a few trees around him turn into corrupted treants and they suddenly start attacking him.
Ryūsei manages to dodge the attacks one by one while carrying the little boy. He quickly jumps upwards landing on a tree branch.
Ryūsei: "Now's your last chance to flee, I won't hesitate to kill all of you" Ryūsei shouted as he glared at the corrupted treants.
One of the corrupted treants waved it's arms, It then started to taunt Ryūsei. Ryūsei then safely puts the little boy on the tree and jumps down landing on the ground.
Ryūsei: "Fine then, I'll start with-" Ryūsei then chanted a spell in mid air and a white light sword appeared into his right hand and the moment he landed on the ground, in a blink of an eye he launched a quick assault on the corrupted treant. It was so fast that none of the corrupted treants even noticed him moving.
Ryūsei: "-You" Ryūsei slowly muttered as the corrupted treant who taunted him was then cut into pieces.
A couple of corrupted treants were suddenly pissed at Ryūsei. They were angered when they saw one of their comrades get killed easily.
They then launch an assault on Ryūsei but fortunately he manages to dodge all of the attacks. Although the corrupted treants outnumber and manage to surround Ryūsei, all of their attacks llack in both speed and precision.
Ryūsei continues to dodge every attack with ease before noticing that he was both surrounded and outnumbered.
Ryūsei: " I guess it's time to chant some spells in my arsenal" Ryūsei happily muttered.
Ryūsei: "I have to thank that ray of light back then during the match against Flick… Without it I won't be able to chant any spells" Ryūsei proclaimed.
Ryūsei: "Meteor Dragon: Sword Dance v8" Ryūsei then chanted a spell and eight white swords made of light appeared behind Ryūsei floating in mid air. (The "v" at the end shows the number of blades used.)
The corrupted treants then quickly attack him from all directions. With every treant charging straight at Ryūsei.
Ryūsei: "I guess it's time to end this once and for all." Ryūsei happily proclaimed, holding the white sword in his hand. He had a huge smirk on his face even though the corrupted treants that surrounded him started to attack.
The floating white swords that Ryūsei created using the "Meteor Dragon: Sword Dance" started to disperse around him zooming around Ryūsei at high speed stabbing anything it hits.
The floating blades penetrated and pierced treant after treant, killing anything it hit, defeating almost all of the corrupted monsters that surrounded Ryūsei.
With Ryūsei taking out most of the corrupted treants, a desperate attempt was made when the few remaining treants merged with each other creating a gigantic corrupted treant.
With the strength of all the treants combined into one, The Gigantic Corrupted Treant then roared releasing a powerful shockwave scaring all of the birds in the area.
It then slammed it's right hand at Ryūsei, Luckily Ryūsei managed to dodge the attack and once the giant tree hand hitted the ground beneath Ryūsei burst creating a huge crater.
Without any hesitation Ryūsei quickly jumps up after dodging the attack. He then cuts the giant tree arm using the white sword in his hand.
The corrupted treant then tried to grab Ryūsei in mid air using its left hand. But the floating white swords stabbed the giant treant's left leg causing it to lose its balance and fall down.
Ryūsei: "It's strength is tremendous but its speed was reduced greatly" Ryūsei thought as he retreated a couple of distance away from the arm he just cutted.
The gigantic treant roared and roared. It was extremely angry that Ryūsei cutted of its arm. But the arm that Ryūsei just cut was instantly regenerated.
The floating swords that stabbed the gigantic treant's leg then disperse once again trying to slashes the giant treant's body but sadly the gigantic corrupted treant was too big and the assault barely made a scratch.
With the swords barely making a scratch, the Gigantic Treant then roars as Ryūsei pisses it off once again.
Ryūsei: "Guess I'll try another spell in my arsenal" Ryūsei muttered.
Ryūsei: "Meteor Dragon: Light-edge Shuriken v4" Ryusei then chanted a spell and he then used 4 of the floating white swords assembling it in his right hand creating a 4-Bladed white shuriken made of light.
The gigantic treant then roared once again but this time it absorbed all the trees in the surrounding area. With the trees all absorbed, the gigantic treant doubled in size and was now covered with thick tree scale armor.
Ryūsei:"This light shuriken is a little small, I'll take it up a notch." Ryūsei happily proclaimed, seeing the monster in front of him doubled its size and stats.
Ryūsei: "Meteor Dragon: Light-edge Shuriken v8" Ryūsei then chanted a spell, merging all the remaining floating white swords creating a 8-Bladed white shuriken made of light.
With the 8-Bladed Shuriken constantly rotating in Ryūsei's right hand, The Gigantic Corrupted Treant started to approach Ryūsei.
Ryūsei: "Good bye, Demon!!" Ryūsei proclaimed, he then threw the 8-bladed lightedge white shuriken at the gigantic corrupted treant.
The 8-bladed light-edge white shuriken hits the gigantic corrupted treant slicing its waist in half. The lightedge shuriken then explodes creating a massive explosion of light.
Ryūsei quickly grabs the little boy who was still on top of the tree and he quickly runs away from the explosion. He jumps from tree to tree, landing from branch to branch and after a while of jumping, he finally stops and lands on the ground and Ryūsei gently drops the little boy on the ground.
Ryūsei: "Are you alright??? Tell me what's your name???" Ryūsei slowly asks as he slowly approaches the boy.
???: "I underestimated you pesky brat but clearly you're more powerful than I thought little Dragon Sage" The child muttered, surprising Ryūsei.
Ryūsei then quickly kicks the little boy knocking it to a nearby tree and it falls to the ground, unfortunately the little boy then gets up and transforms into a Necromancer.
Ryūsei: "You're the Necromancer that the warden of the village was talking about" Ryūsei proclaimed, slowly backing away from the Necromancer.
???: "I am Nekuro of the Abyss. It's unfortunate for you to lose your little life like this… You've discovered something you weren't supposed to know." The Necromancer proclaimed. He then released a shockwave of black flames around him.
Ryūsei: "Meteor Dragon: Photon Blade" Ryūsei then casted a spell, and a white sword made of light appeared into his right hand.
He then slashes the black flames that approach him using his blade. The trees around him that were hit were instantly burned and turned into ash.
Nekuro: "What is this? I've never seen an Elementalist cutting my flames before" The necromancer proclaimed.
Nekuro: "Demon Art: Death Rain" The necromancer then chanted a spell and a barrage of dark energy headed straight at Ryūsei.
Fortunately Ryūsei manages to dodge the barrage of dark energy and even deflect some of the dark energy using his sword.
Nekuro: "I see your swordsmanship is beyond expectations, but swordsmanship isn't enough to stop me" The necromancer proclaimed.
Nekuro: "Demon Art: Tormenting Roots" The necromancer chants a spell, the ground starts to shake and suddenly Ryūsei was wrapped by roots coming from the ground.
Nekuro: "You're by far the strongest Elementalist I've ever crossed paths with up until now, You might be as powerful as a Gādian." The necromancer proclaimed.
Nekuro: "Unfortunately pests like you must be tolerated immediately" He added.
Ryūsei: "Is that so?" Ryūsei asked with a smirk on his face.
Nekuro: "The flames of hell, A flame that can't be put out" The necromancer proudly proclaimed. His staff then started to gather more dark energy creating a layer of black fire around him.
Nekuro: "Demon Art: Hellfire Blaze!!!!" The necromancer then chanted a spell, releasing all the gather vlack energy from his staff, creating a black pulse for fire hitting Ryūsei, surrounding him with black flames.
The necromancer slowly started to walk away, he knew very well that the spell managed to hit Ryūsei. But he then suddenly stopped when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"I thought you had me there"
Nekuro quickly turns around and sees Ryūsei covered with a whitish aura. The black flames around Ryūsei's body slowly started to disappear, shocking the necromancer.
Nekuro: "Impossible!!!!!" He yelled in disbelief.
Nekuro: "The flames of hell couldn't be put out!!!!" The necromancer yells once more, he begins to panic as he starts to question himself on what Elementalist Ryūsei is exactly.
Nekuro: "How can a light-attribute Elementalist even dispel my flames?!! The flames of hell could only be extinguished by a Gādian, A S-Rank Fire-Based Elementalist or...." The necromancer proclaimed, he then realized an important piece of the puzzle. A piece that answered all his questions, a piece that answers why an Elementalist like Ryūsei could be this powerful at a young age.
Nekuro: "No!!! Impossible!!!! Why now!!!!!" The necromancer yelled, he slowly started to run away with fear and panic. He finally realized that Ryūsei was the chosen one.
Ryūsei: "I see you finally found out who I am." Ryūsei proclaimed, he then appeared in front of tge necromancer.
Nekuro: "He's fast" He muttered in thought before receiving a kick from Ryūsei knocking him back. His staff then began gathering black energy once more.
Nekuro: "Demon Art: Catastrophic End!!!" The necromancer then chanted a spell, a gigantic sphere made of dark energy formed above his staff. It was already the size of a tree and it started to begin getting bigger and bigger
Ryūsei: "Meteor Dragon: Photon Blade" Ryūsei then chanted a spell, a white sword made of light appeared in his right hand.
Nekuro: "It's over!!!!!!" The necromancer proclaimed, he then released the large sphere of dark energy at Ryūsei.
Ryūsei: "It's not over just yet, You're still here… After all… You're still here" Ryūsei proclaimed, he then slashes his sword cutting the large dark sphere in half causing it to disappear.
Nekuro: "H-H-He… cutted my spell.." The necromancer stuttered, he was in disbelief. Now witnessing something almost impossible, he knew his opponent was the Dragon King's Disciple.
Nekuro: "It is you!!! The Grand Elementalist!!!!" The necromancer falls to the ground, he then begins to back away from Ryūsei.
Ryūsei: "Let's end it here Nekuro!!!!!!" Ryūsei then slowly walks toward Nekuro.
Nekuro: "No get away from me!!!!! Get away!!!! Please spare me!!!" The Necromancer pleaded, causing Ryūsei to stop walking and look at him.
Nekuro: "Demon Art: Hellfire Blast" Nekuro then chants a spell, grabbing the opportunity when Ryūsei was distracted. A large wave of black fire headed its way towards Ryūsei.
Nekuro: "You may be the Grand Elementalist but even you couldn't stop that-" He proclaimed, before a white shockwave came out of the black flames hitting him.
The black flames were extinguished once again, Ryūsei was just standing there, He didn't bother moving. The white shockwave hitted Nekuro, creating a wound in his face, slashing his left eye off and destroying his staff.
Blood then came out from Nekuro's mouth as he fell down on the ground due to the pain. His wounds were burning, He was getting weaker and weaker.
Nekuro: "This isn't light… Why does my wound burn so much?… Why am I getting weaker and weaker after getting hit?" He asked in thought.
"You're no Elementalist!!!! You're a monster" The necromancer proclaimed with fear in his eyes.
